Who the hell are you!?!?

Location: Ord Canfre
Abandoned Hangar
The Outer Rim Territories were a place of worlds that were largely uninhabited, or uncivilized, but had a variety of different uses. Ord Canfre was a world on the fringe of currently controlled Mandalorian space that had served as a Ordanance/Regional Depot. It seemed unlikely that much had changed. Yet despite the fact that Ord Canfre wasn't truly of any vast importance it did serve as a place where scavengers could loot relics from the past such as old machinery, weapons and anything else that might have been forgotten by one occupying force and missed by another. Ord Canfre wasn't an impressive world after all which meant that no one should really miss anything that was taken...

...cue Ordan Vosk who played the role of scavenger on this world. He came with all the trappings that any scavenger would need but key among these items were his Light Armor which was then overlapped by Armorweave, a perfect light weight combination that could work together efficiently. He kept his Blaster Rifle, Blas Tech E-11 model, strapped over his right shoulder and close to his side nd his Heavy Blaster Pistol was holstered at the moment. Otherwise he was toting that trust Knife of his too. Never leave home without that baby. He may have had a grenade or two on himself as well. It's a world on the Outer Fringe which meant he needed to be prepared...

...he'd come with a few private contractors he'd worked with in the past and set down near an old hangar that looked like it had been forgotten since this planet had changed hands the last dozen times. That meant there must have been something left inside of it. Vehicles weren't important here but weapons and ammunition were always a bonus. Moving inside the hangar Ordan set to work quickly and was already kneeling down beside several crates which he was prying open..."Come on."...he grunted before the crates lid finally popped open and he leaned forward to see what was inside....

Texam sighed heavily underneath her helmet. She hated doing patrol. Of all the lowly guard duties she got stuck with, it had to be patrolling a weapon cache. Like anyone would come to the manda-forsaken cestpit to do anything..... As she came around the corner into the main cache area, she heard someone rummaging through some of the crates. Finally, some action! Texam sprinted, planting her armor covered combat boot into the perpetrator's back before he could run. "Alright, dikkut. You've got two seconds to tell me who you are and what you're doing before I pull the trigger." She hissed through her helmet comm, jamming the barrel of her blaster rifle into the back of his skull.

...the crate had just come open when Ordan heard the heavy armored boots of someone rushing towards him from behind. Whirling around to face his assailant he would have started to rise to his feet, taking the foot meant to plant into his back off his side as he came around instead and using the motion of his body to press it away, before his arms shot out. As Texam started to jam her Blaster Rifle forward he'd have reached out to catch it by the barrel and turn it aside in one quick motion before giving her a shove backwards to free himself from the close quarters they would have been in...

...his own Blaster Rifle had been hanging off his shoulder by a strap and as he pushed back to shove Texam away he'd reach for his weapon and lift it to aim in her direction...
"Who the hell!?"...were the first words out of his mouth and he squeezed the trigger of the Blaster Rifle sending a barrage of bolts in her direction. Narrowing his eyes as he did this Ordan would have strafed to the side hoping to find cover behind an assortment of different crates filled with what was most likely weapons...

...he'd have seen her armor when he came around, heard her voice which he'd decided was feminine, and recognized her for what she was...
"You Mandalorians are all the same."....he spat out..."Don't start something you can't finish girl."...

Texam's armor took the first few blaster bolts before she took cover behind a wall of crates. "Only idiots would try to steal from Mandalorian weapon caches and expect them to be unguarded!" She spat back at him. "You obviously don't know us as well as you think. Here, lemme TEACH YOU!" She yelled. She took her blaster rifle in one arm, and whipped out her vibrosword with her other hand. She threw herself over the crates, firing her blaster at were he had taken cover. When she got close enough, she began slashing at him with her blade.

