Where Did They Go? (OS Dominion of the Lialic System)

"Why we still waiting?" The Hutt had returned but didn't sit down, but looked through the window with irritation.

"Well, somehow I suspect they won't let us enter the atmosphere until they give us clearance," Melori smiled, confident that he wouldn't detect her sarcasm.

"Tell them we need to land now," he ordered angrily. "We have business." He looked at her expectantly.

She reminded herself that he was just hired muscle. He couldn't know the stupidity of his suggestion "This isn't Nar Shaddaa. They have rules here," she smiled patiently.

"We break no rules." He shrugged and looked at her suspiciously. "They should be expecting us. You call now."

"Listen friend, just because I let you up here doesn't make you co-pilot." She looked him in eye with firm resolve. "This is my ship, and I'm in charge."

She leaned her chair back against the console, projecting an air of relaxed confidence. "We wait until they confirm. That's the way it works."

She watched the wheels turn slowly in his head as he considered how to react. His puzzled expression suggested he would back down, but then it ceased to be an issue.

"Your codes have been verified. Welcome." The voice of the security was no friendlier than it had been before. "Please proceed directly to the coordinates we've sent."

Now it was Melori's turn to look puzzled. She sat up with a start and keyed into the communication console.

Nomkneer was in a deep mental sleep as Erebos walked his mind gazing at all thoughts and everything lurking inside. After Erebos had found the darkness hidden within the mind of the kaleesh, it would react with a mind of its own, uncontrolled by anyone or anything the darkness took shape to whatever it knew the most and that was Nomkneer. Suddenly the darkness had shaped into a pit black version of the silhouette of the kaleesh. As he would be unconscious due to the control of the darkness and the inmense power it had stored for several years now, it could even respond on time to Erebos' movements

After some time in the fight Erebos had grabbed Nomkneer and shook him to wake him up, the words of his dear master reached in the deepest part of his mind and as it echoed everywhere, the kaleesh had heard it, faintly but he did. A sweet echo went inside Nomkneers ears as his master would scream for him to wake up in another part of his mind facing the darkness. Suddenly he reacted and slowly started to awake and as he regained his consciousness all he could see was his master sending a powerful force lightning directed to the shadow standing in front of them, sadly it wasn't enough to defeat the darkness.

"what... what is that.. how did it... do that?"

He spoke while standing to help his master tame the darkness within himself, he looked down and he saw no lightsabers at his weist. Nomkneer knew he was in his own mind and he didn't understand the power or capabilities one could have inside it.

"If only i'd have my lightsabers"

He looked back once more only two see his two lightsabers on his hips waiting to be switched on and used against the monster standing ground against the two sith warriors. Things were finally going their way, Nomkneer had awaked and had his lightsabers with Erebos at his side, who better than his master to help him seize and control its power.

"Master, this thing is the cause which last time i had lost my senses and went into some berserk mode. I just couldn't control the sudden surge of powerful dark force"

Nomkneer spoke as he stood his ground side by side with [member="Darth Erebos"], both ready to finish this so that the young acolyte could finish with his training and not fall back on Pyrrhus' teachings.

Cole had tried desperately to attempt to defend himself from Garivald's attack, however he was quite unsure on the proper technique to do so. What Cole had done was try to use the force to keep up some sort of protective layer, but he was either very unsuccessful or it was not the proper way to defend against one entering his mind. Either way, Cole felt frustrated that not only could he not keep Garivald out, it didn't seem that it took Garivald very much effort to enter. Gah... Either way, I now know that it is something I need to work on.

Once Garivald had removed himself from Cole's mind, he had decided to get right to it. He had hoped that he would gain an advantage to starting so quickly, as Garivald had done to him. Cole thought back to what he had done to the prisoner, found his aura of fear and latched onto it. Cole reached out to Garivald's presence and began to probe around, as he had done to his prisoner. It shouldn't be nearly as easy, but Cole found confidence, if nothing else. Cole kept up with the monotony of prodding and probing, attempting to enter Garivald's mind.

