CONTENTS

  • When used by a skilled master, it can produce immensely powerful equipment.

  • When all the components are together it can create equipment that verges on magic.

Strengths:

  • The Forge has the ability to alternately reflect and absorb the force.

  • When used properly, it can produce powerful items that verge on magical.

Weaknesses:

  • It is 93 meters tall and can only be used by Titans tall enough to use it properly.

  • Without all of the components, Anvil, Hammer, Slack Tub, it is useless.

  • When the forge is in use, any nearby who are not strong enough will suffer fatally from the heat of the forge.
DESCRIPTION
A mixture of force imbuement, alchemy, and will is channeled through the hammer (separate item), through the material, reflected off the anvil, back through the material, and so on. Once a sufficient amount of power is produced and circulating between the anvil and the hammer, the material can be placed in the Birth of Life which will solidify and seal the power inside of the material. A special metal is required to conduct and then store the power from the whole process. The heat is fueled by an attached forge fire which is capable of generating enough heat to treat the metal properly. (smaller versions of the World Forge do exist.)

[member="Kuxtal"], I know you mention that this is the forge and the Anvil itself, but I believe this would be better suited as a location sub in the Codex. Seeing as this is essentially a Force Nexus location tied with the Anvil that is housed inside this location.

Let me know if you will submit it as a location.

I considered making this as a location with a force nexus when I made this. But these World Forges are pretty much the method/source of the Titans unique form of technology and civilization and are used to shape everything they possess from architecture, weapons, armor, to basic items with more conventional uses.

While the World Forge is a very unique tool, I would say that it is unique to the Titans. It's not so unique that there is only one of them, because having only one forge to equip an entire race is just not practical. And I wouldn't tie it to a force nexus for much the same reason, using the merits of its own material and creation as its power, though granted I do need to define those better.

And if I'm being honest, I also really want to avoid the hassle of making a force nexus. So far that has not been my favorite thing to do.

[member="Kuxtal"], Location subs do not have to be singular location. It can be many locations that are throughout the planet that they are housed on.

in the special coolant
Most of the time for forging items in alchemy, its bathed in blood. However for most other swords/metallic uses, its water or oil depending on the metal being used.

And the heat can reach close to that of the sun to heat the metal properly.
That is really hot. Like, hot enough to melt the planet that you are on. Plus to get that kind of energy, you would need to burn something in order to get that kind of heat. Our Sun is not that big. Relatively small actually. Even then, it outputs more energy every second, than the human race uses in thousands of years.

I recommend removing the wording of "sun" and mention that it can reach the high heats that are required to heat up the metal. Mentioning the sun in it, in a literal sense, would mean any planet its on would be burnt up in a few seconds. You can still keep the weakness of the high heats, but take out mentions of the sun. Doesn't matter what metal you are working with. It would be melted and converted into atoms in no time.

Well, even if it is multiple locations, what I'm still trying to make something that can be moved from one place to another without too much trouble.

For the coolant I need something that can explain its ability to seal the raw power of the force that has not yet been fully imbued into an item, similar to how the water solidifies the heated metal, this solution would solidify the force inside the item.

I hear you on the "sun". though (unimportantly) pistol shrimp have the ability to create shockwaves with their claws that create/collapse an air bubble underwater that actually becomes as hot as the sun for that brief second. (again, unimportant.)

So this World Forge, is a basis for technology so that whoever uses it, can make one easily in a location of their choosing. Is that what you are telling me?

You could just mention it is a special liquor for that purpose.

Yes, but that is not even the span of a second, and is done due to kinetic energy transferring into heat and light. It only lasts a second because the amount of fuel needed to sustain that is so much that the air bubble collapses back on itself. Plus the pressure of the depth of the ocean it is in. Its up to you if you want to keep it or not. Its your submission and i am only making recommendations.

Well, I'm saying it's about as easy as transportation for a normal anvil would be. Basically it's not nailed down or built into the ground or anything. You can't just pick it up and take it with you, but it's not specific to a certain area like Mount Doom.
