Winning An Asset

swfu-kashyyyk_zpsq1mcxcje.jpg

Ali Hadrix looked out at the mass of homes and platforms built into the trunks of the humongous wroshyr trees that grew along the banks of the water. The breeze was light and cool, and the sun shone brightly in the sky, cutting around the thick, billowing white clouds but not through them. Ali stood on the balcony of the home she was renting for the week, her arms crossed and resting against the wood-worked railing that protected her against a hundred-meter drop to the sands below. The wroshyr tree her home was built on curved sharply East from the banks upon which it grew, the trunk reaching out across the beach below and over the water before turning upward once again. It was a beautiful planet, one Ali had only ever visited once before, and even then for a rather short time. But now she had an entire week to enjoy herself before returning to Hapes to continue her work there and hopefully to see Têhra again.
Têhra...the young woman was fresh in Ali's mind, a tortured bastard of a Hapan prince who'd made the mistake of running off to see the Galaxy. His daughter suffered for his audacity, a punishment undeserving of a woman so beautiful and kind.
Ali shook the girl from her thoughts for the time being; as much as she wanted to see the woman, touch her, and hear her voice, Têhra was far away on another world and Ali had work to do. Sighing, Alena pushed herself away from the railing and went inside to collect her things. She fastened her hip-holster around her waist and thigh, then secured the Verpine shatterpistol on one side and the DL-44 blaster pistol on the other. She wore a black blouse, buttoned most of the way up, but no bra, Kashyyyk was too hot near the equator for that nonsense. She wore blue jeans as bottoms and black heels to match the top. Her hair was loose, slightly curled at the ends and resting over her shoulders. Ali grabbed a small hand bag in which to carry her datapad, credits, lipstick and other things, then locked the house and made for a lift.
Her task was to cull intelligence assets on Kashyyyk. For that she had two options: Criminal or Government. The two served as the sides of a credchit that was the foundation of all intelligence work. Assets could either be official or not, legal or not. Illegal-unofficial sources provided the most intelligence, whereas official-illegal provided the best information. Needless to say, official-legal sources didn't provide a karking thing.
Ali checked her datatablet while walking across the woodplanked road to the lift, then took the long ride down to the lower levels of the wroshyr tree. She was angling for another section of the city, a set of trees across the water on a large island. There the local bazaar took place, and Ali hoped to find what she was looking for wandering around.

Sitara Qin was perched on top of a bar, a glass of diluted claret in her right hand. Sweat trickled down from her temple as the hot Kashyyyk sun burned into her skin. She was people watching; idly observing the many faces of those who passed her by, ignoring the calls of the pestering stall owners trying to get them to visit their freshly stocked stalls. There were tired children resting on a pile of crates drinking up hot desserts as their parents tended to their own business, trying to get a good deal with their hard earned credits.

Kashyyyk indeed had it all; with their amusing trade routes, it was hard not to stumble upon anything that wouldn't intrigue you for a moment. It was even more interesting delving into the Kashyyyk black market; where Wookies were still traded off like drugs on her home planet. The Wookie planet was indeed a wild one, seemingly untameable, much like herself. Although this world had a fine assortment of things, the only thing she had purchased so far was alcoholic beverages.

The claret she had ordered was a cheap rendition of the finer wines she has tasted. The flavors didn't dance in her palate with grace; instead, they tumbled sloppily on her tongue in a bitter dance. The alcohol was diluted and the wine was more bitter than she expected. She grimaced, setting the half empty glass on the bar. She was a cheap drunk, but even she had her standards.

She hopped off the bar and stretched, her dark crop top revealing more of her abdomen than it already did. Her dark brown hair was pulled back into a ponytail. There had to be a place to get better drinks than this and perhaps she could find better company to drink with. It was always more fun having someone to talk to; especially a person with plenty of stories to share. Either that or she could buy a gag gift and maybe freak out the chumps at the academy if she were to ever visit; both options seemed fairly entertaining.

She walked around, her flip flops clonking on the wooden floor beneath her. It fascinated her how this entire city was built on a couple of trees. Perhaps she'd want to stay a few more days before hitchhiking out of here. She didn't have a precise goal in life like many of those around her. She wasn't out to be the biggest, baddest sith lord who'd concur the entire galaxy. All she wanted to do was have a little fun.

