Windswept Stone & Ocean Spray

A cool breeze rolled off the ocean, bringing the scent of sea-spray and a gentle misting fog which clung to everything like a soft blanket. Other than the soft chirping of porgs, barely audible through the low-lying clouds elsewhere on the island, it was so quiet...
She'd brought only the barest necessities, making the long trek up the grand staircase, bringing everything she'd need in only a single trip; rations enough so she'd not starve, a bed-roll, the means to create fire to warm herself at night, and the required materials necessary to see through her reason for visiting Ach-To. Her plan was to spend a brief period of time in solitude... aided only by one of her closest companions, and her own relationship with The Living Force.
It was here, upon the oldest of the Jedi Homeworlds, that she felt a deep connection with her heritage. The Force was strong in this place... as time moved on, marked only by the passage of the light in the sky, she found it remarkably easy to shrug off the chaos of the Galaxy and let herself drift into the flow.
She'd chosen a hut in the small village of stone which was sufficiently removed from the others, and protected from the most of the wind which occasionally whipped through the ancient structures. She'd set up her camp, arranged her materials for inspection, and settled in with closed eyes & an open heart.

Prepared for the task at hand, the Jedi Master rose. She laid out the parts for the Geological Compressor; a powerful miniaturized furnace, which would accept a number of components from-which she would begin the grueling task of crafting her own synthetic lightsaber crystal - an ancient rite, indeed.

The device had been altered, expertly, to the purpose.

She said nothing during this time; simply going through the motions, holding her focus to the task at hand. It was possible that the craft could take a few days to complete, and she would have to be present for its' entirety - dropping herself into a deep & powerful state of meditation through-which she'd focus her intent into the act. Once the compressor was assembled, sitting beside her & the small fire she'd made to hold back the chill of the ocean world, she allowed herself a few moments outside to mark the moment...

Then, she would begin.
