X-Factor is a group of writers who will be involved in a Force Mutant story line. Force Mutants are currently awaiting staff approval as a species, but the general idea is that a mutant is someone whose midichlorians are mutated and it effects their abilities in the Force. The mutation offers a heightened ability but it cuts off all other Force abilities. The mutated ability is also extremely difficult to control, meaning mutants are often dangerous and unpredictable. Casualties happen and accidents are frequent so naturally a lot of people are anti-mutant. Others however believe that the galaxy can all live together peacefully. You've seen the X-Men films right?