The more he observed the shadow the more he began to understand something innate with it and something [member="Nomkneer"] would be able to learn in the future, a future that would only be plausible if [member="Nomkneer"] would able to beat this shadow self of his. Erebos did understand one thing however after trading blows with the thing and interacting with it like he had, whatever this thing was he wouldn't be able to destroy it himself. "[member="Nomkneer"], this is the darkness in your mind. You have to beat it here and now while I can help you but I can only help you and guide you. This thing is of your own making and you in the end are the only one capable of mastering it or destroying it." A large near invisible tendril came out of the raised hand that Erebos now held up, he then turned towards [member="Nomkneer"] and shot that tendril into him. [member="Nomkneer"] would feel Erebos's power pour into him and the tendril would move to come into the middle of his back and tether into the same spot on Erebos's own back. This way Erebos could lend his power to [member="Nomkneer"] should he need it but now he was simply content with infusing [member="Nomkneer"]'s muscles with his power, augmenting his speed, reflexes, strength and agility to higher degree's than ever before.
Meanwhile Erebos shut off his own saber and placed it onto his waist as he then began to gather his power in between his hands, causing sparks and then full flames to appear.

(The Sass Train is out the door, ladies and gents...But don't worry. It's still just outside. :p hahaha)

Mr. Bob found himself to be, suddenly and unequivocally, alone.

The door was, of course, shut. As such, when Jack was flung through the air by Darth Pyrrhus' hand, he logically hit the door to the conference room with a sickening crunch. His body flattened against it then started banging against the closed doors in a seemingly comedic effort to get past them. Finally, after the second time, the doors opened and he went through the opening.

He tumbled like a rag doll across the ground and the doors slammed shut behind him. Jack stumbled to his feet and raised both middle fingers to the closed door before dropping to a knee. He felt the back of his head with his hand and then looked at it. Blood was on his gloved hand and he was feeling woozy. He started to sway, but then the guards came and caught him before he fell.

He woke up a few minutes later. He was in a makeshift medical zone set up in case of injury of those on duty. His head throbbed with pain as he felt someone do something with the back of his head. He kept his mouth shut and didn't betray his emotions or annoyance as the medical tools were used to heal him. He sat through it and waited for the all clear. When he was released, he didn't look back. He simply said "Thank you..." on the way out.

"Kark them all...Well, not all of them, but still...." whispered Jack to himself. You didn't need to be an invasive little brain worm to get what you wanted in life. Life was full of distractions. If they thought HE was that big of a threat to their ability to use and train in the Force, wait until they tried to focus in the middle of a battlefield with clones flanking you and mortar shells raining death upon you, just like he had dealt with alongside Darth Erebos.

"Book worm pansies. The WHOLE lot of them!" He used the Force to help him kick a folding chair into the wall across from him.

"Well, not the WHOLE lot...Gah! Whatever." He wasn't interested in going back in there. That room, besides his complicated friend Nonkneer and his master, was filled with strangers who were okay with violating random non-combatants for the sole purpose of teaching a dreary lesson on hijacking minds. There was also a strong wise guy, likely whoever the teacher was, who was too lazy and/or cowardly to deal with Jack directly. Jack wasn't sure and didn't care for whatever justification was being used. Sure, yeah, cool, "Evil R Us" concept and all for mental domination. WOO HOO! Getting valuable info this way is an AWESOME IDEA.

However, the way they're going about it was a waste of time, a violation of all the ethics and inefficient. Get in, get out and save that quadrant of space during a war or uncover the assassination plot. You don't need to be a jerk and make some poor sod your clown. You don't need to attack a defenseless prisoner who did nothing to provoke you.

Regardless, they were all probably laughing at him. They probably thought he was an imbecile or a fool. I'm looking at you, Rys. >:^} They probably thought he was an upstart doomed to fail. Well, it was them who were doomed to fail. While they were learning how to act like brain parasites, he was going to learn real skills. They could think what they wanted, but they'd be sorely under-prepared to back up their spiteful words if they ever voiced them to him. Try dominating Jack during a duel when his psyche was a honey comb of other people's horrifying memories.

