You Are... A Mystery To Me [Xilo Gale]

| [member="Xilo Gale"] |

There were rumors that had circulated to the Sith Lord, about a near Human child that had a lot of potential. Darth Ayra knew nothing about Xilo Gale. The circumstances of how he came to be on Coruscant, as part of the One Sith collective and that in itself told the Sith all she needed to know about the boy. One who was vested in some much mystery had a certain curiosity, an enigma that she would like to find out about. So she had invited him to meet with her at the top of the steps leading up to the Sith Temple on Coruscant to discuss his future and past.

She wore a Sith robe and it's hood was lifted over her head, concealing her facial features for the moment. Xilo would not know Darth Ayra as Alicia Drey. Not many had made the connection between her Sith personality and her real life out on Chandrila and the rest of the galaxy. She liked to keep things private. Suffice to say, Xilo would only know her as Darth Ayra. For now.

Since regaining his memories and claiming every single credit that had belonged to his father and the first place he went was Coruscant. It was like nothing he had heard about under the Empire's control, but that was the best part. He could feel the fear and urgency in all that still survived, it was refreshing and he did nothing but add to it. His time in the undercity was spent with him getting down and dirty with the lowlifes torturing and killing a handful of them. Today however he walked down the streets torwards the Sith temple. Xilo had been sitting in a bar when the messenger had found him.

"I'm a little ropo short and stout here is my foot now let me show you out." Xilo sung walking down the street while holding onto a black sack that had a red liquid dripping from it. Reaching the temple Xilo basked in it's beauty before skipping up the steps like a excited child going to school. Stopping when the women who had sent him the message came into view Xilo walked up to her and bowed performing a wild flourish with his hands at the same time. "My lady. Sorry about being late. Me and the messenger you sent were having so much fun." Xilo admitted a blush on his cheeks. "I brought him with me though." He said as he opened the sack to show the disembodied head of the messenger. "YOu know people say not to kill the messenger. But I believe you have to do it because it sends a message." Xilo stated as though what he had done was natural. "So um what did you want to talk about Miss... Um... Sorry I forgot your name. Mine's Xilo." He admitted in the manner of a child and offering his hand.

There were many ways to react when someone presented you the decapitated head of a man, especially one that served you. You could scream at the sight and run away in terror at the man you knew had murdered them. You could faint at the sight. Too many variables to remember. Darth Ayra simply went with a gut instinct. "You boy... need to be restrained."

Her hand lifted to lock a Force Grip around Xilo and it lifted up and then down to slam his head into the concrete, if she was successful in locking it around his body. Why did she do this to him? Well, hadn't he just presented her the head of a decapitated man? Wasn't that a normal reaction?

"Restrain!?" Xilo yelped eyes going wide with mock fear. Before he returned his face to normal a cocky smile sitting on his face as he combed his mohawk back. "Sorry but I'm not into bondage. I do know someone who could help you with that though." Xilo said before he suddenly felt a invisible force wrap around his body locking the young man in place before he was lifted off the ground. "Nooo! I'm scared of heights! Put me down!" Xilo yelled at the women laughter in his voice fear completely devoid in his eyes. Then he got his request his head hitting the stair but Xilo shifted his shoulder to where it took the brunt of the hit shoulder popping out of place he laid on the ground panting. Not from the pain, but from the joy it brought him.

"Ha!" Xilo said sitting up still a bit dizzy and blood flowing down the right side of his face. It was obvious his shoulder was popped out of place as the arm hung limply at his side. Looking over at the arm as though he didn't even know it was popped out of place he grabbed his shoulder forcing it back into it's socket. A sickening pop let Xilo know he had succeded. "Well that wasn't very nice." He aimed at the women still giggling like a child.

She would subdue the boy first, place him prison so as to learn about him and then break him. When broken, she would fix him again in her image, so that he could become useful. "Destruction breeds creation," Darth Ayra murmured as she vaulted off the top steps like a sprinter at the races. "If anything, this little monster has to be subdued before he becomes a menace."

When she arrived, she performed a K'tara strike to the boys neck, to try and pinch a nerve that would knock him out. If she was successful, she would then bring him to the bowls of the Sith Temple, confine him and then interrogate him for his past and actions. There, she would begin the process of his destruction into a new life, one of which he would serve her and the One Sith.

