[*]Wealth: Medium-The nearby farms and economic help from the crown and CIS means that the city has a decent wealth and economy, but lacks any real industry or means to be relatively rich in any way.
[*]Stability: High-Most of the population are those fleeing from the core worlds seeking a new home. A good amount of filtering used to remove certain criminals by the CIS has allowed many new residence to live free from most wrong doers and those that would cause problems. Although it it not effective to 100% and some issues are still present among the populous.
[*]Description: Rising out of the brown waste land plains of Sarpin Waste Plains stands the small but relatively modern urban city of Yorkisher, most of it's complexes being 2-3 stories buildings with the exception of the several large structures for public, governmental, economic and military use. The somewhat grey and dull look blending well into the brown waste land from which it is built upon, though has surprisingly clean and tidy streets.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Viceroy Building: This large sky scraper (Center) that serves as the main governmental building for the city and immediate area, housing prominent and decision making facilities, meeting rooms and more. Such also acts as the residence for these people along with the princess and guards.
Business district: A designated area with two major towers (Top Left) that serve as the main commercial and business district for the small urban center. Such being the area where companies set up businesses and store fronts, where basic shops and markets can be found along with bars and restaurants.
Black Cliff Space Port: The main and and properly recognized space port in Yorkisher where most of the cities trade flow comes in and out, shipping supplies on and food off world. Yes there are other small ports around the city and people are free to land where they like (within reason), but most of the major imports are directed into this complex.
Military Barracks: A smaller sky scraper (center next to Viceroy building) that acts as a base, operation center and more for the military regiments stationed in the city and the surrounding areas. The upper levels being more accommodations, officers, mess hall command center, etc with the lower levels being the armory, garage, R&D along with other more hands on jobs.
Central Park: A designate area in the middle of the city where the soil has been restored to a lush plain, featuring trees, a man made pond stream along with park and other public facilities. Such is one of the few present area's on world where their is a significant amount of rejuvenated land that is open to the public.
SECURITY
Medium: Yorkisher's main policing force is made up from members of the 1st Regiment of foot, as most members from that regiment are recruited from the city and farms and small communities. Along with that several basic security cameras and odd security check points dot the cityscape, enough for peace of mind but not to much as to seem authoritative.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
There is little history at the current time about Yorkisher as it is still a very new construct, being primary created to serve as a urban hub for refugees fleeing the core worlds after the fall or the GA. After talks with the Queen of Naboo concluded Chikako designating quite a large sum of money to speed up the construction of the small city, the large flat plains of the Sarpin Wastes being perfect area for the sprawling construct.
Aside from the major sky scrapers and specialized building the city mainly relied on prefabricated buildings and other infrastructure to make the bulk of the city. Such allowed for said city to be finished relatively quickly (a few months) compared to other cities that may take around a year at the minimum, the rather small size of the center and easy terrain to work with helping greatly in this.
