Description:
Exploring new grounds in the Tibanna markets, Tenloss has created a new strain of the so-called ‘blaster gas’. The gas, named Experimental Gas One or XG-01 for short, is a mix of standard Tibanna gas and small amounts of other, natural gases found throughout the galaxy.
The gas is a greyish-green or yellowish-grey in color and operates like any traditional gas. XG-01 follows the same profile as typical Tibanna gas, but with one major exception. The gas is entirely inert until electrical impulse, not heat or pressure, is applied. Once electrical current is applied, the gas seems to hold the charge for a time, usually only a few minutes until the charge disperses or gas makes contact with a solid surface.
The gas shows potential in both weaponized and non-weaponized forms. Non-weaponized, XG-01 shows promise as a psuedo battery or perhaps a form of conductor. Weaponized, the gas mix has potential to be used as an alternative to ion weapons, as the charged gas performs identically to projected ion particles.