Xilo was busy wiping his eye that blood had fell into his attention completely drawn away from the women as he sat on the stairs. Most people would be angry or be ready to fight about what had happened but Xilo was completely calm the throbbing in his head comforting him unlike it would most people. The blood stained his white hair giving it a dted look of sorts with half of it wet and slick with blood. "Well I guess I'll be leav-" Xilo began to say as he stood and turned around to see the women flying at him. "See I knew you would come around." Xilo joked till Darth Arya nerve pinched him. His whole body stiffened with Xilo no longer in control of any part of his body his mind swimming he began to fall to the ground his legs going numb and his body collapsed to the ground. On the way down his yellow eyes stared into Darth Ayra's his showing no fear.

The Sith Lord caught Xilo on her arms, lifted him and turned into the temple without another word. Minutes later, security for the Sith Temple recovered the lost head and a recovery effort for the messengers body began. It was discovered in the lower echelons of the city two hours after the initial meeting between Darth Ayra and the boy she had incapacitated. Witnesses had been told to forget what they saw and the incident was covered up.

Hours later...

In the depths of the Sith Temple, miles underground, existed a dark room. There was no light and seemingly no walls. Of course, they were there, but couldn't be seen and were a while away from where Xilo Gale laid, center to the room. The floor would feel like concrete and it was hard. There was a freezing cold in the room, that was similar to that felt on the desert world of Korriban. It was almost like the dark side was right there with him, chilling him to the bone.

In the darkness, watched the hooded visage of Darth Ayra. Her hands were folded into either sleeve, with her yellow eyes on the fallen boy. She waited for him to awaken.

Bet you regret meeting that Sith now. The voice in Xilo's head said to the unconsious man his body spread out like a star on the stone. I suggest you try getting up. It offered Xilo still being ignored. I know you can hear me. It said before Xilo's upper half darted up. "Of course I hear you! I can't seem to get rid of you." Xilo shouted aloud his hand reaching up and rubbing where Darth Arya had did a nerve pinch on him. All around him he saw nothing just the dark. He couldn't even see his own hands. Wasn't to much a shock considering how his skin was close to obsidian in color.

Xilo did not get to his feet though but instead stayed sitting. "This isn't my first rodeo being held in a place like this." He admitted before he reached to his belt and unhooked one of the lightsabers he had taken from two jedi he had killed. Activating the weapon the blue blade sprouted out casting a small amount of light around him. Yea but last time we spent four years being tortured. The voice warned. "Yea I remember, but I don't plan on letting it happen again, and if it does nowhere near that long." He said making his way through the room the chill biting at his skin and sinking into his bones causing the man to shiver.

The Sith Lord watched in the darkness. The blue blade sprang to life, illuminating Xilo's figure. Through the light, he would be able to make out the hooded visage of the woman that had took him out with relative ease. "In darkness, you will be destroyed. Out of the dark, you will be reborn. Destruction breeds creation, Xilo Gale."

She moved. Darth Ayra was a practitioner of K'tara. The martial art relied on the ability to make movements that couldn't be heard. Subsequently, when she moved out of the hue of the Lightsaber, she disappeared completely from view and sound. That was two senses taken away from Xilo. Ayra circled around the boy. When she spoke, it seemed to be from far away from where he stood. "You have suffered. Tell me of your suffering."

When Xilo saw the women his first instinct was to attack her but he held off not thinking it to smart since she had took him out in one strike last time. "Sorry to disappoint you but I've already been destroyed once, and reborn. I don't think you can do it twice." Xilo said making his way in her direction but she had moved. For the first time since he regained his memories Xilo was scared, this women emitted the same dark aura that his father had but much more powerful. Xilo didn't have time to spend another four years if not longer being tortured.

Hands beginning to shake from remembering everything he had been through Xilo's eyes began to tear up. Deactivating the saber hiding his face from view so as to not satisfy the women he fell to his knees clutching his head. "What do you want?! You want to know my suffering? You want to know how I got these scars?! Huh?! Why so you can do the same thing?"

Calm down. Don't lose it. The voice warned but it was to late as the memories Xilo had suppressed came back causing the man to laugh uncontrollably. Though mixed in with the laughs were screams of pain and horror. Xilo's chest heaved as he remembered how his father shocked him with lightning, how he carved Xilo with a knife. All in the hopes of breaking the boys will. He remembered how he had once had black hair and blue eyes. He had been innocent. He had friends at one point. But look at him now. He had became nothing more then a mass murderer. He used what happened to him as a excuse for the way he acted. Finally giving in harsh breaths coming from him Xilo spoke. "I was tortured. Every day for four years I was sentenced to torture by my own father. All so he could take my body. Then I... I.. I killed him" Xilo whispered smiling through the tears. "I ripped his throat out with my teeth and watched him bleed, but he took the chance to try and take my body, I won that battle too."

