Voreth turned back to wave his sudden new companion through the new escape route when he noticed three things in rapid succession. The first was the two other women that had joined them. More escapees. Had they also heard the Voice? One seemed to be some form of law enforcement, but Voreth didn't find much use in that. Not unless she had back-up. The other woman gave Voreth a pause. Kin. Not in a...traditional sense, of course. Though the same blood did not flow in their veins, they were of one people. Miraluka.

Voreth would have liked to pause and investigate these two findings in more detail, but for the third thing: more prisoners and guards were approaching, and it would seem lethal force had been authorized. "If we find a convenient terminal, sure. Otherwise, I think our best bet is to get to the streets and hide." Voreth turned to follow the other Miraluka as she pushed past him into the new room, taking note of her summoning a...sword of sorts. He made a mental note to ask her how to teach him that later.

Though he was amazed to finally meet another of his kind after all these years, he did not let his excitement rule him. He cast his gaze upon the new chamber, the pipes and mechanicals creating a near maze for one such as he. "To the right." He didn't know how he knew that. Already he could feel the tendrils of darkness creeping at the edges of his vision. His sudden burst of connection to the Force was fading fast. But the voice in his head reassured him that it was the correct way to go. "Let's get out of here before they regroup."

With an eerie clarity, the Voice spoke again. There were flames that roared at the incoming guards and consumed them. Shouts followed as the advance of the guards seemed to be slowed, though only by a small amount. There were still more to come. More headed their way, even as the facility shook and sounded like it was crumbling down behind him.

Inwardly, he sighed. His physical strength wouldn’t do much with the last of the drug tugging at his awareness, though the Voice seemed to help with that. Even if he did want to fight, the new… circumstances of the guards wasn’t an appealing one. Especially with a different route available now. He’d fought more formidable foes. Humans, Near-Humans, aliens, and predatory animals native to his homeworld that easily claimed victory in bouts against other gladiators. These ones… he didn’t want to touch with a ten foot pipe.

So, he willed his body to move, following after the woman that summoned the emerald flames earlier. “Hey, wait up! I’m coming too. Best to get out of here while we can,” he called. Holding on tightly to the baton in his hand, he followed behind the man and woman that led the way through the pipes and pathway that’d been carved through the wall of their prison. Adrenaline still pumped through his veins, sharpening his awareness of the things around him. He kept a constant watch over his shoulder since he took up the rear of their current formation, straining his ears to listen for movement in the group’s direction that might signal the impeding arrival of a group of filth-covered guards… or possibly the coming of more of the imprisoned that also sought freedom because of this mysterious Voice that somehow brought all of them together in this way.

Valeria watched the naked man get shot in the back and then watched him murderate.tm the trandoshan guard that was, somehow, still alive. Valeria could feel him use the force though use was not really the right term as the flow of the force through him was odd. She then watched as he heaved and spit up some bile as the red faded from his eyes. Everything about him was odd from where he had been held to his general existence, to how he seemingly used metal in combat, and from what she had seen that had originated from internally? Valeria thought that perhaps he was some third rate Sith's, or some Government's, pet experiment that they had either lost or lost control of. She couldn't imagine losing any of her pets nevertheless she'd need to keep an eye out around him lest the experiment lose it's mind and attempt to kill her.

Valeria then heard the voice again, it providing a hint as to the general direction of an escape. Valeria also heard other voices from around the corner followed by a bang and the smell of sewage. Valeria indicated to Kuben Woods Kuben Woods to follow, since she wasn't sure who was around the corner, just that they were. Valeria poked her head around the corner and saw, what appeared to be other prisoners, and large amounts of sewage everywhere. Valeria immediately snapped her fingers and conjured a weak force barrier around herself, not enough to stop an attack but it was enough to keep the sewage from directly coming into contact with her.

"Looks like some other prisoners have created an escape route, following them should prove fruitful. Come on....you...hmmmm....I want to say, Logan? What's your name again?"

Valeria said to the naked man as she began walking around the corner, every step freezing the ground she walked on, before she caught up with the others that had, presumably, heard the same hint that she had. Valeria noticed the two Miraluka first, followed by the group of humans, all of whom seemed relatively normal.

"Hello there, myself and Mmmmm here also happen to be escaping. I figured it may be beneficial if we joined up with the rest of the escapees at least until we get out of here."

