Your Arms Should Reflect Who You Are (PM to join unless tagged)

Recently I'd been reflecting on what got to the role of Jedi Knight... A lot of my past was tragedy and I was hard on myself due to those circumstances...As it was I still hadn't visited my brother's grave on Corellia. I still remembered the last time I'd done so, I'd been shot at by the authorities with two scars from slugs I'd had to dig out and treat myself. That had been the last time I'd been on Corellia befroe I'd fled to Triple Zero... Looking at a table of arms in the Shadow HQ I remembered one of the things Seras had said "Your weapons and your armor should reflect who YOU are Andorreth. You are nobility, a huntsman, a man of character. Pick things that subtly show such things. Be able to alter how you carry yourself and how you speak. You may be nobility but there's a hit out on you. Don't walk like nobility walk like a beggar, a drifter, a merc. Adopt their habits and survive."

As it was I didn't fit in Beskar, at least not full beskar'gam. I was a Jedi Knight, the set of sabers I'd created recently perfectly reflected who I was. Rugged but noble, the saber crystal threaded through Terantatek leather clinked together softly. Grabbing the fasteners of my beskar'gam I unfastened them and stacked the armor neatly on the table. Recently I'been wearing a seperate set of armor. More geared towards hiding in plain sight. The breastplate was Terantatek leather over beskar plates. It wasn't full beskar but it didn't need to be the leather had been etched and tooled based upon my brothers' build. This was the armor he would've worn had he been made prince. Fitting that it was mine now it meant every time I went into battle I'd be carrying him with me and he'd be protecting me.

I'd removed a bit of the collar recently but overall it remained the same. I'd also chosen a new cloak to blend in with the beggars, vagrants, and other types of people. Seras was right better to blend in and gather intel than stick out wearing full beskar'gam. As it was the breastplate could be hidden under the cloak I could be noble and carry myself as a beggar if need be. I was no better than any other Knight of the order. The sabers could be clipped to my belt, if asked how I came by them I could lie and say I killed a Jedi. For all a mercenary would know I did...As it was I'd had training in how to kill Jedi or Sith....Placing the cloak on the table by my breastplate I turned my attention to the weapons we had here at the Silver HQ.

As it was I tried to keep a variety of weaponry available to all Jedi and specialty troops we had. One thing I hadn't strayed much from was my choice in firearms but maybe it was time to switch that up. As it was there was a delivery of new weaponry set to arrive today. One of the Lotus Guards and an HK unit had had orders to take my dropship to go and retrieve them from a dealer from elsewhere in the galaxy. If any shadows came by they might end up with new toys....

While I waited for the dropship to arrive I set about selecting new sidearms. Something to match the noble and the savage within me....I liked blasters they never really had to worry about running out of ammo but they could also be deflected and sometimes it paid to be armed with surprises. Looking through the armory I spotted a pair of pistols, actual slugthrower pistols.

Plus with the cloak I'd chosen and casual wear I could actually pull off having two sets of pistols. One of blaster pistols and the other the normal pistols... Could also get away with loading my own ammunition too. These pistols spoke to me though.... pulling the slide back on one I made sure it was empty then did the same with the second. The slides were smooth, polished and easy to pull. Releasing them I slid the pistols into a dual holster then slid the holster onto my belt. Two sat low on the hips and two on the back. A pistol whenever I'd need them and both sets in easy reach as well. The holsters on my right hip also held a spot for a knife.... interestingly the last supply ship had received a good deal of bladed weapons. Looking through them all I recognized a set of four knives that I thought lost...They weren't exactly common either. These blades were made of both beskar and phrik with electrum etching. Ceremonial and completely ready for battle as well. These were Echani Mandalorian courtship blades...gifted with exceeding caution due to the symbolism between two peoples bent on war and how rare it was for either people to court one another.

There was a note with them "Andorreth when you came to Eshan months ago I trained you with using The Force for sand manipulation. These blades are a gift to you personally, what you do with them is up to you however I would recommend one for your use, one for courtship and the other two to be given to those that have earned your respect both with a blade and their character. May your wits stay sharp, the stars watch over you and peace be in your heart. Also I expect you to teach another what I shared with you about the sands Andorreth. Blessings of the stars be with you, Akira."