"You have already been destroyed. You have suffered greatly. Here, within the void, you have become insignificant and weak. You are but a falling entity, washed away into the darkness, trapped within the void." She changed her position, so he could not follow her or attack. When she spoke again, it was in a different direction from before. "I am not your father. I do not want to hurt you. I have seen you, Xilo Gale. I know you. I have seen your destruction."

She moved again. "I too was down here, within the void. Darkness engulfed me, trapped me and choked me. I was a shell, until I too was rebuilt from the bottom up. You say that you were remade again, when you were destroyed by your father. But we know differently. You are still that shell, pleading for help. You are helpless."

She moved again. "You have murdered. You have maimed. You have caused others suffering. You did this to fill the void within you. Existing inside your soul is a monster. It raises it's head and when it does, you allow it to bite, just as it bit your father. The suffering that you have gone through, makes you want to cause suffering upon others."

She moved again. "Down here, in this dark room, I present you the metaphor of your existence. This is your world, Xilo Gale. You see, hear, taste, feel and sense nothing but dark. Now I am in this world."

The Sith Lord appeared beside Xilo. Her mouth near his hear. She whispered into it. "Will you try and destroy me, as he destroyed you?"

The words rang true and repeated themselves in Xilo's mind. It was almost as she was torturing him without laying a finger on him. She was dissecting his entire life as he had dissected hundreds of other people. But what she did wasn't physical. It was all mental, and it was working. Xilo kneeled in the center of the room looking up into the darkness wondering if what he had done was truly just so others could know his pain. But this women didn't want to hurt him. How could that be? Didn't everyone want to cause pain to others. Didn't everyone want to make someone suffer? Gripping onto his hair and pulling Xilo realized just how right she was. Everything he had done was to do nothing but make others feel like what he had.

This was mind shattering the understanding that Xilo had breaking beneath him as he fell into the dark abyss in his mind. Then almost out of nowhere he saw his father standing before him as the women whispered into his ear. "No I will not destroy you, I am better then my father." Xilo said his yellow eyes changing back to bright blue for a few seconds before returning to yellow. But during those brief seconds he said "I forgive you father, but I will never forget."

Without moving Xilo just spoke to the women. "So what if I have a monster in my heart. I can live with it, but what I can't live with is being beneath someones thumb. You promise me you won't hold me down and you can have me. But if you break this promise I will destroy you. It may not be tomorrow or even a week from now. But I will destroy you, and thats not a threat... It's a promise."

"There is also a monster inside me. It is inside all of the people in the galaxy. Some train to stop this monster from emerging from them. Others seek to destroy it. The Jedi are a people who do these things. But I am a Sith. I seek to use this monster for the good of the galaxy. The monster inside us, Xilo Gale, can be used to change and shape the galaxy to our own image."

The Sith Lord brought her hand out of, and inside it was a cylindrical object.

It snap-hissed into life.

Darth Ayra held her Lightsaber before her. It's crimson beam engulfed her image and it was oh so deadly. Her skin was contorted, broken, chalk white, showing it's degradation in the dark side of the Force. Her lips were the darkest red, like there was blood. Her eyes were yellow and predatory in vision. Strands of blonde hair were lit up around her body like an inferno. This was the monster she spoke of.

"You have the mind set of a serial murderer, coupled with sociopath tendencies. But you can be shaped into something greater, where your mind can be used to do something greater. I can teach you how to bend a man's neck or mind, to do the things you have envisioned yourself to do."

"But I will teach you harness your passions, to offer yourself the control you will need to destroy your enemies. Our enemies." The blade turned off. She disappeared back into the dark. "We will spend one month down here together, you and I. I will show you what the dark side is. When we emerge from this room together, back out into the light, you will have an understanding; and it will be that understanding that will carry you through life, so you do not do the mistakes you have done after your father's death."

"Down here, within the void, you have discovered a friend, an ally. One that will rebuild you into a better man. Down here, you will discover who you really are and not the person that your father tried to craft."

