It’s just tequila and the beach
There was always so much in this galaxy to see and experience that Token forgot that she had a list of all the things she wanted to do. Making trips were how she was apparently going to be doing it. And with Sindy off being important and having a real job, that left Token to do a bit of unsupervised wandering. Was that a good thing? Mostly, but knowing Token, she would get herself in trouble sooner or later.
Maybe she should just keep to places she knew… But really, where was the fun in that? There were places that she needed to see, and at times, it was just fun to get up and go!
She’d be gone only a few days, but there was something she wanted to see out on the Rim. Sindy would understand, and maybe not even realize she was missing. It wasn’t that she was going that far… only out to the Rim, away from CIS space, alone.
Still, she had landed on... was it Cholganna? She thought it could have been, fine, and there was a place to go. The bar! And from there, she figured she would hear more about the local excitement, well, that was the hope. Siding up to the bar, she sat on one of the stools. There was bound to be someone to listen to, right? Looking around before ordering something simple, water, she smiled. The ambiance of some of these off-the-path places were the best.
Was that strange of her to think?
