PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

STRENGTHS
Combat skills - Skilled with a blaster and hand to hand combat. Obviously he couldn't take on a fully kitted mando, but he can stand up against most galactic scum.
Go-getter - Billy isn't the type to back down from anything, which makes him utterly dependable. He'll do the job if you ask him nicely.
WEAKNESSES
Selfish - Billy won't do anything unless he knows there's something in it for him. You'd have to do a lot of convincing to get him to see things your way.
HISTORY
Son of the former CIS High Marshal, Kirk Tektus. Born at the height of his father's military career, he wanted to become a member of the navy and claim glory just like his father had done. He along with his sister, Eva had gone through military education ever since they were kids. But where Eva was the more technically minded, Billy was a competent warrior in hand to hand combat.
While the two Tektus kids showed promise, the Tektus bloodline was in jeopardy. After reaching his fame, Kirk rarely found himself on the frontlines with other cadets picking on the Tektus kids for their father being the richest pencil pusher in the confederate navy. While the families of their peers were getting glory, Kirk remained in his office, and even early spoke to his kids. When their mother passed, Kirk had still been there for his children, but eventually even he became more withdrawn. Billy and Eva were the only people who could take care of each other. But despite Billy's talent, he couldn't handle the verbal abuse and neglect from his father. When confronted by a few officer cadets, Billy fought back and got himself expelled from the academy.
So he ran.
Bill had stolen some money from his family's fortune which meant he was no wanted on Naboo for robbery. With his skills in fighting and a blaster, he picked up some jobs as a guard and eventually a bounty hunter. Turns out Bill crossed the wrong crime lord who skimped out on his payment, his punishment was the pits. There he met a mandalorian who was one of the combatants. Looking to make their break and not wanting to fight to the death, Bill and the mando broke out of the pits, leaving a trail of bodies along the way. Bill decided to tag the mando and find a way of planet. The mando however was willing to leave him for dead on the planet. So Billy decided to fight him to the death.
Billy won.
Figured he caught a lucky break but ended up stealing a Mandalorian ship with a Mandalorian signature. It was only a matter of time until Mandalorians would come looking for their stolen property and that was Bill's fault. He took a wrong turn and ended up in the space of the Mandalorian Empire. He was apprehended and taken before of the patriarch of the clan member Billy had murdered. He was going to face execution for crimes, at least until someone in the empire had recognized his name and knew of his father. He vouched on his behalf, saying that Billy was the son of a famous admiral who vanquished many. If Billy killed a Mandalorian, it was because he was descendent of a proud warrior himself. The person who vouched for him said that if he was to meet justice, it would be on the field of battle. So it was death by execution, or on the field of battle.
Billy willfully accepted the latter. Billy took what he learned from the confederate naval academy and became a part of the star corps where he would become a captain, operating semi-independently, maintaining peace across the empire's holdings.