"Our image..." Xilo said hanging onto those two words as he thought about how he would want the galaxy to be. For one thing he wanted what had happened to him to never happen to anyone else, but another thing was he wanted a galaxy of peace, one where he was free to do as he pleased. Then his thoughts were broken by the sound of the women's lightsaber activating. Turning he looked up at the women seeing what she truly was. The yellow eyes, the pale skin it reminded him so much of his father but her's was so much worse. She was truly a monster.

The word shaped and crafted hung in Xilo's mind as they caused him great doubt, and gave him reason to not trust the women. He would not be some helpless pawn that did nothing but follow orders. Her had never been and never will be such a thing, but he could certainly play along, and if what she said was truly in his best interest Xilo would come to believe her. "Well if I'm going to spend a whole month down here with you, I might as well make the most out of it." Xilo said activating the blue saber and carving the number one into the ground at his feet. "Day one, so where do we start... My master." Xilo asked as he got to his feet and faced the women.

Ayra turned away from the boy and retrieve a candle from the back of the room, far away from where her new student was. When she returned, the Sith Lord brought out a light and ignited the end of the candle. Pocketing the light, the fire on top of the candle illuminated her features once more. Instead of the ugly, destructive facial features that had appeared in the hue of the red Lightsaber, here stood a beautiful looking woman. Her eyes lifted to Xilo.

"Now we begin our journey, together." She lowered herself onto the floor and placed the candle beside the 'one'. Her hands folded into her sleeves, as she looked upon Xilo. "Sit yourself down and fold your legs, like mine."

It wasn't the most exciting time of his life knowing he had to spend a month down in the depths of this place, but he now knew it was necessary. The promises the Dark lord made were to much for him to not give it a chance. It was his oppurtunity to become something more. More dangerous. Putting away the saber Xilo turned to see that Arya now looked completely different. She actually looked gorgeous instead of the horrifying image that would forever be etched upon his memories. One day he may end up looking the same. Maybe that was why his father truly wanted his body. So taking a seat across from Arya, Xilo did as instructed at first finding the position slightly uncomfortable. "So what is this journey we're going on?"

"Into your soul." Darth Ayra lifted her gaze from the candle light to Xilo Gale, eyes on his. They were yellow in origin, showing that the monster she spoke, and the one that he bore witness too before, was still there beneath her beautiful visage; and here he learned that her face was a facade to the monster that she really was.

"Have you ever heard the Sith code? It is an ancient text. Some Sith would bore you with the semantic of it's origins, but I won't. I'll tell you that if you follow each line of the Sith code, you will free yourself of the chains that bind you. Free, you will be able to do what it is you wish. This is the journey that we find ourselves on down here in this metaphor for the void that you are in. When we leave here, you will be free of that void. You will be a new man."

"Peace is a lie, there is only passion. This is the first line of the Sith code. It is the most important. It is the direct opposite of what the Jedi preach. It tells us that there is a monster inside all of us and that this monster does not want peace. All it wants is to murder, destroy and pillage this galaxy. You of all people know this to be true. The Jedi preach that there is no monster inside us. This is a lie. Their peace is a lie."

"We, the Sith, have learned to tame the monster. We know how to control it. We use it to shape the galaxy in our image. This is our passion, Xilo Gale. I seek to shape this galaxy into something better. Where men like your father do not do what he did to you or to any other child. The Jedi preach that they seek this too, but they lack the necessary resolve to do this. The monster inside us knows what to do. Men like your father deserved to be killed."

"The weak require subjugation and we, the Sith, exist to subjugate them. The galaxy is ours to rule and the monster inside us give us the tools, abilities and knowledge we both seek to use to do this. The monster within us encompasses the galaxy as a whole. It is called the dark side of the Force."

Our soul! The voice in Xilo's head screamed voice ringing through Xilo's mind like a siren. Yet Xilo kept a straight face ignoring the voice and focused on Arya's eyes as she looked into his. The memories of the monster she spoke of giving him chills. He knew what she truly was but he accepted it and one day he would probably look the same if not worse. "No I haven't heard it before, I tried to steer clear of force users for the most part." Xilo said before listening as Arya spoke. She spoke of how the jedi denied that everyone had a monster inside them. This angered Xilo to no end. When he had first met the jedi that had brought back his memories the first thing they did was try to take him with them thinking he was his father. They never asked, they acted without thinking. That's why they were dead now.

