Strengths:

• Automated. Highly autonomous and automated. The Xena-class has no need for organic crews, but has an assortment of pebble drones for security and maintenance. The Y1 and Y2 droid brains and lattices ensure for rapid information transfer and almost instantaneous reaction capabilities.
• Armament. It can dish out quite a lot of pain.
• Hyperdrive. Very speedy and is very capable of chasing down its targets.

Weaknesses:

• Automated. Any critical damage has the potential of neutralizing the frigate as there aren't any organic crew members on-board. It must rely on automated repair protocols or attempt to return to the nearest Didact drydock for repairs otherwise.
• Ion: While it has some buffers, if the shields go down the Xena is highly susceptible to capital-grade ion fire.
• Hangar: No hangar whatsoever, it can only rely on its own weaponry and defenses. If something happens to its emplacements it has no fallback.
• Emplacements: The vast majority of its arcs are aimed forward in a v-shape with only limited swiveling abilities. There is a distinct blind spot for armament when it comes to its behind.

Description: Another piece of the Didact navy puzzle is the Xena-class Automated Patrol Frigate. The Xena is another experiment in highly advanced automated designs that can act autonomous without organic interference. They are outfitted with a network of Y1 droid brains and Y2 Crystal lattice to ensure an optimal transfer of information and processing speed, which makes them highly capable to process and react to any measure of threat.

Adding to that is very fast hyperdrive with a HIMS attachment. This plays into its design focus of chasing down pirate threads and other outlaws, ensuring the Xena avoids being caught in a interdiction trap. That doesn't avoid it from being trapped in an active interdiction field once it leaves hyperspace, of course.

This combined with the heavy armament makes the Xena a formidable threat.
