Through the use of business connections and access to funds the Tsukasa Gokudō purchased the production facility from a less successful independent competitor. After significant upgrades the company has been able to enter the automotive market through the mass production of a limited number of models, but intends to expand their list of products to include land & airspeeders as well as speeder bikes.

 • Classification: Elite Task Force
 • Equipment:
· Tsukasa Chūnin Combat Attire
· GA-03 'Shuriken' Hands-free Blaster
· Gokudō Vibro-blade

COMBAT INFORMATION
 • Availability: Rare
 • Deployment: Limited
 • Strengths & Weaknesses: The Gokudō Shinobi are masters of speed, stealth and agility, preferring to ambush targets or sneak passed defenses when possible. They are experts in melee combat and possess specialized training to use their signature 'Shuriken' blasters properly. Unfortunately, the same light armour and weaponry that gives them their strength is also the root of their weakness; they are ill-equipped for direct confrontations with an enemy and can easily be overpowered by heavier equipment.
 • Description: [Please describe your unit, how they came about, any special features, their training, and their tactical and/or functional application. This must be at least a paragraph in length.]

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

 • Canon Link: N/A
 • Primary Source:

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
 • Manufacturer: The Tsukasa Gokudō
 • Affiliation: The Tsukasa Gokudō
 • Model: GA-04 'Kamaitachi' Repeating Blaster Pistol
 • Modularity: None

 • Production: Minor
 • Material: Plasteel, blaster components.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
 • Classification: Blaster
 • Size: Small
 • Weight: Light
 • Ammunition Type: Power Cell
 • Ammunition Capacity: 150/cell

 • Reload Speed: Fast
 • Effective Range: Average
 • Rate of Fire: High
 • Stopping Power: Low
 • Recoil: Low
SPECIAL FEATURES
 • Plasteel frame construction makes it lightweight.
 • Compact design makes it concealable and easy to carry.
 • The weapon is fully automatic.
Strengths:

· Lightweight materials
· Compact design
· Rapid fire
· More quiet than slugthrower alternatives.

Weaknesses:

· Cheaply Produced
· No Semi-Automatic Option

DESCRIPTION

The Kamaitachi pistol, named after the spirits of the wind in ancient Atrisian culture, is an easily concealable sidearm that offers effective crowd-control. Looking to develop a weapon that delivered an impressive rate-of-fire without sacrificing discretion, members of the Tsukasa Gokudō hit the drawing board to come up with designs for a new repeating pistol. A slugthrower was originally considered for the concept, but was ultimately determined to be too loud and thus further resources would be needed to silence it. Instead, it was decided that production would begin on the current blaster variant. Though it offers little for penetration, the ease of carry and rate-of-fire make it ideal for street warfare.

Aesthetically the pistol is very simple and smooth, with no notably complex parts on the exterior. The plasteel body further emphasizes the smooth design with it's matte, plastic appearance while the barrel, heat sinks and heat-vulnerable internals are crafted from Dallorian Alloy. It is also apparent that the weapon was designed with near-human species of average size in mind, as larger aliens may have difficulty wrapping their hands around the body-integrated grip.

· Affiliation: The Tsukasa Gokud
· Demographics: Xiaolangzhèn is geared towards those of Atrisian descent, with most shops and services offering their home planet’s various spoken tongues as the primary languages. Despite some differences, members of the Jin species have migrated in over time due to the familiarity of cultures, along with others who have either found themselves there by circumstance or have purposefully sought to call the colourful under-city home.

· 75% Human (Atrisian)

· 5% Assorted Alien Races

· Wealth: Low – the community saw massive immigration following the dominion of Atrisia by the One Sith, followed by waves of refugees as a result of the Galactic Alliance's assault on the planet. The economy beforehand had been mediocre at best, but sustainable for the locals. With the sudden population boom, most of which being families devastated by the war, Xiaolangzhèn has become stricken with poverty.

· Stability: Low – in recent years Xiaolangzhèn has devolved significantly. Shanty towns crowd the streets between the once colourful and quirky Atrisian-inspired architecture, filled with impoverished refugees and degenerate scum. Many within have turned to petty crime to sustain themselves, making it a dangerous place for outsiders who lack obvious protection. Gangers run operations on the crowded streets of Xiao-town and trade protection for money and resources, but none dare interfere with the districts undisputed “top-dog”; Kyūshū Tsukasa and the Tsukasa Gokudō.

