Description: Desperation is the mother of creativity, or it is in this case. The need for this prosthetic arm comes from Xavka’s desperate need to replace his left arm. Forged by Xavka himself from Durasteel, the arm conceals a surprise. Keeping in mind his duties as an Assassin when forging this arm, Xavka incorporated a hidden blade within the forearm of the arm. When triggered, the blade will emerge from the top of the forearm and reach past the hand, so long as it is clenched into a fist. To prevent damaging the hand of his new prosthetic from the blade triggering when the hand is in the way (and to get around problems such as carrying things), Xavka installed a safety measure that prevents the blade from triggering whenever the hand isn’t clenched. To trigger the blade, a pressure pad on the heel of the hand must be compressed for two consecutive seconds.
Accepting that in the age of chaos that filled the galaxy he was going to cross blades with a wielder of a lightsaber and that, as plain Durasteel, his arm would be weak to a lightsaber, Xavka planned to destroy that weakness. Taking advantage of the fact that the Sith, then known as Darth Ferus, would be training him in Alchemy, Xavka had the cybernetic arm used as a practical example in the lesson. During the lesson, the ability to resist lighsaber and blaster fire was imbued into the arm.
Strengths:
-Resistant to Lightsabers and Blaster Fire.
-Contains a hidden blade.
Weaknesses:
-The arm (and blade) can be weakened, or function at less than peak efficiency, if not properly cared for.
-The arm can be largely neutralised if an EMP is used near by.