Jack felt much better now. He realized that he had subconsciously walked over, picked up the chair and sat in it while he was thinking about all of this. He got up, satisfied at his lot in the galaxy. He walked out the front doors and didn't look back. They'd see him again. They'd like him or lump him, but they wouldn't shove him around. He'd get back at them and show them all! Someday...Someday.... >:^}

(BTW, since some people might have trouble separating IC personality and OOC narration, I feel the need to stress that I am not angry at anyone. This is all what Jack is experiencing in his head and in the world around him. Enjoy the sass from beyond the room. ;^P )

Nomkneer had recovered completely and gained power beyond what he had imagined after Erebos infused it to him, the dark being stood there gazing without eyes. It knew that this would be the final battle against Nomkneer after all these years of torment and insanity. The kaleesh took a jar'kai stance and rushed forward towards the monster, he sent a strike with his left lightsaber and attack was blocked, immediately the right lightsaber was sent towards the neck for a finishing blow. The darkness melted down to avoid all damage and converted back into a dark copy of Nomkneer again.

"So.. it wont be that easy even with masters power"

The darkness went rushing towards the kaleesh in an attempt to strike Nomkneer from the waist as his other t'saber would come down as a direct attack from on top of him. Thanks to Erebos he had the speed to keep up with it, an x form was made and after Nomkneer had both his lightsabers inside the x, he took out the weaker t'saber while holding his other two with just one and with enough speed he was able to tear a part of the darkness before he melted to avoid it.

"Master i have a plan, i dont know if it will work but with you here i have no doubts that i will come victorious"

It was inevitable to communicate telepathically as the darkness is inside his mind and everything that goes through it is reachable by it. Nomkneer kept striking and blocking, exchanging blows in a way that the first one who would make a single mistake would loose his life.

"Master, i had trained a little in force walk and was able to learn how to use it properly even though i am decades from mastering it, i am able to use it to absorb his being and imprison him to use his power for myself. The only problem is i'll need you to keep transfering me energy for me to be successful and i have to weaken him here and now before i hope to do this"

He said while the darkness would come back in Nomkneers form, he had only one chance to do this and there was no chance to think, besides the darkness will know it all as it leeches information from inside the kaleesh' mind. Nomkneer used telekinesis to force push the being back, the inmense power that came from the acolyte was unbelievable. So much that he sent it flying against the wall of the current stage they were set upon.

He took the opportunity to flash step forward by using the force to amplify his footing to hope forward with speed as he did against Erebos in the training with Jack. The speed was so inmense it only took a around a second to reach where the darkness had landed and with one swift movement he pierced it.

"It didn't melt? I guess its weak now. Master im ready to start using this ability even if consequences come to me by using this advance ability without the practice needed to be able to use it correctly"

The kaleesh sat infront of the darkness in a form of meditation focusing his own spirit so that part of it could leave the host to grasp the darkness and pull it into himself. This was going to be the toughest part of this whole situation, If not for Erebos there would be different conclusions to this fight. As Nomkneer focused, part of his spirit had detached in order to grab the darkness and thanks to Erebos it didn't took one hour to do this, only a few minutes. The being was trapped sealed by the lightsabers against the wall and it could not melt or escape.

The detached part of the spirit had graped the darkness and Nomkneer started focusing even more to be able to pull, he didn't have that much strenght as this was the part that he could not practice that much within his training in this ability even though he was at it for days without rest in constant meditation with Lord Mythos transfering the force so that the spirit would not detach completely and the kaleesh would be lost forever.

"Master, i know this is much to ask, i need a little bit more power to pull this, i cannot do this without you"

"You mean we're not landing at a military spaceport?" The crime-lord had never specified where the deal would take place, but she knew the Jedi was going to be handed over to the military. She had assumed they'd land at a military facility.

"Says here you're delivering a shipment to the Lialic Vehicle Corporation." The voice sounded irritated, expressing some degree of humanity for the first time. "All Republic military facilities are strictly off-limits to non-military personnel. We are at war, you know."

