Dark Siren
Natassia remained silent for a moment, taking small sips from her drink, once more giving Serenna some shy glances, her eyes never having enough of her face. She knew that it probably looked weird for the chiss, but she couldn't help it. There was something about her, her aura, her face, her behavior, whatever it was, that called out to the human - and she felt slightly frustrated when she found out she couldn't exactly put her finger on why. It wasn't just because she had helped her; there was more to it, something greater, deeper, stronger. Finally, she dared to turn around and face the alien, trying to hide how exquisite the sensation was as she felt a gloved finger circling on her back.
"No", said the trooper as she finally dared to look into these red eyes that reminded her of bright stars on a calm night. "You don't have to thank me. I want to thank you, Serenna. Ever since I've woken up, I've felt lonely, with nobody to really talk to. But you... you are looking past this white armor I wear, you are looking past what I seem to be. And I thank you for it."
She fell silent once more, slowly placing one of her tanned hands onto the purple-haired woman's leg, the white fabric smooth under her touch.
