Born into a lesser Arkanian lineage obsessed with genetic purity and intellectual superiority, Yrovis found early that he had little interest in laboratories or corporate boardrooms. Instead, he was fascinated by the artifacts those institutions dismissed as primitive: cracked Sith talismans, High Republic navigational arrays, Old Republic war banners, ancient Mandalorian armor fragments, Rakatan shards whose purpose had long been forgotten. To Yrovis, history was not static. It was leverage.

Over decades, he built the Ferand Museum Complex, a sprawling fortified estate. From orbit it resembles a private citadel rather than a cultural institution. Inside are climate-controlled vaults, sealed wings, rotating galleries, and entire sections accessible only to Ferand and his inner staff.

Each artifact is catalogued with obsessive precision, cross-referenced with obscure Arkanian academic records and private excavation reports. Some pieces were purchased legally. Many were not.

Yrovis is a notorious drunkard, rarely seen without a crystalline decanter of expensive Corellian spirits in hand. He spends credits as though they replenish themselves, funding expeditions into dangerous sectors, outbidding senators and crime lords alike, and hosting decadent galas inside his museum halls.

Entire wings have been built on a whim after a single night of heavy drinking and inspiration. His spending appears reckless, but it is rarely foolish.

For all his indulgence, Ferand is cunning. Arkanian education has sharpened his mind into a surgical instrument. He knows lineage, provenance, and forgery techniques with unnerving depth. He can identify a fake artifact at a glance, citing obscure metallurgical inconsistencies or cultural misplacements from memory. When negotiations turn tense, his drunken façade fades, revealing a calculating intellect that has outmaneuvered pirates, Imperial quartermasters, and rival collectors.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths

Arkanian Intellect: Exceptionally analytical, with deep knowledge of galactic history, xenology, and artifact authentication. Rarely fooled by replicas or fabricated provenance.

Vast Collection: Commands one of the largest private collections of antiquities in the region. Many items possess political, cultural, or even occult significance that can shift leverage in negotiations.

Fortified Complex: His museum doubles as a defensive stronghold, equipped with layered security systems, private guards, environmental locks, and sealed vault chambers.

Financial Reach: Though a lavish spender, his wealth and credit lines allow him to fund expeditions, bribe officials, and outbid nearly any rival.

Social Manipulator: Hosts extravagant events that attract nobles, academics, criminals, and officers alike, gathering information as easily as artifacts.

Weaknesses

Alcohol Dependence: Frequently intoxicated, which can impair reaction time, judgment, and physical coordination during crises.

Compulsive Acquisition: Cannot resist rare or historically significant objects, even when the cost or risk is disproportionate.

Physical Frailty: Tall and imposing but not physically robust. Relies on guards and automated defenses in direct conflict.

Arrogant Superiority: His Arkanian pride leads him to underestimate lesser species, sometimes missing subtle threats.