"I'm not stupid," she sighed and shook her head. "All right, fine, just tell them we're on the way."

"You're welcome." The security agent spat sarcastically and closed the connection.

She laughed and settled back in her seat. She looked back and noticed that the Hutt had again left the cockpit. She didn't bother to wonder why. She enjoyed the moment of solitude and simply reminded herself this would all be over soon.

Objective: A - Convert influential individuals to become Sith supporters and have them rise up against their ruler
Post: [10/20]

Converting individuals was quite tiring for Konrad. Being an agreeable person was something he would have to fake making him feel uncomfortable. It was not the act of lying to others that caused him a sense of discomfort but rather, having to converse with individuals whom he loathed.

Konrad mentally groaned knowing that he had another appointment with a few more influential individuals the following day. Sitting behind his heavy metal desk, he sipped a cup of tea while completing paper work. While the rank of Brigadier General of the One Sith Army gave him great power, it also entailed quite a bit of paperwork. Combined with Konrand's habit of maiming and occasionally killing some of his subordinates, the amount of paperwork he had to complte rivalled the Grand General's own stack.

Filling in the paperwork, Konrad sighed. If only his subordinates were not so stupid he would have less paperwork to complete but it could not be helped. There was unfortunately no cure for stupidity.

As the ship descended into the atmosphere, Timoris studied the landscape, taking it all in. She had lost count of the number of planets she had visited, but she had never seen this one. She was surprised to find herself feeling a childlike sense of curiosity and adventure. Little was known of the system in any of the reference sources she'd visited.

As the facility came into view, she drew in a breath. The architecture was a dazzling combination of elegance and efficiency. The upper levels of several towers were interwoven with tiered promenades and spacious offices with large viewports. Beneath the towers was a labyrinth of modern-looking industrial facilities. There was even a green space that appeared to serve as testing grounds for the company's projects. She saw a fascinating assortment of vehicles in various places on the corporate campus, from mainstream-looking airspeeders to other types of transport she hardly recognized. Her mechanically inclined mind was consumed in theorising on the function and purpose of these mysterious machines. Now this was a corporation she'd like to own. Not run, of course, but own.

Her sense of wonder was smashed, however, when the Hutt re-entered the cockpit and climbed back into the co-pilot's seat.

Ereobs dissipated the flames from his hands and observed [member="Nomkneer"] as he fought the darkness in his mind. Once Nomkneer had managed to seal the darkness against the wall and began to use force walking to control it, Erebos could feel the strain already starting on the tether that connected him to his apprentice now. Erebos sat down into a meditation position and focused the force into himself and from there into the tether ending in Nomkneer's back. Erebos focused to feed the force into himself, literally devouring as much as the force could manage to give him, then using himself as a focusing lens he fed the amplified force power into his apprentice.
Erebos began to feel that if he kept this up for an hour he'd be depleted and began to modify his output and took a small portion of the force power he was drawing into himself to help replenish himself as well.

Nomkneer was receiving constant energy and stamina from master Erebos, energy and stamina that would not be wasted in vein. The darkness was sealed against the wall by the two lightsabers and while sealed it was being pulled towards the kaleesh little by little thanks to Erebos' power. Suddenly after, Erebos sent out maximum energy giving Nomkneer the boost he needed to speed up the process of the pull.

"I'm, doing it master"

The spirit was being pulled at a faster rate, it was still taking time to do so but it was a giant difference compared to before. If he would take two hours to absorb the dark spirit, it would take less than half time thanks to the amount of energy Erebos had sent towards his student. Nomkneer started using as much mental focus and mental strenght to pull the darkness in, as it struggled it was able to pierce through Nomkneers shoulder by manipulating its body made of darkness and using it like a spear.

The kaleesh kept at it, It wasn't real physical damage but the pain was still being felt as the brain was being tricked into thinking it was real. thirty five minutes have passed and the spirit was still struggling, only half the darkness was absorbed and it was pulling to escape but thanks to Erebos, Nomkneer could hold him in.

