Yavin IV: Bushwhacking a Path (Ask Before Joining)

The bright red gem of Yavin loomed in the sky over the man. Steam rose from the ground and lingered in the air. The Heat and humidity of the jungle was enough to choke a Rancor, but it was survivable, and that was the point, survival. The man was a broad shouldered thing but he was also a commando and despite his size he moved silently through the dense underbrush. He didn't wear his full armor this time, no this was about an armor of a much different kind. This trip to the Jungle where [member="Ember Rekali"] had tought him Djem So was about a much more powerful kind of armor, the internal kind. He wore skins like a primitive hunter, his feet bare and only his beskad and lightsaber as weapons. He was he to learn what it really meant to trust the Manda and what path he was really on.

Somewhere On this planet were ruins and bases and creatures of many kinds. The man Jasper Ordo was here to make his own place, find his own way, and maybe learn a thing or two.

MEANWHILE....

The smell of one strong in the force had come to Yavin Four and the darkness in the galaxy swelled again. So while our friend Ordo was stalking his future, a hunter began stalking him.

Ordo moved slowly through the under brush his eyes scanning the jungle as he moved. Mud had splattered his face, legs and arms in places. The humid air still thick as he found tracks in the soft ground at his feet. He sniffed the air as a flock of birds shot skyward and turned west away from the area. Birds were funny creatures. They flew in a distinct way to avoid predators, and those birds were convinced they were escaping a predator. Ordo slowly ducked lower to the ground until he lay flat and then crawled over a small bank. The water below was cold and shallow but it would help hide him as he moved farther up the trail and prepared to double back. He was here to test himself and when he left he planned on being the top of the local food chain.
