YHARWOD RURAL MARSHAL SERVICE
All the information you need on the Yharwod Marshals!

ABOUT
The Yharwod Rural Marshal’s Service is The Yharwod Society’s Professional Law Enforcement & Military Organization. Comprised of 29 of the community’s best & brightest, these full-time Frontier Law-men & women are responsible for the safety & security of every being within the community’s borders.
These individuals are on-call at all times, prepared to mobilize & defend not only the main farm complex, but 94 Million acres of land & numerous shelters spread out across it from any threat - including (but not limited to) poachers, predators, and natural threats such as fires or floods. They are the most well-trained, respected, and trusted members of the Yharwod Society. In-terms of Rank, all members of the Marshals’ Service out-rank members of the Reserve Forces and are likewise to be respected.

The Yharwod Rural Marshals’ Service is organized by three distinct ranks: Deputy, Supervisor, & Marshal - each with defined responsibilities:
DEPUTIES

Tasked with upholding Order across the territory, each Deputy is entrusted with arms which they are required to maintain and keep secured. Deputies are spaced evenly throughout the different shelters, with at least one Deputy per; in the event of total chaos and a lack of command structure, deputies are expected to organize with their bunk-mates and take charge of their personal safety. 21 Deputies, at present, make up the bulk of the Marshals’ Service, and each possesses certain skills & training which make them a highly effective fighting force.
SUPERVISORS

Supervisors are tasked with organizing their teams & performing administrative functions which contribute to the overall success of both the Service & the Society in-general. Supervisors are expected to adhere to a strict code-of-conduct & professionalism, placing their duties above all other considerations, and closely monitoring the state of the farm and its’ members for signs of burnout, exhaustion, injury, and any other conditions which might effect the over-all safety & security of those in their charge. Supervisors & Deputies both are responsible for ensuring all 200 members of the Yharwod Reserves are proficient with the Society’s armory of weapons and capable of defending themselves against any eventuality.
MARSHALS

Marshals are the highest-ranking, most effective members of the Service, and are therefore the most well-trained. Their responsibilities often take them far from daily life on the farm; rather than performing administrative functions or a supervisory role, Marshals often single-handedly roam the Epican Wilds - trekking across the Yharwod Society’s 94 Million Acres alone or in small groups, directly engaging known threats, and taking a more active role in the protection of the Community. At any time, Marshals may requisition a small number of Deputies to assist them in their operations; to do so is often risky but rewarding, as one’s actions on the frontier can either lead to an official commendation or the grave.