She was lost in her thoughts when the lipstick rolled over towards her toes. She picked it up, looked around, and saw that some chick's bag was open. She walked after the girl in the black blouse, not in any real hurry to bring her back her makeup. If she ended up losing her, she'd end up with free lipstick. It was unhygienic but pretty cool. Once she caught up to her, she'd gently tap her on the shoulder.

"Hey, you dropped this."

"Hey, you dropped this," came a woman's voice, skipping lightly and fruitfully into Ali's ears. She snapped her head around, her hair lashing as she did before settling over her shoulders once more, her dark brown locks curled at the ends and bouncing lightly. Ali's eyes flashed, bright, piercing eyes, above rouged lips. Ali's eyes fell on her, a young woman with dark brown hair and light skin, blue-grey eyes and a look that told Ali she didn't particularly care.
Care about what? Ali asked herself as her gaze fell on the other woman. About anything. The voice told her. Ali looked down at the stick of maquillage grasped in the woman's hand, checking her purse to verify it was indeed her own. "I must have missed that, thank you." Ali took the stick and popped off the cap, then glanced down at the wax paint before applying it to her lips and pursing them gently. "How do I look?" She asked rhetorically, smiling vibrantly. She recapped the stick and was about to drop it into her bag, but held it out to the other woman instead. "Please, take it. It's a good color, and you were so kind." Ali insisted. Why, though? Ali asked herself, eying the woman casually, as one might do at a nightclub.

[member="Sitara Qin"]

The woman was shorter than herself, even with her heels. Tara noticed that she was a little older; though she certainly dressed like she could still have fun. Her bright eyes were a similar color to her own, though Tara's were a shade or two darker. "No prob." She replied, as the woman took the lipstick from her hands. Sitara watched as she uncapped it, pursed her lips, and painted them. Her mouth was now stained a darker colour, which Sitara thought suited her sophisticated demeanour. Tara nodded in response to the woman smiling at her.

Her eyebrow raised as the woman hesitated to return it to her purse, which Tara assumed was where it rightly belonged. "Um. Thanks." She replied, as she took the lipstick back from the lady. Was there something wrong with it? Tara was a little bit paranoid after all. Maybe she'd discard the lipstick when the lady wasn't looking. "I think it's a better colour on you though. Are you absolutely certain?"

The woman didn't seem at all suspicious, although the best thieves are those you don't suspect. She uncapped the lipstick, staining her own lips red. "What do you think?"

|[member="Ali Hadrix"]|

"I think it's a fantastic color for either of us." Ali replied smoothly, watching the woman apply the lipstick, darkening her full, soft lips. Ali suddenly found herself wondering who this woman was and why she'd bothered stopping her for a simple stick of rouge. She watched the stick of chemicals and pigments wear down just perceptibly as the young woman dragged it across her lips, the corners of her mouth tugging sideward ever-so-slightly. Ali looked over at the woman with a smile as she recapped the stick and asked her she looked. "Wonderfully kissable," Ali told her in a light, airy voice. She closed her handbag and adjusted its strap on her shoulder. Should I invite her along? Ali asked herself. She knew nothing about this girl, but then again, she wasn't likely to learn anything by just letting her go. "How about this, stranger," Ali said, putting a forefinger to her bottom lip in thought, "I'll keep the stick, but you can let me repay you with lunch instead?" Ali suggested, having read several reviews positive reviews of a Wookiee-based restaurant in the bazaar district across the water. It apparently overlooked the city back on the mainland.

"You think?" She giggled, puckering her freshly painted lips. The lady took her lipstick back, dropping it into her purse. Sitara was about to leave, however the woman had invited her to lunch. She bit her lip, something she did out of habit. "Okay." She answered, nodding. She didn't really give it much thought. Lunch with a potential friend seemed fun, and besides, they'd be two gorgeous women going out to lunch. The people with nothing better to do could eat their hearts out. Although she found herself to be charming and easily approachable (if one would get passed the resting queen face), she found herself drawn to individuals who were alone as well. Sitara was comfortable in one-on-one situations and felt out of place in a group. She enjoyed being alone, together. "But the drinks are on me!" She grinned. She wasn't sure if [member="Ali Hadrix"] even liked drinking. She could always order a virgin drink if she didn't feel like it. Sitara didn't consider herself to be an alcoholic. She found herself being more appreciative of the actual taste and intricateness of alcohol as compared to just its after effects.

Realizing she had never asked for the woman's name, Sitara decided she should be the first to introduce herself. "I'm Tara by the way."