Much fight was being done mentally, this was what Nomkneer was waiting for a long time, a way to defeat the darkness that has been shrouding his mind terrorizing his memories and making him more insane every day that passed. It was strong, but not strong enough to beat the duo sith warriors that were facing him.

some time had passed and the spirit would two thirds inside Nomkneers seal within the force walk. it just needed to be weakened as it struggled to break out of the Nomkneers pulling spirit.

"Master, maybe with one more attack he will be able to be absorbed."

The kaleesh stood its ground against the darkness, it kept mentally focused, holding the dark spirit trying to not let it escape its grasp.

Ereobs had been engorged in keeping his tether as efficient as he could for Nomkneer's sake. Hearing his voice however he stood and turned his saber on, he took to a sprint and with a somersaulting leap over his apprentice. He landed and stuck his own saber through the shadow feeding force Lightning through it to weaken the Shadow as much as he could while also making sure his lightning didn't touch his apprentice. Then he kicked the power he was feeding to his apprentice into overdrive as he fed as much power into it as the tether could handle.
"Now Nomkneer, beat this thing." He said as he moved his saber out of the shadow and focused on keeping the tether in place.

Nomkneer saw how his master flew over him, it seemed as if he was just weightless. The strike was perfect and with the force lightning it weakened him to the point where Nomkneer pulled once more and was able to take what was left of the darkness. After he absorbed the darkness completely, he started returning his spirit back to place to be able to lift the force walk. It was finally out of the kaleesh' mind and he was finally able to relax his mind as it was not tortured with insanity by the power of the darkness.

"Thank you master"

He said filled with happiness not only because he beat the darkness inside of him but he also managed to take its power. Without the help of Master Erebos it would not be possible but still it was a victory he was waiting for since he was a child, bred by darkness since the nightmares when young. He got up from the floor and was finally able to move, he then looked straight at his master.

"I cant thank you enough master, lets continue the mind trick training now shall we?"

He said with anxiousness as since finally the darkness was out his insanity stopped and he is now just slightly insane due to the damages of the effects of the darkness, but he can focus much better than before. He started focusing trying to make a wall in his mind, to protect himself from the in coming my assaults of [member="Darth Erebos"].

His blaster rifle was now slung over his back, and it clumsily bumped the side of her chair. The Hutt didn't even notice. What paranoid ruffians we'll probably look like to these people, she thought. The idea crossed her mind to actually leave her own blaster behind, but she laughed it away These people knew they was working for a Hutt. They wouldn't think much of her whether she was wearing a blaster or not.

"A-17. Right there." The Hutt was scrutinizing the maze of architecture below them. "What are you waiting for?" He was clearly ready to get this over with.

"I know. I'm going." Her spirits boosted by the likelihood of ditching her co-pilot, she flashed him a genuinely friendly smile.

As she eased the ship down toward the landing pad, she started thinking about the true nature of her mission again. She had taken this job because of the access it gave her. The leverage it afforded. For a Voice, knowledge was truly power.

Inside one of the shadier cantinas, located within the less respected areas of one of the world's many districts, a certain agent found himself distracted...

Attractive dancers of many exotic species proved to be no distraction, the Umbaran's murky eyes looked on from beneath his helmet; gazing past the entertainment and searching the patrons instead. He had little reason for being here, although he knew many Sith were present this day. For reasons unknown Catalys Maijora decided to ditch his current objective and lurk around until he was called back off-world and sent on errands by the Dark Lord's enforcers.

There was always something one could learn from observing the behavior of cantina goers, and their post-drinking state of mind. It was somewhat amusing, but also entirely revealing of one's true self. Or so at least the agent believed, as he had been in these situations a multitude of times. Each and every point past or present, he'd sit in the darkest, dreariest booth and order not a single beverage. Instead he remained seated, helmet on and simply observed...

So much to see.

