- Description: Yorshies are adorable and fluffy little canines originally from the planet Leritor. They're small enough to carry in your arms with ease their entire lives. They are playful little dogs who enjoy attention and good old TLC. Purebred Yorshies have either black and brown coats. Those that are not purebred, ones not born on Leritor, have multiple shades of their base color in their fur which is an indicator of them not being purebred. However, every Yorshi has two horns atop their heads and small claws on their paws.

[*]General behavior: Yorshies are simple little creatures. Throughout their short lives they experience a lot. As they are born very small, they are under the care of their mothers for several months until they are able to walk. Once they reach this level of maturity, they begin exploring their environment, playing with their siblings and other beings that they don't see as a threat. They're rather easily domesticated and, once they have an owner, they love them dearly for their entire lives.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Yorshi is a rather young species. Their origins date back only several hundred years ago on their home planet of Leritor. The human colonies began to domesticate the little canines as companions for their children. Their popularity started spreading to other parts of the galaxy, leading to people all over wanting their very own Yorshi. Soon, these animals were seen as luxury pets and only those with the means to catch wild ones or those with deep enough pockets to afford them are found with these animals at their sides. Throughout the years, these animals have spread very far throughout the galaxy and have had their bloodlines muddled up due to the different environments they've found themselves in. This is why the only true, purebred Yorshies are found on Leritor.
