SPECIAL FEATURES

• Medical Intelligence: Much like the rest of the Xarnait range the 1M model features a relatively sophisticated droid brain, programmed with extensive medical knowledge on various procedures and species-specific ailments. Additionally they are outfitted with dedicated analytical and medical diagnostic computers that feed sensor data directly into the droid brain without it needing to actively examine the patient in question, making them far quicker to act and discern the most likely and severe injuries or conditions in need of addressing.
• Medical Backpack: Though more of a built in storage compartment, the Medical Xarnait models come equipped with a dedicated "backpack" loaded with various medical supplies to offer first aid and even basic medical care without any facilities necessary. Everything from simple bandages and disinfectants to suture supplies, Bacta dispensers, and even antidotes for common ailments and poisons.

STRENGTHS

• Engineered First Aid: There are few medical issues that the XN-1M Droids aren't equipped to diagnose and make progress on treating. They are designed to recognize most any injury or ailment and outfitted with various medical implements and supplies that can service them, making them essentially mobile field hospitals in spite of their intention as mere first aid medics. They can also operate with a fair amount of efficiency in more dire medical situations and circumstances such as surgeries or triage, though of course this isn't their intended purpose.

WEAKNESSES

• Too Prepared: The sheer level of outfitting that is necessary to properly supply the Xarnait 1M droids is somewhat daunting given the variety of equipment, while most of it can admittedly be found in standard medical packs and first aid stations there are still dedicated medical equipment that can be difficult to spare for droid assignment depending on the circumstances. Additionally the more sophisticated construction of the droids in general necessitates thorough maintenance in order to keep operating at full efficiency, making them more ideal for proper field hospitals rather than battlefield medics.

DESCRIPTION
With Bacta beginning to gradually become a steady supply for the Order of Wonosa due in large part to the Zeyurlirza Cruisers and other medical chemicals and equipment quickly becoming more available via Nostrum Treatments Incorporated growing wealthier and having more access in the markets of the Outer Rim and Wild Space, dedicated medical droids were an idea that soon became reality within the Wonosan ranks. Of course they had a bit of standardization already, mostly cheaper medical droids which had been recovered from pirates and criminal gangs that had been modified and reprogrammed, however there wasn't any one dedicated medical droid for their forces and certainly not one that they could provide in their medical services abroad.

The Xarnait series would thus be expanded with its most exotic model line yet, the XN-1 Medical droid. Much like its previous iterations and existing models, an advanced droid brain would be a standard feature of this medical droid. Loaded with modern medical data sourced from both experienced medical professionals and public databases then equipped with a varied arsenal of treatments and supplies, the XN-1Ms are designed to handle almost any medical crisis with a clinical and efficient proficiency that allows them to save lives and keep wounded patients alive and eased in their pain and ailments.

While the vast majority of these droids are of course allocated to Wonosan forces and hospitals, through their corporate mask of Nostrum Treatments Incorporated these droids are slowly beginning to be seeded out to the wider galaxy so that their medical services and expertise can be utilized by any who need them. Though naturally such seeding efforts are primarily focused around the Outer Rim and Wild Space worlds that are eyed for eventual Wonosan expansion and influence.