Ali smiled at the other woman's offer to buy drinks, then stood at her side and slipped her arm kindly enough through hers. The woman offered her name as they walked along the wooden road toward the ferry that took travelers from the mainland of the city to the island across the water. "My name is Ali, it is very nice to meet you," Ali replied, smiling easily at the other woman. Tara seemed as young at heart as she was in body, but her sense of surety of self got Ali wondering what it was she did for a living, and where she might be from. "So are you a Kashyyyk native, or just a wandering soul?" Ali asked smoothly, keeping her eye out for the ferry dock nearby. The sands of the shore began some meters away where the wooden road ended, and there speeders and land cruisers were docked in small groups, their owners sitting and talking with one another, or absent altogether.

They walked together, blanketed with the heat and serenity of the Wookie planet. Tara wasn't quite sure which place Ali wanted to go to; regardless, the food in Krashyyyk was bound to be delicious. "I'd consider myself a wanderer." She grinned, her ponytail bouncing behind her as they walked. "I feel as though it's boring being stuck in one location. I travel where and when I can. " Being a member of the sith, it was hard being accepted in just every planet. There were so many restrictions in the universe that sometimes Tara wished she wasn't bound to anything at all. She wasn't sure she enjoyed responsibilities. The people they passed by seemed occupied with their own lives or in the comforts of each other. In her heart, Tara felt a pang of desire for something she couldn't have. It was something she had yet to discover.

She shifted her gaze to meet Ali's bright blue eyes. "And yourself?" She inquired, pushing the question back at the woman she had just met. She felt as though a strong bond could form with the woman. Whether it was the force talking or her desire to have a good friend was unknown. "Are you here for business, pleasure, or a bit of both?"

Ali considered Tara's expression before answering. There certainly was something about the woman, though Ali couldn't place it. She hoped to discover it at some point, however. In the meantime, Ali smiled pleasantly and answered honestly, "I'm here for both." She said, subtly guiding them toward the dock. Ali spoke briefly with the Wookiee boatman, who growled and gruffed with her over the price of transport. Ali handed over payment and stepped onto the boat, which proved to be a small barge with a flat floor and a rail that ran along the edge. Benches likewise lined the sides for passengers to sit. Ali let her hand slide along Tara's arm until it gently grasped her fingers, and she helped the other woman step upon the boat, then rejoined their arms. Ali's heels clucked dully against the wooden floor as she led Tara to a bench and sat down, the wind cresting off the water around them and nipping at her hair.
Ali glanced over at Tara, deciding the woman deserved to hear more. "I work for the Republic, and business brought me this way. I'm here to...get a feel for the place. Get to know people, learn more about the local economy, society, that sort of thing." Ali gesticulated in a way that said, You get what I mean. She liked Tara's attitude about wandering, Ali herself could never stay too long at home. Even as a child she spent her time wandering Mandalore's cities and villages when her parents traveled about the planet. "At the same time," Ali continued, "I've only ever been here once, and I wasn't able to stay long. Hence, I'm here for both." Ali concluded sweetly, lightly tapping the back of Tara's hand with her own gentle touch.

As Ali negotiated with the wookie boatman, Sitara looked over the pier and into the water. The water was clear, though the ripples and mild waves prevented her from gazing at her own reflection. She wasn't trying to focus on anything in particular, she simply felt as though there was something so earthy about this planet that tied you to it despite the fact that the infrastructure was suspended into thin air. The jetty had multiple boats tied into it, and the small barge would be theirs. She took Ali's hand which felt smooth yet firm against her touch. "Oomf." She said as she entered the boat and slid into the seat next to Ali, their arms linked together once again.

Tara's gaze shifted as Ali mentioned that she was here on business with the republic. She had her reservations about them and most of her information came from what people fed her. Considering she spent half of her life being sheltered by her father and the other half with crummy spoiled children in the academy, there wasn't much she could truly say about the republic without her own bias. Ali seemed all right however and she didn't want their different choice of factions to get in the way of this lovely day. With the water cool beneath the small boat they were on and the warm Krashyyyk sun shining above them, it wasn't the time to let thousands of years of differences get between the both of them. Sitara Qin and [member="Ali Hadrix"] were both lovely girls with fun personalities regardless of wherever they came from. And who said there was a rule on choosing friends?