Kuben reloaded the shotgun as the woman looked about and as she spoke about about moving he proceeded to rack the slug thrower's action, ensuring a round was chambered. He considered telling her a name, but decided against doing something so quickly. When she suggested a name, he shrugged as he spoke.

"Sounds good enough. If we live to get out of here might properly introduce myself,"

He began sniffing the air as they moved, the smell, that was... well to most that would be outright appalling. As he looked over the group she lead him to, he noticed that few of them were armed. Seemed that there had been a mass escape that this, thing, had caused. This voice was different from the one he was used to, and a dark chuckle ringing from inside his ears confirmed that they were indeed separate entities.

Damned voice wouldn't let him get an ounce of rest.

He heard the footsteps which drew his attention as he raised the shotgun and aimed it down the hallway.

"Whatever you're gonna do I suggest you do it quickly!"

Kuben then took aim down the hallway past the other former prisoners and roared as took several steps towards them and started firing his shotgun at where the footsteps and smell of shit covered guards were coming from.

"LET'S GO LADIES, IF YOU WANT TO LIVE-"

"MOVE. YOUR. ASS!"

He punctuated the last three words with blasts from the slug thrower as he took a blocking position in the hallway. It wasn't that he didn't want to leave. He just wasn't going too puke his guts up from getting shot in the back again. Besides, the lady with the fancy 'saber could clear them a path the other way. And this wouldn't be his first time breaking contact.

Through stench and blood, they wrote their story in defiance.

Salvation and destruction faced one another on a scale, teetering as the events unfolded. In the beginning, those who had been stolen were all but doomed, yet now they were on the path to escape. The Miraluka called Voreth had rent open a path, and now those who had broken their chains were on their way through it. With enemies advancing from every direction, there was not precious time to chatter. The nude monstrosity called Kuben put it best, with shotgun blasts ringing in the air: Move. Your. Ass.

By following the urge to live through the ripped apart wall, the group would be granted a familiar sight.

Though a tight fit at some steps, Voreth's path would eventually reveal a larger room on the other side. It was vast compared to what they had seen thus far, and clearly served the purpose of loading and receiving cargo. Crates and pallets were strewn about. There were even jacks, racks full of various menial equipment, and droids that were in a powered-down state. What would draw the eye the most was the sight on the western side of the room. At a glance, it was an unremarkable freighter. Rust tinged the gaps between some pieces of its hull. At other spaces, there were panels missing altogether.

But the survivors would know this vessel. The recollection would be faint, as if they were blinking amidst their drug-induced stupor. But this was indeed the ship that had been responsible for ferrying them here in the first place. And, judging by the smell in the air, the engines were recently primed. As if to confirm this direction, the Voice called out once more. Her words shuddered in their minds, urging them to seize the opportunity before them. "Take it. Salvation awaits."

In tandem with this urging, the Voice worked in their favor once more. As the filth-covered guards found their footing and advanced, they would find their paths again impeded. Seemingly random bursts of telekinetic fury rang out in the waking world. Crates fell before and on top of them. Equipment powered on and moved to obstruct their paths. Even more pipes shuddered and burst, launching steam into their exposed flesh. Precious moments had been purchased, but the individuals would have to make their choice.

Choosing this path would not come unhindered. Though the Voice did well to aide in covering their tracks, what laid before them was also filled with danger. Should they invade the vessel via its extended ramp, they would find aboard nine souls - an even blend of Gamorrean and Trandoshan - armed to the teeth. They would have to proceed with care, for mighty displays of the Force might cripple the vessel before it could ferry them to safety.

Would they board as bidden by the Voice? Would they witness this so-called Salvation?

Only time and determination would tell.

With the haze now fully settled, Voreth's brow furrowed in an effort to perceive his surroundings. He couldn't see much. But he could see that damned ship. It had brought them here. Now it would take them away. Far easier for him to see than the ship were the beings aboard the ship. He was staying close to Lyssara Talis Lyssara Talis as she was armed and he was not. "Nine combatants. Trandos and Pigs." He muttered it quietly, but in a somewhat reflective tone. He wasn't telling Lyssara of this discovery. No, if she was truly his kin she likely saw them before he did.