...after he'd moved away, strafing to the side, Ordan would have hunkered down behind several crates using them for cover as Texam started to fire her Blaster Rifle in his direction while advancing. Listening to her yell as she fired her Blaster Rifle he'd have ducked his head, humming a tune mentally, before she had thrown herself over the crates, Vibrosword in hand, and begun slashing at him at which time he'd had stood straight. When Texam came close enough to do some damage with her sword Ordan would have taken his Blaster Rifle in both hands and brought it up and across to block her attacks; the Vibrosword would have ruined the Blaster Rifle but they were in a hangar surrounded by crates of ordnance so a multitude of weapons would have been at hand. Using the Blaster Rifle he'd have pressed it against her Vibrosword...

...-pushing with the Blaster Rifle, the Vibrosword biting deep into it and rendering it mostly useless, Ordan would have shoved Texam's sword away from him before bringing the Blaster Rifle around in a quick snapping motion meant to drive the butt of the rifle across and into the underside of her jaw. It could still be useful as an improvised weapon. Then Ordan would spring at Texam, tossing his Blaster Rifle in the process, to cover the distance between the two of them, rendering her weapons at a disadvantage due to the decreased distance, and barrel into the Mandalorian Warrior...

"Come on! Come at me!"

...Ordan definitely knew the ins and outs of brawling and drop dead, all out, fighting which is why as he used his sudden surge of momentum to barrel at Texam he'd have attempted to grapple with her, his arm reaching out to take her sword wielding wrist while the other snaked into to hook her around the opposite hip, and the throw the both of them back over the crates that he'd just been using for cover...

Texam bent backward, avoiding the blow from his now useless blaster rifle. Before he could pull her to the ground, she tossed her own blaster aside and slammed her helmeted head into his forehead. She then brought up her leg and shoved her foot into his stomach, which would propel him backward slightly and force him to lose his grasp on her.

...as Texam snapped her head towards him Ordan would have turned his own so that he could take that helmed headbutt off the side of his face. Make no mistake it hurt, a lot, and he could swear that he felt hit teeth rattle and his bones bruise however he did not relinquish his hold that he'd been grappling to maintain. In fact at the close quarters they now found themselves struggling in Texam might have found it difficult to actually plant a literal foot into his gut however regardless of that Ordan would work his position to the best of his ability...

...his face stung like fire, if a regular headbutt was painful a helmed one had to be even more so, and he may have even suffered a fracture in his cheek bone below the eye however as Texam's foot came off the ground he'd had taken the opening. Bringing the hand he'd placed over her hip downwards he'd shift to draw it around behind her leg, underneath the thigh and then lower behind her knee, so that he could unbalance her as she tried to use her leg to kick him away. Then, maintaining his hold on her wrist, Ordan would twist at the waist so that he could fling her off-balance and throw her to the ground away from him....

...it was a messy maneuver but as soon as Ordan had twist his torso to make the throw he'd have lunged for Texam's discarded Blaster Rifle intent on snatching it up and using her own weapon against her...

Before Texam hit the ground, she angled her armored foot upward, so before she came down, she could give him a hard upper cut to his jaw. She then wrapped her legs around his own, her grip like iron. This way, he wouldn't be able to move anywhere at all.
[member="Ordan Vosk"]

...it was awkward to think of a foot coming up from underneath to deliver an uppercut to the underside of his jaw but after Ordan had made the throw he'd have brought his arm back and used its forearm to block the blow before it cracked his under the jaw completely. Using his arm he'd have drawn it up underneath his jaw, minimizing the effect when her armored foot came up to uppercut him underneath it but he was still snapped back from the impact just a little. This didn't deter Ordan at all though; he was used to bruises and being split open more than Texam might have been able to imagine. As Texam tried to wrap her legs around his own he'd have been mid lunge without any going back...

...her legs wouldn't actually capture him, he was lunging away from her, for the discarded Blaster Rifle, as she attempted to wrap up his legs causing him to become tripped up in the process. Ordan came down, stumbling forward due to his own momentum, until he landed hard on his chest well out of the reach of Texam on the hangar floor, which was a mixture of open earth and concrete, and his right hand went for the holster over his hip. The Heavy Blaster Pistol was still in its holster and as he came down Ordan would reach for it, pulling it free of the holster, before rolling over onto his back to take aim at Texam and squeeze the trigger...

