XR-617 (Is a character like this valid?)

Sorry if any of you are just now seeing this, but I will be using this character after Cakes and Daggers wraps up.

Name: XR-617
Faction: (The Deletion of mine is pending, joining One Sith afterwards)
Rank: None
Species: Sith War Drone (What I'm wondering if is valid, at least part of it)
Age: 7 years since created.
Sex: None (It's a droid. :p)
Height: 5.8 feet
Weight: 370 lbs.
Eyes: Red
Hair: No hair
Skin: No skin
Force Sensitive: No
---------------------------------------
Strengths and Weaknesses
-------------------------------------
STRENGTHS:

Built on armor: A set of metal armor is attached to it, making it more tolerant to fatal attacks.
Semi-Sentient: He his able to feel some emotions, but most of them involving killing or ruthlessness.
Decisive: He has a cape attached to his armor, able to wrap around his entire body. There is also a hood, able to cover his face. This allows him to potentially find out information about the enemy, etc.

WEAKNESSES:

Easily spotted in a crowd: Because of his cape and color, he's basically a grasshopper in an anthill.
Weak on the inside: He was built from an old, broken droid, and no parts were thrown out. New armor was just added on, meaning if you take out his outer armor, he's quite fragile in that spot.

Appearance:

XR-617 is a quite skinny droid with a slick, curved in head. There are multiple small, red lights going up his head to make him seem more intimidating. He has a black cloak attached to the front of his neck. (Detachable) At his side is a small, built in holster with an unused lightsaber. He wishes to learn to use it, as he did not obtain the ability to when he was created.

Biography:

About 30 to 35 years ago, a middle-aged man recovered a broken down droid from Tatooine, taking it back to his own workshop. He spent years trying to recover this droid, finding the perfect armor for it, creating it's (unused) lightsaber, and most of all, repowering it. He was determined to make something that would make a significant change in Tatooine.

After 20 long years of blood, sweat, and tears, he finally managed to bring back life to the old machine. It was rewired to- well- not kill him or anyone around him. Sadly, the man died in his 60's of natural causes, leaving the Droid unable to use his lightsaber. As he was semi-sentient, he set off to find someone to help train him how to use the lightsaber.

Ship: None

Kills: None

Bounties Collected: None

So guys, I was wondering if this is valid, and if this droid is able to learn how to use a Lightsaber, or if it's just not possible. Thanks for reading!

Doctor Azure

Ah, alright. That was one of the main things, because there's this picture: Sith War Droid (Can't get the link, just look it up if you can. :p) And it was a droid with the lightsaber. It was... interesting, and I wanted to see if there was anything actually like it.

Oh, I mean, MagnaGuards were programmed for swordplay and stuff so I don't see any real problem. Some people would bug you about an NFU starting out with the ability to use a lightsaber, though.

Personally....I see nothing wrong with a droid, battle droid, having the understanding of using a lightsaber. If you look at other character sheets, most that create Sith Acolytes/Jedi Padawans know more than one lightsaber form....my opinion on that doesn't matter....but I say go for it. Slice, hack, cut, chop. stab your way into the legendary halls of the Sith. :)

Darth Erebos

XD That'd be awesome. Just tell me whenever you're free, and we can start a private rp, I guess. Never done one before.
