Who Liberates You? (Mia)

Siobhan smiled brightly and pulled her bond sister into a hug before giving her a kiss. "Thanks for understanding, darling. You know you have my complete confidence. As soon we can, I'm taking you on vacation. No buts," she added firmly, though she had the feeling that she would have to get creative.

Maybe tie Mirien up and put her on a luxury yacht? "You want to come meet Mia? She's showing Galina her ship right now." Both obviously knew how terrified Galina was of flying, but maybe the former Mand'alor could help her there.

"Yes, it gets a little easier." Mia assured her. Did it though? Did it get easier? Or was it simply the way Mia dealt with things that allowed her to deal with her own issues? When things went wrong, she threw herself at every fight she could. Perhaps it was for reassurance, she was fearless on the battlefield, therefore, fearless in all life. Though she knew that was not true.

"Its Mando'a , the language of my...of the Mandalorians." She drew her own deep breath and exhaled, letting the slight tension in her shoulders go. "It means 'little one'. A term of endearment parents normally use for their children. Steady your breathing." The instruction was spoken softly. "I can teach you Mando'a, if you'd like? Laekia is in Levantine space but we're close to the Mandalorians so we may meet a few."

It was some relief to the Firemane to know it would eventually get a little easier. Even a tiny bit would be progress enough for her. She'd take what she could get with it, with getting over her fears, or at least being able to better face them. "Ah, I see. That makes sense. I was just wondering... I still learning basic. Still trying to catch up, so I wondered if it was just a Basic word that I'd not encountered before, but another language, Mando'a makes sense." She said softly.

Then the young woman gave a nod, and took a couple slow deep breaths. In and out... In and out, you're fine. Still on the ground, you're fine. Safe. Perfectly safe right here. Galina finally nervously stepped a foot onto the boarding ramp, then the other. A couple more quick steps, and she turned her back to the ship. Taking a seat beside Mia she stared down at her hands. A smile then crossed her lips as she thought about the word, and it's meaning. "I like that word. Ad'ika. Like what it means, and how it's used." Reaching up, she ran a slow hand through her hair, trying to focus on anything else but the ship right then, "I would love that. It seems an interesting language from what I've heard of it. Always love to learn more." She said softly, her gaze settling back upon the Villa, still working hard to keep her mind off of where she was sitting at that very moment.

"Of course dear," She smiled softly, knowing just how protective she was of her newly adopted family, of Siobhan, Tegaea and Galina and the many other ladies that were in that group. Then she lifted a brow, "I don't need a vacation. I'll just get bored." Mirien said with a sigh.

"I suppose I could set my work aside for a moment or two and meet her. After all, she's important to you, which makes her important to me." And truthfully while she did have a ton of information to look through that day, a break was probably something the brunette needed.

"Miri, love, listen to the woman who's head over heels in love with you: You sooo need a vacation. And since I'll be there with you, you'll never get bored. Am I right?" This was the sort of question where it was best to nod and agree with your lover. Especially since this one happened to have a bit of an ego. She flashed the brunette a smile, then took her hand and led her out of the room, clearly not giving Mirien a chance to change her mind! "Come on, darling, let's go find Mia."