· Description: Soft neon lights through coloured paper lanterns line the narrow streets while strange symbols of foreign cultures occupy the signs and advertisements; peculiar smells and unfamiliar tastes fill the air from the many street vendors selling bastardized versions of ancient cuisines -- the crowded streets of Xiao-town are a bustling hub of culture and life all day and night. If it wasn’t for the constant danger, one might even call it charming.

POINTS OF INTEREST

Nai Shì (Neon Market)
wall_market_by_jordangrimmer-d6dn7zg.jpg

The heart of Xiao-town has always been the bustling Neon Market located at its center. The vibrant colours, foreign decorations and architecture, and exotic trinkets for sale or barter have attracted Coruscanti locals and travelers alike to the dense pocket of Atrisian culture for millennia, making it backbone of the entire community's economy. In more recent times much of the market's glory has deteriorated, replaced by crowded shanties and droves of poverty stricken Atrisian refugees. Nai Shì still has many shops and traders, but crime is at an all time high and the area has become considerably more dangerous for outsiders.

Atara-Kansai (New Kansai)
1rsnph.jpg

Despite it's name, Xiaolangzhèn has a considerable population of Atrisian of Kansai descent. Because of significant differences between the two cultures, the Kansai immigrants formed their own micro-community in the early years. Now, thousands of years later, Atara-Kansai stands out from the rest of Xiao-town as a compact and well maintained neighborhood in the district. New Kansai is famous within Xiaolangzhèn for it's food, offering many unique foods, such as traditional Yovshin pork and poultry dishes; a stark contrast to the popularity of seafood elsewhere in the urban center. Atara-Kansai is also home to Akachōchin; a high-end establishment and known hangout of the Tsukasa Gokud.

Akachōchin (the Red Lantern)
WgEkaf2.jpg

A public establishment for the enjoyment of all those who have the credits and courage to enter into a known business and hangout of the Tsukasa Gokud. The establishment offers VIP privileges to members of the criminal organization for the purpose of business meetings and/or recreational use of their desires. Refer to Akachōchin's codex entry for full details.

Gion Chiku
thomas-pringle-thomaspringle-infamous2.jpg

Arguably more popular than the Neon Market, Xiao-town's entertainment capitol is a pleasure district that can satisfy many tastes -- desirable and not -- and a hub of scum and villainy. From high end ochaya, to simple clubs, gambling halls and karaoke bars, to lowly drug dens and brothels, virtually any under-city wonder can be found within the sea of lights and music that spills out into the streets of Gion Chiku. Illicit substances, weapons and even lives can be traded like cards and if one isn't careful while exploring they may well find themselves in the prize pool of a Sabaac match.

Zhai'dào (the Narrows) [Read: 'jai-dao']
tumblr_nx9e4uedSs1si96eio2_1280.jpg

The Narrows is the nickname for the maze of winding back-alleys and corridors that connect the communities of Xiaolangzhèn together. Only a handful of legitimate roadways for speeders exist in Xiao-town's small slice of the lower levels, forcing most navigation to be done on foot through a labyrinth of grimy, congested corridors filled with dense crowds, gangers, beggars, lone merchants and who knows what else within the nooks and crannies. These areas are extremely dangerous to outsiders, and even locals find themselves in trouble if they take a wrong turn.

Běi-Mínkū (the Northern Slums)

The largest residential hub of Xiaolangzhèn. Originally a moderately maintained internal mega-building consisting of many apartment complexes where roughly 60% of the locals called home, the Slums have earned their nickname due to their condition in the more recent years. Ever since the mass immigration shanties have flooded the catwalks and platforms, with some even hang off the sides of other buildings; it seems wherever space is available there is someone willing to take the risk to escape the streets.

SECURITY

Security Level: Low

· Dangerous Reputation: because Xiaolangzhèn is a near lawless sector of Level 502 it carries a chilling reputation with it that keeps most from venturing in. It is known to harbor many undesirables, and looking the wrong person in the eye or walking where you're not supposed to while navigating the Narrows can have dire consequences.

