The Dark Saber was made by a Mandalorian who was a Jedi - but then left the order. Since then, it was passed down through generations of Mandalorians as a cultural icon, the blade of Mandalore. Whoever was said to have this weapon was the one destined to lead the Mandalorians. Over the centuries, countless fakes of the Dark Saber appeared. One of these has ended up in the possession of Cameron, who, as a retired Sith had destroyed his old lightsaber. Deciding he wanted something that was not that of a Sith for himself, he started formulating designs for the weapon he wanted to make. Materials and supplies were gathered to upgrade it.
Purified Sarassian Iron which he got permission from the company to use, was employed in the creation of the weapon. Dathomiri Magic - Allyan was used in the modification of the blade, mainly to make it aesthetically different than the original Dark Saber, to make it look like it was made out of the Night Sky. This was also used to make the hilt of the sword only able to be activated by Cameron.

- Night Sky Themed: Unlike most Lightsabers, this has a theme of a Nightsky, that is, it looks like the blade holds stars inside of it. This is more of a thematic thing than anything else, and offers no benefits other than looking cool.