"Yes you seek to change this galaxy." Xilo said staying silent for a few seconds and letting the words sink in he opened his mouth again. "But can you honestly tell me that everyone you collaborate with wants the same thing? How do I know that some don't just want to destroy and engrave their names on history? All I know is what happened to Alderaan is no better then what my father did to me." Xilo spat the words leaking like vile from his lips.

"We, the Sith, accept that not everyone in this galaxy will follow our divine right to rule it. It is why for more than a thousand years, the Jedi, the people of the Republic and others have fought us, denied us our rights. We acknowledge the strength of our enemies and grow more powerful from it."

It led her into the second line of the Sith code. "Through passion, I gain strength. You have gained strength from what your father did to you. He brought out the beast inside you. In turn, the beast gave you the strength to murder and maim your past victims. It raised it's snout and using you, it bit, as you took a bite from him." Him indicating Xilo's father. "The pain and anguish we have felt can be used to empower us. These dark emotions feed our passions."

"Hatred, pain, suffering, anguish. Dark emotions that I will teach you of, all of which you have already felt. I feel hatred in bones. I have suffered pain. I have felt the denials and losses of loved ones; and I have felt anguish over them all. Even now, I am reminded of each and everyone. It feeds me the strength to continue in life. Such strength allows me to subjugate the weak, as we did on Alderaan."

"Alderaan was a Republic world. We are at war with the Republic. War entails the dark emotions I have spoken of for every and all. Only the insane do not feel pain, suffering or anguish when they murder another. Are you insane Xilo Gale? Perhaps, but down here, I will fix it so that insanity is purged from you, during which you assist me in my endeavors. Such is the symbiotic relationship between master and apprentice."

"We slaughtered the Jedi and the people that served the Republic on Alderaan because they stood against us. The Jedi teach that the strong must protect the weak. But we, the Sith, believed that the strong should rule the weak. It is a testimony to our beliefs that we won the Battle of Alderaan and now it's plains, cities and people add to our dominion and rule. Through our passions, we used our strength to subjugate Alderaan to our will, as it should be."

"What your father did to you was different from what we did to Alderaan. The Sith recognize that sacrifice will be necessary to bring true peace to the galaxy. Not the lies that the Jedi preach and the Republic espouse, but true peace. Alderaan is ours now. We will rebuild it. When the war is over and when we have won, the people of Alderaan will prosper under our rule. What your father did was a crime. We have committed no crimes. We seek only to perfect the galaxy."

"There will be subordinates under my will, members of the One Sith and beyond that will deny me my will. The strength that I am given by the dark side will allow me to subjugate them to my will. Strength allows me to make them do what I wish to do. It is the way of the dark side. The strong subjugate the weak and the weak follow. Only when one of these people display more strength than I, will they achieve a power over me. But I will endeavor to never allow this to happen, as you should for the people that will serve you one day. We must always remain the strong."

"And Darth Ayra must always remain the stronger in her relationship with Xilo Gale."

Xilo closed his eyes listening to what Arya said while memorizing every word she said, but he still felt as though this was all a farce. It seemed that all they truly wanted was power. That seemed to be what Arya was saying. Since there was no peace and only passion that means that they were supposed to give in to their base emotions. Most peoples base emotions are to have more power, but what if you already own the galaxy? What will come next? Following these urges they were doing nothing but placing themselves on top of thrones above all else. Xilo asked himself internally not voicing his thoughts. There was no point in it. He understood the general gist of the first line of the code. Could such a person truly bring about the greater good, would they even want to? What about the emperor that sat on the throne at this very moment? What were his true goals and motivations for the galaxy and trying to take it over. Xilo knew or at least thought he knew what Arya was aiming for, but the rest he had no clue about.

"Through passion I gain strength." Xilo quoted as he listened to what she said about it. IT proved what he had thought the first time was true. These base emotions that all these Sith fed off of is what granted them their power. Are these same emotions the things that cause them to look as Arya's true self had? A path of powr that also degraded ones body over time. Yet Xilo somewhat bought into what she said, no one would be able to do such things with a strong leader being above them all, but the part that stopped him in his tracks was how she said she must always be stronger then him. She had just told him of and then says that she must always be the stronger of the two. It seemed as if she truly wanted to keep Xilo forever beneath her thumb, to be his better. Use him as a tool. Something he would not allow to last. One day he would surpass her even if it took decades to accomplish. "Yes my master." Xilo said knowing he must keep his thoughts to himself, it was probably something she expected but he kept his face straight his eyes devoid of emotion.