· Gang Territory: many of the locals pay gangs for protection. While the gangsters and thugs of the Narrows may not like each other there's one thing they universally despise; outsiders.

· Gokud Stomping Grounds: if small-time goons don't scare you, the rumors of Xiao-town's own organized crime family just might. Whether out of fear or respect, they are the untouchables of the community and few would dare attempt to provoke them on their home turf.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The original Xialangzhèn was founded thousands of years ago by Xiaolang immigrants of the planet Atrisia who sought the luxuries and opportunities afforded by life on the Queen of the Core. Though Coruscant had always been reasonably fair and accommodating to the lifestyles of other species, the abundance of distinct cultural differences made adaptation difficult for the Atrisian newcomers. Many of the migrants found themselves too proud or reluctant to adopt Coruscanti traditions over their own, preferring to isolate themselves from the more jarring differences. This naturally caused the population to become intertwined with each other, over time forming a close-knit micro-community that allowed them to find comfort amidst familiarity while still benefiting from the pleasures the Republic's capital offered. Over the decades this pocket of Atrisian culture would come to be known by the name it is today.

Rebuilding itself time and time again from the galaxy's many turmoils, Xiao-town stands as a testament to the resilience of the Atrisian people, but as a fraction of it's financial former glory. Instead of wealthy Xiaolang families the city had mostly become the descendants of commoners from many Atrisian ethnicities who had been displaced from various conflicts over the ages. Rather than the richest, it was the longest spanning families that held the respect of the people and guided the community. Of course, the deterioration had taken its toll on the once pristine under-ways that made up Xiaolangzhèn and brought in undesirables, but the people persisted regardless.

When Atrisia became the subject of numerous conflicts the district saw yet another unexpected mass immigration, which filled its streets with refugees looking to escape the devastation of their home world. Now well overpopulated with poverty stricken exiles, Xiaolangzhèn has fallen further than it ever has before. Beggars and pseudo-merchants attempting to sell their skills and belongings fill the streets while crime is on a dramatic rise. The people of Xiao-town have been forced to look for any means sustain themselves through the hardships they now face.

 • Speed & Precision: the Tsuchinoko offers exceptional speed and handling, making it ideal for urban environments.
 • Small: because of it's size the Tsuchinoko can still be used in smaller passages, such as the Narrows of Xiaolangzhèn; the home turf of the Tsukasa Gokudō.
Weaknesses:
 • Minimal Protection: as a civilian speederbike it offers virtually no protection from attack and at high speed a collision is likely to be fatal.
DESCRIPTION

The Narrows of Xiaolangzhèn are infamous for their difficulty to navigate. Not only are they a twisting complex of Undercity back tunnels but they are rarely large enough to allow conventional speeders and ground vehicles access, forcing travelers to brave the maze on foot. Many of the Tsukasa Gokudō's operations inevitably trace their way back to Coruscant's famous Xiao-town, which is exactly what prompted the interest in the development of a maneuverable, fast and most importantly compact speederbike.

The Tsuchinoko, which gets it's name from a mythological snake-like creature of the Kansai continent on Atrisia, is a favoured mode of transportation within the Gokudō's Shinobi units. Manufactured exclusively for those associated with the organization, when spotted one can easily determine that the rider is either a member or a friend of the notorious criminal organization.

 • Cargo Capacity: Average
SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:
 • Armoured: the frame of the Dragon Turtle is plated with quadranium, which offers substantial protection from standard blaster fire and slugthrowers.
Weaknesses:
 • Bulky: the Dragon Turtle is larger than a traditional airspeeder due to the armoured plating and more powerful repulsors needed to propel it through the air.
DESCRIPTION

Sometimes business can be dangerous, legitimate or not. Whether it's moving high profile personnel through non-ideal neighbourhoods or having a meeting with questionable parties, it never hurts to have some armour between you and the outside world. When these concerns arise members of the Tsukasa Gokudō turn to their armoured transport speeder, the Lóngguī (meaning Dragon Turtle in the Xiaolang dialect). Pairing a sleek design with military-grade durability, it offers viable protection while maintaining a respectable, high-class civilian appearance.
