Again going back to my original statement that it is risk to carry that. If I force pull the pin, it would trigger immediately before you can throw it.

If its ammunition (which mine would be) is hallucinogens then my armor would filter it thus nulling the fact you did anything at all, and that gas would linger there, so you'd still get hit with it eventually.