"Data collection, sounds fun...and tedious." She giggled. "I assume you've been around town then. You seem to know the area better than I have, but then again it is my first time here." She smiled. "And on the other hand, you get to travel. That's always fun."

"My father used to travel a lot but I never came with him." She said. It was the truth, she wasn't going to outrightly say that her father worked the drug trading business and the reason why he wouldn't let her go is because he didn't feel she was safe on board. However, for some reason he thought she was safe in the sith academy. For one thing, it toughened her up.

Ali didn't miss how Tara looked away upon her mention of the Republic. Likely simple political disagreement, Ali told herself, choosing instead to focus on the other woman's words. Tara was sharing herself with a stranger, and that deserved a modicum of respect. Ali smirked slightly and drew a piece of flimsi from her purse, holding it out for Tara to see. "I actually just got here yesterday. I know about everything in this brochure though." She laughed, stashed the document back in her purse. "I look forward to seeing more though," Ali continued, looking over at Tara with a keen eye. "Maybe you'll join along, if you want...it's better than being alone," Ali mused out loud, listening to the waves lapping against the side of the boat. Whatever it was Tara's father did for a living, the woman had chosen not to elaborate, so Ali didn't ask. The salty air slipped like a sheet over her skin, the colder breezes producing pimples that faded away as the warmth of the sun returned to them. The wroshyr trees were so tall and broad they provided shade across the small channel to the island.

[member=Sitara Qin] | [member=Kaira]

Tara leaned over to look at the brochure Ali had pulled out, her head bumping the other woman's playfully. "I didn't know they had these." She glanced at the pictures on the side detailing the various events and entertainment spots one can visit in Krashyyyk. Hopefully she had enough credits to spend. "I'd love that." She nodded, it was rare that she had a travel companion with her. Though there was a rule of two, she hadn't been spending time with her master as of recently. He had other matters to attend to after all.

The shadows the trees provided made intricate patterns all over the boat and on top of her skin. Peering over Ali's shoulder, she noticed an island that they were approaching. It looked like the island that they had just left, though it was a little smaller. However, from this distance, Sitara could still see vague outlines of houses perched on the branches of each wroshyr tree. She figured one of the shanties was probably the restaurant [member="Ali Hadrix"] wanted to visit. "I assume we're almost here then?" She inquired. "Did you learn about this place through the brochure as well?"

Ali smiled as the two women knocked heads lightly. Ali felt as if she were making a fast friend, which was a pleasing thought considering friends were rare in her line of work. Ali looked over at the younger woman and considered her for a moment. The shadows from the wroshyr trees above them were dancing with the rays of sunlight that fought for Tara's skin, making her seem to glow. Ali wondered where the woman was from, who she might truly be, on the inside, and hoped she might be around long enough for Ali to figure her out. The the time being she was content to simply enjoy Tara's presence, her reconnaissance trips were always a bore without company, though Kearney wasn't the companion type and Crassis was shackled to a desk for the remainder of his career. The joys of working with broken men, Ali thought dismally to herself, shaken from her inner monologue by Tara's question.
"Oh, no, the restaurant I tried last time I was here on Kashyyyk." Ali leaned closer to the other woman and explained further. "I was waiting for a shuttle to take me to the nearest spaceport, but my flight ended up severely delayed and I missed my transport out of the system." She furrowed her brow and clicked her tongue for a moment. "I must have waited twelve, thirteen hours in that restaurant for a new shuttle." Ali smiled as the shore drew ever closer, the barge bobbing and shaking gently atop the cool, blue waves. "I ate two separate meals there and slept on a bench seat in a booth." Ali concluded, laughing pleasantly.
She was surprising herself with this new penchant for small talk. She notoriously hated it, at least amongst soldiers, who rarely had anything worthwhile to say that Ali might want to suffer through. Mostly they just complained about this, that or the other thing, and were rarely good for conversation. Even in the intelligence gig, agents were prone to either silence, or verbal diarrhea that Ali didn't want to listen to. Tara, however, was pleasant for conversation, and Ali suspected it had something to do with the woman's demeanor. She was relaxed and carefree, much like Ali herself. She didn't feel as if there were any expectations, and Ali's personal behavior didn't much matter to the girl. It was freeing, for Ali hated limitations on her person, body or mind.

