Stepping out of the repulsorpod as the Senate hearing came to an end, Dallen didn't break stride as he left his place and steered toward the position for the representatives of Eshan. There were likely to be several more hearings the Senate might sit through, however, that didn't matter to the Republic Commander as he reached for his comlink to keep on top of his efforts while he waited. "Lieutenant Vanquo, the meeting didn't end favorably but we weren't turned down either. Setup a meeting with the Supreme Commander's office as quickly as possible. If we are to strike while the kettle's hot we might get permission yet while things are in motion." Of course it hardly mattered if he could not get ahold of the equipment and personnel he desired.
Which, thankfully, required the Eshan Senator who the officer hadn't even singled out. After all had the majority supported him then he would have gotten the tools anyway. The Echani calling for him to meet afterwards was just an immensely lucky coincidence, though perhaps Jedi would give credit to the force.