He turned back to the rest of the group, waving them through the narrow opening. "Come on, there's a ship but we'll have to fight for it." He didn't explain how he knew there were beings on board. Either they were smart enough to figure it out, or it could be explained to them later. It had been mere moments but already Voreth ached, longed for the soothing abyss that had yawned wide before him, offering a taste of its immaculate power. He couldn't ever remember being so...in touch with the Force.

The Voice called them to the ship. And Voreth was too drunk on desire to argue. As the last of the escapees hurried past him, he turned to follow suit, grabbing something from one of the carts. A tool of some kind. He didn't care what. He could beat something to death with his bare hands. The tool he'd selected would only save the skin of his knuckles. Any use beyond that was an added bonus. The ship and its cohort of guards would soon fall. Soon, they would be free. Where would Voreth go from here? He did not care. So long as the Voice was with him...pleased enough with him to grant him another boon, it would be enough.

Aerona nodded her head, it made sense to get out of the place before more people arrived or whoever orchestrated this returned to cause more issues for the group. She doubted one person could behind this since a number of people seemed talented and powerful, much more than herself and she was interested in what was going to be the reason they were all selected. What linked everyone here.

Then a loud man shouted for her to move. It was rudely phrased in her mind but she couldn't argue with him. They needed to get shifting.

Following the group, there was a hangar where a ship was. It was not one of great appeal, barely looked space worthy but that was their only way out. "We can't fight them when they are that close to the ship. We need to pull a distract and pull them away. Maybe have them chase some prisoners while others attack from behind?" Aerona suggested to the group, she could tell that fighting face on would risk the integrity of the ship too much. Looking over to Nova Velez Nova Velez she offered a smile.

"Think you could hack into a ship's computer to get us out of here?" Aerona asked as she pulled out her pistol and Lightsaber, holding both ready to fight when they figured out how to draw the guards away from the ship.

Lyssara paid no heed to her fellow Miraluka at the moment; her primary focus was on escaping with her life intact. However, her concentration was briefly disrupted when a gruff and rude man arrived, barking orders as if she were a soldier under his command.
Letting out an exasperated sigh, Lyssara and the others began to move in search of salvation, or at least liberation from their current imprisonment. While Voreth informed the group about the ship and its guards, various suggestions were put forward, all of which were sensible plans. Nevertheless, a plan had already taken shape in Lyssara's mind, courtesy of Sherishtra, providing her with the means to break free.

Lyssara spoke aloud but not in a miraluka's native tongue or basic, but in something ancient and ominous. Every syllable dripped with power, and those attuned to the Force could sense the dark side growing stronger. Some might recognize the language as that of Dathomir.

As Lyssara uttered her words, darkness emerged from the very ground, permeating the atmosphere with a green haze rising from the floor. With her final incantation, "Pta yetu kte inaji, ku kicizapi!" the oppressive atmosphere dissipated, but the lingering haze remained. One by one, the deceased began to rise, wielding their weapons and advancing toward the prisoners. No amount of resistance could impede their relentless march.

The marching dead however were not after the survivors, instead they quickly turned on the pursuing guards and began to very quickly and violently tear them apart using whatever means they had. Another group of the dead began silently progressing toward the ship, the undead guards moved past Lyssara and Voreth. “They will create an opening for us, we’ll use that moment to attack.” She hid it well, using that particular magick was hard on her, perhaps that had been why Sherishtra hadn't wanted to share it with her earlier, but it mattered little that she would move forward and help take the ship.

Literal translation = "fallen dead, arise and fight!"

The naked man stood his ground behind the group for a few more moments while they advanced through the opening. Booms of the shotgun rang out through the hallway as he roared his challenge and warning to the pursuing guards.

Advance at your own peril.

After a minute or so passed he looked behind himself to see the rest of them had made it through the opening, and proceeded to fire the last two rounds of the shotgun's magazine before slinging it over his shoulder and grabbing the blaster rifle and spraying another few rounds down the hallway and retreating. He felt the voice in the back of his mind cackle at the thoughts it was entertaining at the moment. Flashes of blood and gore going through his mind as it pictured what it would do to the would be pursuers, and Kuben did his best to push it out of his fore thoughts as he caught back up with the group. A few shots rang down the tunnel behind him as the pursuers made their presence known, right before a new group of guards proceeded to make themselves known. Their eyes dead and blank, no breath on their lips. Kuben wrinkled his nose at the abominations as they were clearly not looking at him.

