"And how was your day?"

Elle had just watched Sylvia Virtos Sylvia Virtos walk through the door, herself sprawled out tired on the couch under a massive throw blanket. Sweats and loungewear was the name of the game today, she'd been out making a run through the city as a bit of exercise but nothing too spectacular had been up, not in a long time either. Work was an end of the week affair for the blonde, something that offered a little difference in their day-to-day schedules but kept things from being a little too monotonous. Needless to say it was the beginning of the week and a little jogging and searching for a patch of grass in a concrete jungle wasn't exactly productive, nor gripping, material for her - the tech-loving woman that walked through the door, on the other hand, was the center of her attention the moment she was around.

"Oh, I cleaned the place while you were out. Also.."

She shifted a little, looking like she was trying to find the right position to get however more comfortable than she already was that would satisfy her, but gave up and decided to sit up instead. "I've been thinking," Elle said, glancing towards the lightsaber she had up on the wall and then back to Sylv. "Vacation? I know we go out from time to time, but maybe I just.. I don't know, maybe a little excitement?" She asked. It wasn't entirely unlike her, Elle had always been a little claustrophobic on Denon and the two of them knew that - they'd gone picnicking on an entirely different planet before because there never seemed to be a big enough patch of green to keep the neon and grey out of sight and mind. This was different however, though it didn't seem like it was anything negative or worrisome based on the look on her face.

There was something midway between curiosity and something that leaned towards the same tired look she had whenever she came back in from a long run. Boredom? No, maybe just tired. "A beach, maybe?"

She shifted the blanket over a little to run the fingers of her right hand through her messy hair, grinning stupidly.

"You can pick out the bikinis."

Hello, I got places to be
Like me next to you
And you next to me

Oh, it was like a warm blanket was being wrapped around her after a cold day every single time she stepped past the door frame and heard that voice call out to her. For everything Sylvia loved, only that cozy-looking girl on the couch could shake the burdens of an exhausting day off her shoulders so effortlessly. It was the perfect remedy after hours of meetings with unbearable people who barely bothered to hide their questionable motives and assumed Sylvia's morals were for sale. It had been one of those days and the look in her eyes, despite it brightening up, reflected that. If Ellie had expected anything other than an involuntary smile directly aimed at her before her woman even bothered to take off her jacket, though, she would have been dead wrong.

"Hey Ellie," Sylvia said as she approached the couch, her bag already discarded and her jacket being unzipped on her way there. Her answer would only come after leaning in for a kiss. "Tiring, very, very tiring," like most meeting-filled days. After wrestling her way out of her jacket and dropping in on the couch she went to sit down herself. That was only for a blink of an eye, though.

"Ope, you did-" Ellie bringing it up and she herself realizing the place was indeed much tidier than how it looked that morning made her about catapult back up to neatly hang it up instead, picking up her bag along the way to stash that away too. "You're the best!" she exclaimed before turning back towards the couch. It did not take long after sitting down for her to scoot right up to the blonde.

"I've been thinking," Elle said,

"Mhm? What's up?" Sylvia much rather listened to whatever it was Ellie had on her mind than give any thoughts of the people she had to meet today any more light of day. A sentiment that only became stronger when the subject matter was revealed. Now that Sylv was sitting comfortably it was easy to see she wasn't the only one who was dealing with exhaustion. "A vacation?" she replied inquisitively, though it somewhat seemed like Ellie believed a bit more convincing was required.

"You can pick out the bikinis."

"You already had me on vacation, you didn't need to convince me any further," Sylvia replied with a smirk that said more than a thousand words. "But I'm holding you to that now." Suddenly, all of the earlier annoyances of the day no longer bothered her.

"So, any place in particular you're thinking of?"
