Where you heading?

It’s just tequila and the beach
There was always so much in this galaxy to see and experience that Token forgot that she had a list of all the things she wanted to do. Making trips were how she was apparently going to be doing it. And with Sindy off being important and having a real job, that left Token to do a bit of unsupervised wandering. Was that a good thing? Mostly, but knowing Token, she would get herself in trouble sooner or later.

Maybe she should just keep to places she knew… But really, where was the fun in that? There were places that she needed to see, and at times, it was just fun to get up and go!

She’d be gone only a few days, but there was something she wanted to see out on the Rim. Sindy would understand, and maybe not even realize she was missing. It wasn’t that she was going that far… only out to the Rim, away from CIS space, alone.

Still, she had landed on... was it Cholganna? She thought it could have been, fine, and there was a place to go. The bar! And from there, she figured she would hear more about the local excitement, well, that was the hope. Siding up to the bar, she sat on one of the stools. There was bound to be someone to listen to, right? Looking around before ordering something simple, water, she smiled. The ambiance of some of these off-the-path places were the best.

Was that strange of her to think?

Kaiden had just finished a job on.... Cholganna, was it? Blast it all, he didn't know the names of these odd planets he'd only been to once. Was this all he was going to do for the rest of his life? Odd jobs, trying to make ends meet by going from Point A to Point B, shooting this man at Point B then back to Point A to collect pay? He'd done it for years, it was honestly getting kind of tedious. Kaiden knew he needed a change of scenery, but where was a man like him, where combat was all he'd been trained to do, going to find a change of scenery?

Wasn't like he had much place to go. So he decided to hop into the nearby cantina bar for a drink. Nothing like drowning your sorrows in a cold drink, right?

He took a breath as he walked in, his gaze crossing those of the other patrons. A green rodian with a brown vest, a blonde haired female, a wookiee with a bit too much dirt noticably covering his fur... They all looked like violent sorts, save the girl. Kaiden didn't plan on finding out.

Adjusting his vibroblade on his back, the Mercenary sighed and took a seat.

"Coreillian Ale, please" the young man asked the bartender. He nodded in thanks as it was poured and slid to him. That last job he had had been... Unsettling. But he supposed it was better then bringing a predator who experimented on children in to have a real job with the Confederacy. They HAD promised him that the man would be dealt with when they were done with him, but Kaiden sometimes wondered if they would keep that promise....

This world was really not getting a good rep, what, with two people on it that forgot its name? Had Token known this was happening, she would have felt bad for the world. And tried to do something to make it feel better. Pick up litter, or plant a tree, or save a cat in a tree, something crazy and really more useless than anything. That was just how she was, honestly. She had a passion for living things. Knowing them and making them work, and doing what she could for them. Her father always said she wouldn’t make it in his chosen field of intergalactic shipping, and he was right.

Token was too social and… free-loving of a person for that. Kind of like how she wasn’t going to be level grindingquesting taking odd jobs that she didn’t care for. But she also had the financial backing to support her life style. The galactic super tramp was actually starting to feel comfortable with having a home again. Was that wrong of her? She hoped not.

Even if her home would be Corellia, the Confederacy had taken her and Sindy in, well, Sindy in, and Token kind of followed along. Really, that was what it was. But Token didn’t really have useful skills. You know, like nunchuck skills, bow hunting skills, computer hacking skills She was a student of people and society. Was that useless or what?

Corellian ale? Everyone loved her homeworld! Yes! She looked over and smiled at the boy-man-person with one of her overly effervescent smiles. “You from there?” She nodded to his drink. “Corellia, I mean.” She laughed at herself.

Poor world. Two of it's occupants didn't know or care about it's name. Oh well, not like anyone roleplayed here most of the time anyway. These two would probably never visit it again, sadly. Or maybe they would? Who knows.

Kaiden took a sip of his drink and started to relax a bit. It was good to unwind after a mission, forget the unsanitary work he had to deal with 24/7... Maybe it was time to retire. Oh wait, he couldn't do that, then what would he do? There wasn't exactly anything much for someone of his specialty to do outside mercenary work.

His stupor would be inturrupted by the blonde woman. Social butterfly, eh? Well, it would be nice to have someone to talk to at least.

"Naboo, actually" he said. "I just like the taste" he said with a small laugh. "Yes, I'm sure it's fun to live in the planet of Corellian Ale. It must be wet there" he joked, grinning to himself.

It was kind of sad how that sort of thing happened, sometimes people just were able to block out where they were, they just kind of… were traveling, or busy, or had a bajillion other things on their mind. Token was more the first and last of the three options. But that was her typical state anyhow. Goofball.

Right, she was being a bother, wasn’t she? Her father always used to warn her not to do that, but she wasn’t… she didn’t not listen, still, it sometimes came out that way, for the obvious reason of her butting into everyone’s business. Silly girl, really, but she was just trying to be friendly, really!

Naboo? That was a lovely world! See? This was the fun part of interrupting people, and wasn’t that why they came to bars like this? Maybe, sometimes. Definitely not all the time, y’know, privacy and all that. She nodded to boy-man, he liked the Ale, that was a good thing. “Wet? Well, we are a terrestrial world, with our oceans.” She blinked. “But we don’t have the fish-people y’all got.”

She wasn't bothering him at all, really. He didn't mind the company. If anything, it was kind of nice. Nice to have someone friendly to talk to instead of the unsavory sorts he had to work for all the time.

He laughed a bit. "The Gungans?" he asked. "Yeah, they're a little nuts. But it's part of Naboo's charm" he said with a grin. "Never gotten a chance to go to Corellia. Might have to stop by sometime and see what all the hooplah is about" he added.

"So, what brings a good looking gal like you to these parts?" he asked, leaning against the counter with a cheeky grin.

Company was always good. It was the best way to learn the galaxy, and learn about people, and who you were. It was the fun part of everything. When he mentioned the Gungans, she lit up a bit. They were goofy! It was almost comical, she wondered what it was like to live among them. Was it fun? Or not so fun? “They’re a bit silly, huh?”

But having not been to Corellia? “You need to go! We’ve got out patriotism, but still, it’s a fun place to go.” She loved it there, when she went home, that was.

Good looking? She giggled a bit, before twirling her hair. “Well, I’m just on my way back home, well, from home home to my new home!” Or current home, as the case could be. She hoped not, she liked the Confederate space. "What're you doing out here?"
