• Blade colour changes depending on the mood of the user, this is mostly a subtle effect that would go unnoticed by someone unfamiliar with the blade. The blade is typically blue but shifts in hue just a little bit based on the strength of the most dominant emotion

• Unyielding Embrace: This crystal requires dedicated meditation to bind it to the user's presence. This makes it a weapon useless for sharing as someone trying to use it what has not connected will find it heavy and unwieldy. A dark sided person may even eventually shatter the crystal if they persist in fighting it.
  
  
• One setting only: A lightsaber is a very destructive weapon and is very impractical as a non-lethal or utility option.
  
  
• Moodstone: The crystal is bound to the user's innermost intentions and the blade it produces will change hue if the user experiences particularly strong emotions in any one direction. This is usually only subtle variations but emotions strong enough to be unbecoming of a Jedi might be betrayed by this effect.

A friend of Tasia won a very special crystal at a charity auction that was going on whilst she celebrated her knighthood into the Order of Shiraya, she had had her mind set on this gem as a gift for her defacto little sister, her learner Yasima Zyntra of the same village as her. This gem was to represent the bond between them as they ventured into the Order of Shiraya together and she spent a lot of time working on the saber for her newly anointed padawan.

When finished she gifted the beautiful blade to the younger woman who adores it. The moonstone effect of the blade is a little bit of a betrayer for the teenager, but she has a positive mindset and sees it as a challenge to keep her in check in front of her master. It is otherwise a very pretty and well made lightsaber that works within the force to enhance Yasima's abilities.
