They've studied the art of combat since the day they became ten and from there went on to undergo rigorous training exercises. The Royal Guard are skilled in the force and common weaponry such as rifles and pistols. As a result, they developed the 'Blueblood' project which was essentially selective breeding in order to produce the strongest soldiers. After constant trial and error the winning combination was Omwati & Echani. The Omwati's superior intelligence and the Echani's superior combat skill created the royal guard in the beginning. Centuries passed, and they became a powerful force. Eventually becoming the military as well with only the best of the best becoming members of the guard. Type: Personal?
This would be more like the type of unit they are... Royal Guard would be suitable.

I somehow managed to post on accident using my keyboard. Lovely! I'll have the rest of my judgment soon, feel free to make that edit though.

Please be specific. Because "about 30," isn't specific.

Your gear is fine, but the amount of force powers they're able to use is not. Force-sensitive units tend to require a lot of development, the more powerful they are in the force the more development they'll need. I'd recommend picking a single force power and sticking with it. Let that be the basis for them, but as they are right now, you basically have 30 padawans with lots of training and good equipment.

Alright i edited everything ^^. With the force powers though i understand, that was a fair point lol. But would it be ok if they had just two? I mean, as the royal guard they...guard the queen. So having force push to keep a threat who has gotten to close to their Majesty and then having force speed to quickly put themselves by her side and such. I can remove one of them if it will be an issue, just thought i'd give my reasoning and all. @Boethiah

@Winter Sovereign

If you want two force powers, you're gonna need a lot of development. NPC aren't intended to go around and start destroying Player Characters, because quite frankly that'd get out of hand quick. Then people would just go around using NPC so that they'd never have to put their character at risk. That doesn't mean NPC are useless, but they're not supposed to be as strong as PCs.

Speed is one I'm worried about. Push not so much. I'd like you to describe the limitations they have in using the force in the description, so I can get a good idea of how much development this unit will need.

Actually now that i think about it the force speed is really not needed at the moment. I mean, i am allowed to come back later and edit them a bit as time passes right? I'll be developing them plenty over the course of these next few months as Winters plans take off.

@Winter Sovereign

A basic level force ability is fine. As well, you are correct. You may update your unit through a modification request as they progress in roleplay. However; what is allowed and not allowed is left solely up to the Codex Admin, who will be the one accepting modification requests.

As for this sub, I would ask that you complete a short development thread of 20 posts. Mainly due to the fact that this unit is geared towards fighting specialists such as Jedi or Sith. In fact; the way you describe them this is undoubtedly an elite unit. So I'd like you to change their quality to A, or downplay the unit in description and make them somewhat less effective to reflect on their quality B.

What's the status of this submission?
Its under construction. I'm trying to figure out how to make a dev thread with them. What exactly do i do? I'm still new to the site and thus not sure how to make a development thread for a group of guards who have been with Winter since before she could walk fffff

A dev thread can be any type of roleplay thread. It only must be relevant to the submission itself to count. Most people--for NPC units--do threads training them, or showcasing them in action, etc. Do what you'd like. Be creative, but most of all have fun!