[member=Sitara Qin] | [member=Kaira]

Tara furrowed her brows. Flights being delayed? That was annoying. Despite not restricting herself by a schedule and going wherever the wind blows, she hated plans being broken when she actually took the time to make them. The people who had trotted into her father's store and purchased various spices to lift their spirits often spoke about setting yourself up for disappointment. Perhaps it was why she didn't plan things that often or why she wasn't in a commited relationship—she didn't want to be disappointed in the end.

"I absolutely hate that." She grimaced and patted the back of Ali's hand. Regardless of the woman's smile, there was a hint of annoyance in her voice with the way she spoke about the missed flight. "I think our transport systems could still use a little work. On the bright side," Despite everything, Tara was still an optimist at heart. "At least you got to spend more time on this gorgeous planet." She smiled at the woman beside her; happy that despite the small talk being well...small talk, she felt comfortable in Ali's presence. She hoped she felt the same way.

"Oh! Speaking of which, have you been to Kit Liak?" She asked,a grin on her face. It was a small bar not too far from here, Sitara assumed. The drinks were good, the bartenders were hot, and the people who visited were all beautiful. "It's a bar, we could go sometime when you aren't busy."

|[member="Ali Hadrix"]|

Ali felt the gentle warmth of Tara's hand against hers as the woman sympathized with her. It was a small gesture, this show of camaraderie in the suffering of transportation woes, yet one Ali wasn't privy to often due to the nature of her work. Ali laughed pleasantly at Tara's upbeat persona and bright-minded willingness to share it with a total stranger. Well I suppose we aren't total strangers now, Ali mused. Tara mentioned another bar on the island, one Ali hadn't heard of, and she shook her head to reveal her ignorance. Her long brown locks shimmered lightly as they danced to and fro about her shoulders, cast in light and shadow alternatively.
"You know, I like my women the way I like my drugs," Ali said humorously, pointing with a finger, "Uppers, not downers." She giggled a bit too girlishly at her own humor, for a moment forgetting that she was a woman of almost forty, and an intelligence agent on top of it all. It was Ali's turn to pat Tara's hand, it was soft, as most women were. "Tara, you are an absolute pleasure, and I love that idea." She smiled over at the younger woman as the barge shook gently, striking the jetty on the sandy shore. Their Wookiee boatman began tying the barge off at the moorage point. Ali had a week to kill on Kashyyyk, and it didn't seem like she'd be spending it alone. Ali smiled gladly at the thought, wondering if Tara might understand why it pleased her so.

The barge shook gently beneath them as it lightly crashed into the dock rocking the two ladies to the side slightly. She giggled. "You're not so bad yourself." She smiled, standing up on the boat that was still swaying softly against the scant waves. She stretched, her eyes staring into what the fragments of light that weren't covered by the abundance of wroshyr trees. She offered her hands for Ali to take, gently pulling her up from her seat. "I'm glad the whether's alright today. Shall we go?"

She exited the small boat, helping [member="Ali Hadrix"] excitedly. She kicked her flip flops off, her toes curling against the warm sand. The sandy breeze swung her ponytail and blew the stray pieces of hair away. "I've always loved beaches. This place is paradise!" She grinned. Carefree days like this were bliss, luxuries she couldn't often afford.

Ali gladly took Tara's hands, feeling lithe, soft fingers take hers and pull her upward. Following the younger woman from the barge, Ali nodded her thanks to the Wookiee boatman and stepped off onto sand. The sun was bright and strong, and a light breeze came off the water, flittering through her hair and caressing her shoulders like a smooth lover. Immediately Ali's heels sunk into the sand, and she gladly took after Tara in example, kicking them off and picking them up. She smiled as her toes smushed pills of sand between them, feeling their roughness and wetness against her skin.
Tara's hair tossed about lightly in the breeze, and Ali found herself brushing aside locks of her own, tucking them somewhat successfully behind her ears. The young woman was ecstatic and Ali was growing more excited herself just basking in the sun and Tara's own energy. Ali remained silent, having nothing to offer in response to Tara's glee besides a pleasant smile, though her body was refusing to release Tara's hand. She wanted the woman to remain with her, walk with her, dance with her. In fact, dancing on the beach is exactly what Ali wanted to do right then and there.
"Come with me!" Ali cried into the wind, stuffing her heels in her handbag, Ali pulled Tara gently toward her and began skipping about along the smooth wet beach as gentle waves crashed smally here and there. Ali laughed and kicked at the water, feeling the sun warm her skin with renewed heat as the sea spray speckled her pale skin. I'm having fun. Ali thought, and while it wasn't a new feeling for her, it was certainly one she was enjoying growing reacquainted with.

