Docking Bay 17, Mos Eisley Spaceport
Tatooine

Phantom had his instruction. To wait for her arrival in Docking Bay 17 in Mos Eisley Spaceport.

Thanks to an informer from Tatooine, who did seem pretty fearful for his life on arrival, he had been given this nugget of information to meet a lady who had reason to want to see him. Of course his interest was pricked by someone asking to see him, but it was probably just another being with a score to settle or a problem to be removed from her life that he could help with.

He watched the buzz of the spaceport with sly eyes. Twi'leks, Wookiees and horrid Rodians all passed by him. He didn't know what species this contact was, but he wasn't a hard face to miss in a crowd. Dressed in dark crimson and black and having half his face covered by a white Durasteel mask, he wasn't exactly shy of hiding away.

Crossing his arms, he waited. But he wouldn't hang around forever.

There was one she had heard of, from across the stars. She had become quite the connoisseur of fickle beings, that is to say the deadly knives in the dark, thus it was only natural that she gravitated toward another with just as poor a street-reputation as the others... And considering the business, that made for the best kind. Nobody wanted an Assassin who was so incompetent that he was well known. But she had heard all the same, down the pipeline. But only because of her little birds, the contacts she had across the Galaxy.

And thus it was that she had ended up braving the fierce sunlight of Mos Eisley. If he had expected her to dock her ship in the specific port then he was sadly mistaken, however it did allow her to oberve him from a distance. He was good at mingling, making it seem as if he wasn't of any importance in a crowd, despite the fiercely white mask upon half of his face. For now she watched, waiting to see how his patience fared...

It was a good job this spaceport wasn't one of the larger main ones, crowds weren't Phantom's favourite thing. Too many faces could see him; too many witnesses; too many opportunists. Pushing away from the wall sandstone wall he rested on, he slowly walked mere steps sideways to have another view into the spaceport. There was still nothing on arrival, no ships or yachts of any kind.

His hand reached up and gently pushed the mask over the right side of his face. The heat wasn't helping the pain and discomfort he was feeling, but it was something he was used to; it didn't phase him, but it made him stronger and more focused. Hopefully this girl wouldn't be much longer because he didn't appreciate the twin suns bearing down on him.

Inclining his head, he made a sweep from left to right, slowly and discreetly, watching and taking in everything in his sight. Commuters, droids, drunks, citizens, soldiers.

Time to move.

If he was being played, they would soon make it clear and he would know as he started to move towards the exit out into the city.

She did not move to follow him immediately; she did not need to, his presence in the Force was unique, as was everyones, and if it was one thing she had learnt over the years, it had been to pick up on and harness that presence. As such she waited until he was already out of the spaceport before subtly following after him. There was no need to let him see her, this was an observationalist game, and even he knew that.

When fully outside, with the harshness of twin suns beating down upon her, she blended into the crowds. She wondered where it was he was going, he didn't truly believe he had been stood up, of that she was certain. So she followed after him, immersed in the shadows of other beings, small enough to blend in without warranting suspicion. The heat was fierce, especially for one with as fair skin as she, but she didn't let it bother her.

It would be worth the wait, she knew, all she required was a little more time to judge his character. Patience was key.

The sun bore down on him, so he decided to seek the shade and continue to wait. Only this time outside of the spaceport itself. Being a little bit more out in the public eye may help and cover his tracks should he need to get away quickly, for he was sure this was part of the waiting game.

That, or she really was late. Or worse, already dead before she could get to him.

He reached the large shell of a starship jutting out of the sandy ground from eons ago, but now propped up as a sight of the city and part of the historical landmark of the planet from a war long forgotten. Phantom pulled over a small barrel from under the shell and dragged it to be in the shade, and he turned and sat down, resting his arms on his knees, his greatcoat carefully moved to the side as not to dirty it.

Looking like another vagrant taking his breath or waiting for an accomplice, he just sat again and waited. He could see pretty much everything from here now across from the spaceport and the streets populated with speeders and the odd being led by a master.

His eyes flicked from one being to another constantly, watching and waiting.

He knew she was here. He just knew it. And knew she'd probably have eyes on him too.
