A pair of outfits for Xiaoyu to keep her safe while working abroad and at social functions, both are simple, practical, and functional, though use differing materials to elevate Xiaoyu’s party outfit above everyday clothing. Chuchi used white karlini silk for this outfit, trusting in its blaster resistant nature and ability to defy stains while staying light and comfortable for long-term wear while backing it with the protective kaldrweave. Pairing with it, the rest of the outfit and its accents are composed of shimmersilk to draw the eye by adding bright colors and flowing lines.
For Xiaoyu’s working outfit, Chi layered tunics over a voluminous skirt with wide internal pockets that allow the healer to stash away plants she’d collected or other tools of her trade. Each layer is made from a lightweight kryocote krillium blend for durability in the field and backed by more kaldrweave for protection and comfort across a range of environments. As an outer layer, the kryocote krillium also adds extra UV protection and cooling to Xiaoyu under even the harshest of suns, while acting as antimicrobial protection, slowing the spread of bacteria as she works.