[member="Sitara Qin"] | [member=Kaira]

Ali’s fingers were still intwined with her’s; and with a gentle tug from the beautiful woman, her soul tumbled out of her body and into the waves. It was as though she could finally let go of everything, of all the things expected of her and have fun with someone who could genuinely be her friend. Their feet danced along the warm sand, leaving fresh footprints on the shore. Ali’s laugh was warmer than the sun and she looked just as happy, kicking the cold water.

Sitara sighed, watching as the breakers crashing against the shore before dissolving into delicate dribbles of foam before enveloping her toes. There was something about beaches that made one taste the salty winds of freedom. She turned to the giggly woman beside her and flashed her a smile. “I love Kashyyyk!” She declared, the water spritzing her legs. “I could get used to this.” She grinned, dancing alongside her newfound friend. It may have been simple, yet she found comfort in this moment.

Maybe lunch could late a little while, couldn't it? She smiled mischievously before crouching down, her knees soaked by the waves. She put her hands on top of each other, forming a cup with her palms. With a precise trajectory, she scooped up the water and splashed Ali.

|[member="Ali Hadrix"]|

Ali let go of Tara's hand, letting the other woman frolick wildly in the water along the beach. She watched Tara's lithe figure dance between the dryland and the frothy water, exclaiming brilliantly her love for the planet. Ali laughed loudly and clearly, covering her mouth with the back of her hand and reveling in Tara's enjoyment of something so simple. She smiled and tossed her handbag into the sand nearby, her heels with it. Ali stepped forward to dip her toes into the evershifting bank of water, lightly tugging her slacks up to keep them dry.
Ali watched Tara tread knee-deep into the waves, shrieking in delight. Her smile grew, as did her enjoyment of this time with a woman she hardly knew. My whole life is a line of women I hardly know... Ali thought sadly for a moment. Suddenly she found herself thinking of Têhra, stuck on Hapes, lost and suffering and utterly alone. To Têhra, I'm just a woman she hardly knows. Ali thought, feeling odd to find herself in the other woman's shoes.
Ali was stripped from her moment of introspection by a cascade of cool water showering her face and chest and arms. Rivulets ran down her face and dripped from her nose and chin as she sputtered briefly, taking a moment to realise what had happened. She saw Tara some feet away, giggling to herself and grinning. The woman's lips looked juicy enough to bite, Ali noticed, considering it as a moment of painful vengeance for Tara to suffer later.
Ali grinned and wiped the water from her eyes, knowing her slacks and blouse were soaked in the front. She reached for her waist and undid the button holding on her bottoms and let them drop to her ankles before kicking them off in the direction of her handbag. Ali typically didn't wear undergarments, though today had been a lucky day for any non-Human admirer's on the beach that day; she wore a dark blue pair of high-cut briefs that hid everything it needed to, but nothing more. With a burst of speed, Ali splashed into the water alongside Tara and doused the other woman as best she could with open hands.

[member="Sitara Qin"]

C’mon Ali!” Sitara taunted, as the older woman had stripped her pants off and tossed it to the side, revealing shapely, strong legs. Though she too was another woman, Tara couldn’t help but stare; jealous of Ali’s great genetics. The grin never leaving her face, Sitara backed away slowly as Ali quickly ran after her. She extended her hands in front of her in a sad attempt to shield her from the splash. The cold water bespattering her face, and Sitara squealed in gaiety. Her thighs pressed together and she shivered. It was a light-hearted day and although Ali was here for business, Sitara would make it certain that Ali wouldn’t leave the planet without a little bit of pleasure.

I cannot believe you did that!” She said, furrowing her brows, trying to look as though she was upset with the older woman. The tanktop she was wearing was drenched and uncomfortably stuck to her skin The khaki shorts she was wearing had dark spots from the splatters of water that landed on it. She bit her lip, giving Ali a forced look of annoyance. In a split second, she burst out into a giggling fit again and chased after her; trying her best to spritz her with as much water as she could scoop up.

She would make a run for it, knowing that Ali would undoubtedly retaliate every time she attacked. The water was a difficult obstacle, her legs moving at a lower speed as she trudged in the shallow end of the beach. Staring at the brunette in front of her she extended her hand, coaxing the woman in front of her with her forefinger. "Catch me if you can." She teased.
