- Busy Bee: Bumblebees can be used for a wide range of engineering-related duties in space or in atmosphere, including but not limited to mining, maintenance, construction, and even starship assembly; in the latter capacity, entire swarms may see deployment in shipyards.

There were numerous advantages to utilising the labour of organic sentients, but equally many disadvantages - droids were not often at the forefront of innovation or creativity, but they made up for that failing with consistent, precise labour and a willingness to work without breaks or compensation.
As an added benefit, their accidental destruction would do little but upset the bottom line - no public outcry, no sudden drop in morale.
Designed to take full advantage of these strengths while compensating for any shortcomings through unfailing adherence to the intricacies of any instruction, the humble Bumblebee is capable, resilient, manoeuvrable, and thoroughly scrubbed of anything even remotely resembling independent thought. While assigned in great numbers they are often managed by a GMC or other AI, though organic supervisors are equally common.
The Globex Corporation itself most commonly deploys them to orbital shipyards and planetside construction projects.
