Writing Muse

What music do you often find yourself listening to while writing? What songs do you listen to while writing a specific emotion (what sad song do you listen to while writing something sad, what loud/angry song etc).

Post links!

Example:

Typically when o feel like kicking butt I like to listen to Vengeance by the Protomen.

The Attention Seeker
I have an obsession with making my characters snap. I build em up to make em snap and when its finally come to the snapping point I tend to play Three days grace animal I have become https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXDC89tZ4IQ at which point I proceed to to tear the crap out of them. From there they tend to spiral into depression. From there I either have them experience something that'll pull them out and either develop a new trait in them or strength one that was already there. That or I kill them off and play Stone Sour Bother. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-pXD0FXLQ8

When I start getting manipulative and start plotting for my character's own selfish gain I listen to Halestorm Mz. Hyde https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Y2PCvNYeE8

Whenever I have my character make a dramatic life change completely different to anything they have ever known I listen to imagine dragons radioactive (no link needed)

Now I try very much to make my characters super flawed and very rarely do I ever put them into an impossible situation where they come out on top. However those few moments I do, I listen to Fall Out Boys Centuries.

Lots of other things I listen to though these are the ones that come up the most often.
