Gray Paladins are Jedi warriors who have forsaken the traditional ways of utilizing the Force User's most favored weapon, the lightsaber, in favor of using blasters and their kind. Losena had the need for a pair of her own, and the X-59 Wraiths are the perfect pair of pea shooters.
The Wraiths are a pair of blasters that fire particle beams, powerful, yet unstable beams of energy that come with some serious bang for their buck. Each bolt tends to explode upon contact, making it nigh impossible to defend with a lightsaber, giving Losena an edge over force users. What makes the Wraith special is, instead of traditional gases used for blaster pistols, the Wraiths use trauger gas, a very toxic gas known to cause some serious health problems in organics. normally not an advocate for the use of chemical weaponry, Losena could not help but see the potential benefits of using the Wraiths in combat situations to get an edge over her foes.
