  • Shapeshifting: Thanks to the Shi’ido’s extremely pliable physiology, Xaz has the ability to change form and mimic nearly any object or being.

  • Telepath: Shi’ido possess a form of telepathy enabling them to project false impressions upon those of other species as well as the feeling that they had the same exact scent as that particular species. This allows Xaz to cover up any inconsistencies with transformations.

  • Resistance: Shi’ido are known for having a natural Force resistance. Influencing them with the Force is a difficult task at best.

  • Size disadvantage: When Shi’ido attempt to increase their size to too large a degree, they could end up stuck in that form for several weeks to a few months.

  • Overconfident: Xaz believes him/herself to be ultimately infallible and may undertake ludicrous tasks that will obviously lead to ruin and defeat.

Appearance
Xaz’s appearance is exactly what Xaz wants it to be. There are a few forms that get used more than others as aliases and personas are established around them, but Xaz is by no means restricted to just those. In their natural forms Shi’ido were humanoids with pale skin, wide mouths and deep set eyes. It is however a rare form to catch Xaz in. With detachable tendons that can be moved about the body at will combined with the ability to change mass, Xaz likes to change it up.

Biography
Xaz was born on the Shi’ido homeworld of Lao-mon. This was where Xaz, like all the other Shi’ido children started developing their affinity for shapeshifting and telepathy. Xaz excelled, and even surpassed many of the older children. This was not a trend that was broken. Xaz continued to grow, not reaching any peak. It was said Xaz was destined for greatness. While some resented Xaz for accomplishing seemingly effortless what others worked hard to achieve, many admired him. This, of course, all went to Xaz’ head.

Xaz became quite arrogant with a highly inflated ego. The young Shi’ido was learning that whatever goals were set they were always accomplished. Whatever trouble might arise was always somehow evaded. With absolutely no concerns for any consequences, feeling untouchable, Xaz grew into quite the carefree hedonist.

Lao-mon simply was not big enough. Curiosity grew to become too much. There was a great need to explore, discover, enjoy the rest of the galaxy. Though it was a big decision to make, it was one never regretted. It seemed to squander a lifetime by not travelling the galaxy, to miss all the beautiful locations on various worlds, to never experience the unique and exotic foods and alcohol made all over the universe. Naturally, Xaz felt entitled to it all. With the specific talents gifted by nature Xaz could experience life in a way that none of these lesser beings trapped inside the same body for a lifetime ever could. The galaxy was ripe for the taking.
