Yesukhei Khaan

{(YESUKHEI | KHAAN)}
“Not even a mighty warrior can break a frail arrow when it is multiplied and supported by its fellows. As long as you brothers support one another and render assistance to one another, your enemies can never gain the victory over you.” -Genghis Khan

{(STRENGTHS)}
{(Panathan Blood)} Being half-Epicanthix, Yesukhei benefits from a larger, more stronger build that most of his fellow Kagan and even most humans. Sometimes, his mere size is enough to terrify his enemies. His mother's genes also gives him enhanced resistance to mental attacks such as mind tricks and mental persuasion.

{(Horseman)} Like all Kagan-Jin, Yesukhei was raised to become a great rider of horses and steeds. He prefers to ride beasts, but will also take a speederbike if necessary.

{(Leader)} Much like his half-brother, Yesukhei has the qualities of a leader. He is also far more diplomatic with other cultures than his brother ever was, as Yesukhei realizes his seemingly vast holdings are but a single speck on the galactic radar.

{(WEAKNESSES)}

{(Giantsbane)} Although he is a great warrior and equally a large man, the newest Khaan trades off agility for his profound strength. It is the classic case of the quick and nimble out pacing the slow and sturdy. This could prove

{(Barbaric)} While more hospitable than his predecessor, Yesukhei is still, for all tense and purposes, a Kagan. He is, in all likelihood, going partake in customs that are violent, distasteful, or otherwise considered uncivilized by most other galactic citizens. In other words, he may come off as off-putting to others he meets.

{(PERSONALITY)}
Yesukhei Khaan is a rather different man than his violent, extremist half-brother. While no less a warrior, he is willing to seek out options that need not unnecessarily spill Kagan blood, but does not shirk from it either. At first glance, he may come off as intimidating, but can prove to be quite jovial to those he considers allies. Yet, his enemies should tremble in fear, as he is not a man who takes being crossed so nicely. He has been known to bring death to entire families of a single person who has given him a grave insult.

{(BIOGRAPHY)}
It is said great leaders are born in the most incredible of circumstances. Nothing could be more true the the night that Yesukhei was born...

The son of the same father that bore Temujin Khaan, and later Altani Khataan, he was born differently than his half-siblings. Firstly, his mother was an Epicanthix who could have otherwised passed for human, an explorer that had been taken in by the Kagan in her travels. Among the Kagan, it is not unheard of a man to take more than one bride, nor the half-siblings spawned from such unions to be raised as equals. Yesukhei was born during the night of a great thunderstorm that brought havoc to the countryside. As if ordained by the spirits, the storm ceased upon the child being free of the womb. Also, strangely, the boy had been born with a lightning-shaped birthmark on his face that he later tattooed over. From this birth, the shaman who midwived his birth called him the "Son of Storms".

With his great size, he was a fairly obvious choice as a laborer on their clan's farm. Yesukhei was given a classic Kagan upbringing, including how to fight and how to ride. His life, however, was soon about to change. He was among the first to join up in his brother's rebellion against the Yu, eventually becoming one of the Eternal Horde's high-ranking lieutenants. The Son of Storms was know for being a fair fighter, and always in search of a challenge.

With his half-brother's death by an unexpected sickness in his heart, it was by right that Yesukhei was delcared the new Khaan of the Eternal Horde, and thus the regent of their homeworld: Tiantang. With it, he was granted all of his brother's possessions, and the chance to re-wed Temujin's prime consort, the former Princess Zheng-Mei. With the Horde under his rule, Yesukhei intends to take a more diplomatic approach with the other inhabitants of the galaxy, without comprimising the warrior ideals of his people. He one days wishes to see a galaxy where his holdings are worthy of recognition by the other emperors, kings, and chancellors among the stars. Firstly, he wishes to honor the relations his predecessors created with the Atrisians, devoting himself to being a strong ally to the Commonwealth.
