Who Shall Call Them from the Grey Twilight, the Forgotten People?

Ultimatum was saddened by the acts that she spoke of. Was it too much for the Jedi to see those that were loyal and those that were not? The droid had wanted to meet the Jedi, hoping that they were the opposite of the Sith he had had to deal with. Ryn had been a good Jedi friend, and an example that he hoped the rest of the Order would follow. What he heard now said otherwise. What happened to the Jedi of the old stories? It was probably time, they had lost something he guessed.

"I will support whichever way you wish to go. But perhaps you should speak to this Jedi and perhaps you could explain to him. If it does not work out, then I sympathize the Republic for its ignorance, from what I have seen you are nothing less than a patriot fighting for a cause you believe in, exactly how the Republic formed. If they cannot understand that then they require more history lessons."

"Thank you [member="Ultimatum"] , you are a true friend. I will do as you suggest and let you know how it goes. I'd like to think of myself as a patriot and I want nothing but good things for the Republic. Their people need to feel hope again. Hope for their government and hope for themselves. Maybe in the future they'll gain that."

Time was ticking and she needed to get ready. "I'll make up a couple of contracts for your company and hand them off to the Supreme Chancellor for consideration. Hopefully you hear from him soon. But I should be going and get those set up. Thank you again. For everything."

Ultimatum bowed his head before looking again at [member="Lady Kay"] saying, "Thank you for being willing to speak with me. It has been a pleasure to work with you. I hope that everything will go smoothly with your endeavors. Take care."

He cut the transmission before turning back to begin preparing orders. It would not be difficult to begin the production and ships that moved the equipment and supplies needed would be easy enough. It would just take time. Which was why he had to begin immediately. Dallying was a more deadly foe than any single organic. Given the situation he had to begin work as soon as possible, so that the work could be accomplished and the clones taken care of.

The droid wondered if he would make new droids for the specific purpose of teaching the clones, or if he would just reuse older designs for the same purpose. It was a question of much importance since these were fully grown men coming out of a life of war into one of more peace than they had been used to. He would decide as time went on, first things first the necessary cybernetics.