Erebos was proud of his apprentice but he had to sit down, he hadn't realized how much of his energy he had fed into his apprentice when they were inside his mind. He had to gather the force into himself in deep and steady breaths before he began once more as he stood up and didn't even ask Nomkneer if he was ready as he initiated his assault on his mind once more. The force tendrils erupted from his hand as they quickly latched onto Nomkneers head and began to burrow into his mind, this time however they had an edge to them.
Having spent time getting used to the skill and spending time inside a mind not his own had made him familiar enough to attack like this, what he had done before had been probing and gentle intrusions as he was being careful, now he could be a little reckless. "Hope you were ready." He said then as he smiled a little to himself.

For the most part things were normal. People had their drinks, the serving droids went around collecting empty glasses or providing fresh ones, and all was well. Then he noticed a strange man entering the Cantina, strange in that he was dressed far too well to find himself smack dab in the middle of this Bantha pit. The stranger's eyes looked around nervously, and droplets of sweat were already beginning to form as he made his way to the back room where an armed guard let him through

Catalys stood up, leaving the booth and walking over to the bar only a few meters from the guard. "I'll have something strong," he spoke to the bartender whose only response was a grunt followed by a nod. The near-human's hand went to pour a strange, foul smelling liquid into a steel cup. Catalys took the cup, despite his helmet remaining on, and walked over to the guard. "Thought you could use a drink," the Rodian doorman didn't look fond of this gesture.

Then again, it was hard to tell with Rodians. He didn't even speak their language so when the guard spoke--albeit very angrily--there was no telling what he meant.

From a safe distance, Fela watched. Nothing more, just followed along, kept out of sight but shadowed the assassins here on Lialic. She wasn't supposed to be here. Technically, she was on assignment somewhere in the deep parts of the Western Reaches. However, the timeframe was a little fluid, so she found herself intercepting a course to come here. Why she felt the call to step outside her orders now, she couldn't have said. Maybe the Dark Side was starting to talk to her a little louder.

Either way, she was intrigued. There were some interesting members to this covert little cabal under the Dark Lord's purview. Maybe this would be a group that Fela could arrange a meeting with. Of course, Sinistra would be pissed as hell with her. However, someone had to take her from being an adept. There was no reason she couldn't have been trained. It was all Sinistra's doing. It was time Fela made a choice on her own.

She reached up and pulled the mask up off her face, breathing free for the first time in a long time. There was a ghost of smile on her lips. Soon.

Soon.

"Now, now, I don't actually understand what you're saying--" Catalys held the cup back, throwing up his other arm in a gesture saying, 'I mean you no harm.' Unfortunately for the Rodian, something must've been lost in translation because he took this as a, 'I am some dumb humanoid who thinks too highly of himself.' Although he probably wasn't wrong.

Drawing his gun, the Rodian doorman fired a shot that knocked the cup out of his hand. How he missed was beyond him, but it seemed Rodians weren't the best shots. Catalys then drew his own pistol with his free arm, quickdrawing the blaster and then firing.

Splat.

The bolt hit the guard dead between the eyes, the entire Cantina grew silent as all eyes went to the incident. Feeling inclined to be of some service, Catalys took a few credits from his pouch and tossed it on the bar counter. Rubbing the back of his helmet and holstering his weapon. "Sorry about the mess."

The arcs of lightning; the touch, the pull of the darkness. Her anger. Her hatred. She sacrificed everything for that miserable old wench, and she knew that she would never get what she wanted. No. This arrangement was over. Western Reaches be damned. The OSI be damned. She never truly worked for them. Sinistra had kept her strung along, giving her just enough of what she needed to keep her hanging on. She was doing the same thing to twins. They could figure out their own mess. It wasn't her job to tell the idiot twins that they were being used. If they didn't know already, it served them right.

She left a trail of armor and gear up the ramp of her ship, some wreck she had stolen to get to where she needed to. She would take orders no more. She would bow to that crotchety old crone no more. Glee Anselm, that was where she had heard there was a place she could learn to be a true Sith. Not one who plays at it with the crumbs left from Sinistra's coattails, Fela would give herself over to the pain and sacrifice and rise from the ashes of her old life to take her rightful place as a Sith.

The old light freighter lifted off and shot towards the skies, into the great wide open.