But behind him.

Suddenly a scream would be heard behind him as the guards were now under assault from both ends, and the very surroundings also seemed to be against them. Kuben took his chance and booked it to the rest of the group, pausing to take a knee as he topped off his magazine for the shotgun, listening to one of the members speak about some kind of plan. He looked behind him and then back to the ship as he saw the clearly undead closing. He wasted no words as he stood and racked a fresh shell home.

"No time for complicated plans. Push forward. Sweep. Clear. Slay all opposition. Try to keep damage low. Stay behind me,"

His breath grew heavy as he felt an adrenaline surge through his veins. A great shadow could be seen in his aura behind him, an inhuman smile forming as Kuben let his iron grip slip ever so slightly. He was going to need every ounce of power he could bear to get through this.

He started with a with a brisk walk forward, holding the shotgun by the pistol grip and the blaster rifle in his other hand. Steam rose from his body as a low growl escaped his lips, which escalated as his pace increased from a brisk walk to a jog, and then an outright sprint. An animalistic roar building as the rage fueled monster charged towards the ship, using the undead as a makeshift cover before bursting through their numbers. Two bodies being shoved just out of the way and into the ground as he barreled at the ramp with a rage fueled charge. One of the Trandoshans would go down the ramp to check on the source of noise, only to raise his blaster rifle in shock as he saw a crazed naked man with dead guards behind him.

It never reached his shoulder as Kuben without breaking stride coiled his shotgun like he was going to spear the Trando with it, before slamming it into the lizard's jaw and painting the ramp with the bits of skull, grey matter, and viscera as he fired the weapon once it slammed home. He would rip the weapon through the remnants of the enemy's skull as he charged up the ramp with his voice carrying through the ship. A beast had been let loose aboard.

And it wanted blood.

Aria dashed around the room, looking through the dead guards. Trying to sense for it before suddenly grinning. With a wave of her hand her saber flew right to her, gracefully catching and igniting the red beamed saber with flourish. "Oh I missed you baby." She said with a grin then seeing the others were rushing out, ran to join them. Turning to Nova Velez Nova Velez as she gave a decent case why this world was a good place to be brought as a slave. "Eh if you make it out that is. But seeing as we are about to point proven."

She stuck along with the group, on guard in case someone finally got close enough to start shooting, so least she wouldn't be shot. Whistling at Lyssara Talis Lyssara Talis for summoning a weapon to herself. "You must be fun at parties." She smirked at the weapon before gritting her teeth as the nude one Kuben Woods Kuben Woods started shouting orders like he was in any place to. If she wanted to take orders from anyone she'd not have decapitated her master. Lest he had the decency to wear pants. But this one had respectable murderous abilities so she went along with.

She took note as she heard talk from the other prisoners of their abilities to get out, but kept she kept her eyes out for any vents or her own personal means to get away. Regardless of their abilities she knew how to sneak away when others were looking else where, it was part of her profession. But she quickly found she wouldn't even need to do that.

They came upon the very ship that had taken them there. Encouraged by the same voice that saved them to storm it. "Well look at that, they were kind enough to leave the engines running for us." She grinned loving the idea that perhaps the same people who took them here were still on the ship, so she could thank them properly for this trip.

Quickly getting information from the rest about how many were on. She smirked and detached her lightsabers from each other and ignited the now twin blades. "Lightsabers in confined spaces favor those who have them." Of course the enemies might be heavily armed, and then it could be costly. But she liked her odds of being one of the people who survived the bloody melee that would follow. They just needed to have the encourgement to attack it.

However even storming it would be made easy as the witch came with another trick. Speaking words she didn't understand, Aria could feel the power radiate from them, taking a step back to see what new power she would unleash on these poor bastards, and she quickly got her answer as the dead themselves started to rise. A grin uncontrolable spread across her face as as she was absolutely thrilled to see such a power, she'd do anything to have that at her finger tips, and would make a point to seek it out.

Planning to wait till they were properly distracted, witch turned out to be all of 2 seconds. As the nude man barking orders had elected to take the full force of their fire power. Earning Aria's respect for being bold enough to attack and not instantly dying. "Well seems we have our opening." She said to encourage the others to start the assault, as she dashed after the berserker to see what lay inside the ship and stood in their way to freedom.