...judging by the armor that Texam was wearing the blaster bolts probably wouldn't hurt her to badly, that's if they hit her anyways, but Ordan was hoping that he could slow her down if nothing else. Blood still visibly wept from the laceration on the side of Ordan's face where Texam had headbutt him with her helmet, his face had become swollen around the injury as well, it made him squint his eye as he fired his Blaster at her however a good deal of shock meant he wouldn't feel the worst of it yet...

Texam took this opportunity, with the man now on the floor and ready to shoot her, to jump up from the ground. Before the blaster bolts could hit her, Texam was on top of him. She began wrestling the blaster pistol out of his hand, all the while using her legs to keep him pinned to the ground. She got some fairly hard punches to his face, too.
[member="Ordan Vosk"]

...Ordan wasn't going to make it that easy for Texam, he wouldn't just lay there on his back aiming his blaster while she leapt onto him and pinned him to the ground, and as the Mandalorian woman came at him he'd act. Now that Ordan was on his back he'd be able to see Texam jumping onto her feet and coming at him, trying to get on top of him, and he'd respond by bringing his legs back to his chest and then kicking them out towards her torso as she tried to come down on him. After all he'd have been foolish to just lay there on his back, aiming the blaster, and let her get atop him. He'd try to time the kick of his legs as Texam was coming down over him so that her own momentum would meet the extension of his legs and rattle her before he tried to shove her back and away as his legs finished their extension outwards...

...if he was able to kick her back Ordan was hoping Texam would have been thrown offbalance, maybe even back to the ground, however regardless of the outcome it would have meant she hadn't been able to reach out and take hold of his blaster to wrestle him for it nor had she landed those heavy handed punches of hers. If at all possible Ordan would have preferred not to take anymore hard shots to his face; the one he'd taken had busted him up on one side enough. Then, after his legs had kicked out to thrust Texam away, Ordan would have taken aim and squeezed off a shot from the Heavy Blaster Pistol as intended, aiming for the Mandalorian's center mass...

...he'd have reached out with his free hand too and started climbing back onto his feet...

Texam would, at this point, dodge the bolt from the man's blaster. She would remove the knife from her belt and come back in for a second assault. She would notice that he was attempting to get up. At which point, she would begin kicking at his torso. She would then take her knife and jab it into his wrist to keep him fromtrying to shoot her again.

[member="Ordan Vosk"]

...already on his way back up onto his feet Ordan would caught the first kick she made in his ribs, the fact she was wearing heavy armor and he was only dressed in armorweave underneath light armor punctuated this fact, and he'd groan before falling back down to a knee. His lungs burnt, his side throbbed, and he opened his mouth to suck in a deep breath while fighting to maintain his composure through the pain. By the time Texam made her second kick Ordan would have been prepared though, he'd use his lower elevation down on a knee to his advantage, and binging one arm across he'd have shielded his side as much as possible before surging ahead...

...springing towards the Mandalorian woman Ordan would have passed underneath her knife as she jabbed for his wrist, it caught his bicep instead but the armorweave he was wearing should be enough soak enough of the blow as the blade sliced against it and sunk in, while leading with his shoulder to put it into her gut. He'd counted on his being low and springing up into her from such a close distance as being to his advantage. Putting his shoulder forward, towards her, as he sprung Ordan would have rammed ahead to shoulder tackle Texam the difference being instead of trying to throw her onto the ground he would lift up in a move meant to bring her over his shoulder...

...he'd charged forward, his legs tense, across the hangar the two of them had been fighting through and wrestling over and if he had Texam in his hold he'd lurch ahead as he came upon a stack of crates, whipping himself forward at the waist, and attempt to throw her off him down through the stack and onto her back...

