Arana was the most natural advancement upon W-5 after Mariah discovered she possessed the force.. Although at first glance, the model at best has taken on a more human look, got some better ion resistance, and in return for that, lost considerable equipment options, W-6 actually is designed with the force in mind. Connected to Mariah in a manner quite similar to that of Sith Familiar, allowing her to control her with her mind and use her powers in the force through her, should she choose not to use the headset or an implant to control her. And she can nearly become totally united with it to such a degree it is almost as though it has become Mariah.
The W-6 can do almost anything a human can in terms of combat potential, and operational functions. Barring organic required interactions, as well as that the machine, while extremely durable to it, still could be brought down with sufficient ION/EMP weaponry. It is slightly above human in physical attributes, mainly speed and maneuverability, but nothing cybernetics couldn’t exceed. Instead it’s combat prowess relies far more on the fact Mariah can use the force through it.
It does still have risks, it is durable, but actually less so than it’s predecessor W-5. And an ysalimir field can limit or fully cut off Mariah’s connection through the force to it depending on the extent she formed prior. Thus possibly requiring that she utilize the headset, or hope the AI can stand in sufficiently until it gets out of range or succeeds in it’s objective. In theory, she could use the droid in tandem with herself, but the force powers are still only those of Mariah, and it would be no more powerful of a total result for her to shoot lightning from her own fingertips to hit someone than from both her and her droids.
- Imbued proxy: The W-6 is a massive step up from her predecessor, W-5. While W-5 was controlled by a headset, or via his own more standard AI, Arana is directly subjucated to Mariah in the force to such a degree she acts as an extension of her, designed both to function like a sith familiar and able to be completely directly controlled. Personally connected to Mariah’s desires. Allowing Mariah to use Arana at a further range than a signal could usually reach. At it's utmost, if Mariah is prepared to enter a state of advanced meditation, Arana essentially becomes Mariah. Not just a subjugation of her. Although if Mariah loses concentration, her mind will be stunned back into its own body where it belongs, this allows her to resist most methods against her, such as an enemy attempting Mechu-Deru, and even offers some resistance to Ysalimir. Though it only really allows Mariah to maintain her connection in such a case, rather than simply power through or subvert it. Thus relying on the droids attributes and mariah's mind, at the loss of her actual force powers.
- Still like her predecessor, W-6 still can be commanded via pre-authorized devices and a headset that reads Mariah’s brain waves. Or an implant she authorizes. This system also was given a massive signal booster in the torso that should reach much further than a standard system and with pre-set coding to get through most signal jamming equipment
- AI: Arana possesses full Artificial_intelligence equipped with combat modules, and with numerous slicer-inhibitors. This is more so Mariah doesn’t have to constantly command her and in case mariah goes unconscious or is too weak in the force.
- Built with slightly superhuman physical attributes like most cyber4netics offer. However is not quite as advanced as W-5 was in this regard, instead relying on the force connection and having similar speed.
- Able to function like a sith-familiar for Mariah or even nearly as Mariah herself.

- Ysalimir fields can still disrupt any force powers of the droid, just wouldn’t shut it down. If Mariah is not in perfect unison with the droid, it will also shut her out of it through the force and prevent her from returning until it is out of the field. Thus forcing her to rely on the headset.
- The connection she forms with the droid when in unison means she's actually able to feel it if the droid gets damaged, and while the droid would be what's being damaged not her body, mental assaults would function nearly as if she were present.
