- Lick it up: Using the tail of an Amphistaff, the main body has been graphed into Mentyor's head, as well as adding various nerve bundles to provide an accurate, as well as a very acute sense of taste. A rather long tongue, this allows Mentyor to have various uses for it. Specifically being built with taste buds much like that of a snake, he can "taste" the air or the chemicals within the air or along a surface.
- Strongest muscle in the body: With the graphed tongue, it looses the ability to solidify completely like other brotheren of the amphistaff could perform. However, it instead acts as a very powerful and strong muscle that can be used in various ways. Holding items, and even strangulation of foes. The tip of the tongue is sharp enough to poke someone's eye out or even pierce skin.
- Kiss me: Covered in a bile that is liquid form of the Vongspawn virus, contact with this bile to the bloodstream, ingested, injected, or received through orifices such as eyes, ears, nose, or other soft skin contact, will be the various forms of transference of this virus.
- Immunity: While Mentyor has this virus within his body, he himself is immune to it to prevent him from receiving these growths. As such, he cannot be affected with it.
- Half-breed: While an ampistaff was used to create the tongue, it looses some of it's resistances to lightsabers and becomes a little weaker. While this is so the tongue can be shaped and moved and formed to fit inside Mentyor's head, this makes it likely that the tongue can be cut out from his head with a lightsaber, or a very powerful sword blow.
- Kiss, don't tell: While transference from Mentyor can be rather easily done through various means, if mentyor were to somehow "kiss" an ally, or someone he is not intending to infect, they can still become infected from this. It affects everyone.
- Immunity: The virus can be contracted, but it's not perfect. Force users can stave it off to possibly get a cure for it, and some may be immune to the virus all together. One never knows unless they try it.
- I can taste the Fart: With a very acute sense of taste, Mentyor's tongue acts much like a snakes tongue. Able to "smell" by having various chemicals in the air and then received by a secondary organ in the mouth that can send signals to the brain on what is what. While this is good, it is also bad. If there is an overload of chemicals in the air, it can over-saturate the air and thus overload his senses.
- Pollens: As with being a vong creation, it is allergic to baffor pollen. Being touched by it has the chance for swelling and possibly killing the biot. While at the same time, possibly swelling up and closing the air pathways of Mentyor's mouth.
Nasty, disgusting, and vile. Three words to describe the tongue that was crafted and created for mentyor as a weapon, and a sensory tool. Made from his master. it was just an additional piece to the puzzle to allow Mentyor to track down his prize. The tongue can work just as well, and in some cases, better than your average tongue in a near-human.
Able to have heightened sense of taste to the level of being able to "smell" the air and the ground around him, it is also a useful tool for torture on subjects due to the vongspawn virus. Threatening them with it, and then "promising" to give the cure once they answer him. Or be a tool of agony and pain or even death to be able to choke someone with the length and girth of the tongue.