Texam grunted as she was now over the man's shoulder. As they were moving, she would lurch all of her body weight, which was increased due to her armor, to one side. This would cause tremendous pressure on the man's neck. It would either send him back to the ground, or make him stumble enough to lose his hold on her.
[member="Ordan Vosk"]

...putting pressure on his neck when she shifted her body weight to one side was uncomfortable,especially due to her armor, however Ordan wasn't going to let her get off that easy. He did stumble, lose his footing a bit, but instead of just letting her go while he had Texam up and over his shoulder he'd have planted his lead foot to give himself a base before outstretching his arms in a quick thrust to throw Texam back off of him. It might not have been into the crates as he'd originally planned but Ordan would have worked with it and was equally as happy to both relieve the pressure she'd created as well as hurl her back off him in a single move. Afterwards he'd have rushed her again not willing to let up...

...Ordan was actually quite a brutal man, this had been quite a brutal battle too, and even though she was wearing armor he'd have raced up after throwing her back off him, which may have even been what she'd intended, and draw his trailing leg backwards before snapping it ahead hard. As soon as his lead foot had planted itself on the ground his other would follow through with a massive soccer kick meant to snap Texam's helmed head backwards and leave her more than a little groggy. No doubt her armor would soak up a lot of the impact but the means didn't defeat the goal and Ordan was sure that even if his kicked landed against her helm instead of her face it still couldn't have felt good. With any luck he'd even snap her head backwards. There wasn't a lot of time between the throw to get rid of Texam and the kick that followed it; Ordan had dashed towards her not more than a moment after he'd pressed his arms outwards...

...then he was lifting one of his arms to the side of his neck, his face still throbbed and his ribs ached butb he'd felt a lot worse. He backpedaled giving himself a bit of room away from Texam before grunting out..
."All this for a cache and a few crates?"...it really suprised him considering that she was the only one that seemed to be out here. Look around and the discarded blasters and other items belonged to one of them, the exact one to be determined if the equipment was collected, and more then a few crates, and their contents, had suffered from blaster damage. Well hell why stop now? Wiping a bit of blood leaking from the side of his face where he'd been headbutt near the beginning of this engagement he'd have shook his head..."Why don't you take off that helmet? I thought Mandalorians liked to look the people they fought in the eye."...

Texam gritted her teeth and braced herself when his foot came for her head. She shifted slightly so that her helmet would take most of the damage. It still dazed her a bit though. She stood up quickly, ready for anything else that might be thrown at her. When he asked her to take off her helmet, she did so. She removed it from her head, shaking her messy strawberry-blonde hair out a bit. She tossed the her helmet to the ground. Her green-gold eyes narrowed at him. "There. Are you satisfied now, dikkut? Or do you want me to get you some refreshments, too?" She hissed.
[member="Ordan Vosk"]

..."Now that you mention it a drink wouldn't be to bad."...he'd have smirked after she'd made her comment but it easy to tell that after the helmet came off Ordan was watching her closely seeing as how he could see her face now. Without the helmet it was even more clear that he was facing a woman, a Mandalorian one at that, just his luck but he couldn't help but chuckle at her a bit before he remarked..."Now look you've got some good hits in on me but you're out here all alone sweetheart."...it sounded less endearing than it was meant to..."Why don't you just give up a few of these crates and we can go our separate ways."...

...to Ordan it sounded like a reasonable compromise, after all who is to say he didn't have a ship waiting for him and men that could ambush Texam too, besides that out on a backwater planet no one would even know that some of the ordnance from this cache was missing. It was fairly obvious that the Mandalorians didn't have much activity on this world.
"What do you say?"...he seemed amiable enough now that she wasn't trying to bust his skull open but Ordan was cautious, he hadn't come within arms reach of her meaning that she would need to close the distance to engage him again which would be entirely her choice...

...sore ribs, bleeding from the side of his face Ordan wagered he felt worse than her however she had that heavy Mandalorian armor on too, that is a bit of an advantage, maybe if she took it off the fight would be a bit fairer though Ordan was used to fighting dirty all the same...
