SPECIAL FEATURES

• Honed by Svolten Rhyolite: Sharpened using ancient Sith alchemical techniques, the blade will never lose its edge unless chipped or damaged by a blade or weapon of equal make.
• Reversed Polarity: The molecular structure of the blade's ore has been altered so that the blade acts as though magnetically sealed and can be used to reflect away coherent beams of light such as plasma or laser beams and other particle weaponry. Like all Sith swords, Wyrmfang can parry a lightsaber.

STRENGTHS

• Blood Quenched: Wyrmfang, as with nearly all Sith swords, was forged by quenching it in blood spilled in anger. A hundred people perished to quench this blade five times over. The Dark Side thus resonates within the blade itself, lending the wielder a deep reservoir of power to draw upon and making them a walking nexus of Dark Side energy.
• Capacitor: The Sith sorcery upon the blade enables it to act as a capacitor for lightning, whether Force Lightning or Electric Judgment it matters not. It can store the energy and then release it back twofold on the wielder's command.

WEAKNESSES

• Force Light: As with all weapons created by the Dark Side, it can be damaged or even destroyed by one pure of heart and mind who wields the power of Force Light - though those are exceedingly rare. Indeed, many who believe themselves to be channeling pure Force Light may in actuality be partially corrupted and therefore produce a lesser version of it, which might only dampen the blade's effects rather than destroy it.
• Lacks Utility: The sword can be wielded one or two-handed and is capable of striking through nearly all plastoid type material. It can crush through durasteel and other ores, though the cut would not be as clean as a lightsaber and must be backed with considerable strength. The weapon's use is more in its ability to act as a nexus of power for the wielder than to provide the overall ease of use and utility of a lightsaber.

DESCRIPTION

After the invasion of Solipsis' Coruscant by Sith warlords, Gerra forged the Sith sword Wyrmfang for Varin Mortifer, who fought side by side with him during the battle. The blade has a long hilt corded with leather over Leviathan bone. The ore of the blade appears bronzium to the naked eye, though the molecular nature has been altered. Wyrmfang is longer than a human's arm, with a leaf-shaped blade that allows for heavy cuts as well as thrusts.
