Where are those Droidekas?

Maw Construction Group was looking to expand into manufacturing of droids. Who better to learn the tricks of the trade than the famed Trade Federation? In the past, their droids were the backbone of the Confederation of Independent Systems. While they had certainly suffered, they have regained some footing, enough that they have a new reputation.

Dear [member="Herr Vanderhing"],

I am very much interested in your experience with droids. I am looking to manufacture my own combat droids, but I lack the knowledge to design an efficient and effective droid. I have been dabbling with droids recently, but they are not suitable for outright combat.

If it is possible, I would like to come to one of your droid foundries to see how it is that you make such high-quality products. Of course, I will never steal your designs, I follow the standards of Galactic Patents and respect your intellectual property.

I am looking forward to working with you,

Regards,
Heveticus Maw

The Trade Federation, famous for their incompetent, yet still occasionally efficient Battle Droids. Their Viceroy, Herr Vanderhing was in his palace on Cato Neimoidia. He was working in his study when his aide walked in with a request from one, [member="Heveticus Maw"]. He peered over the request then wrote a reply
---------------------------
Dear Heveticus Maw,

The Trade Federation and the planet of Neimoidia proudly accepts your request for a look into our droid production. Though I must say B-1s, aren't exactly what you'd call "high quality" none the less our other combat droids such as Droidekas and Magna Guards should suffice. If you'll please come to meet me at one of my Pure Neimoidia droid foundries then I'll gladly give you a tour and give you instructions on combat droid production

Signed,
Viceroy Herr Vanderhing, Prime Minister and Trade Father of Neimoidia and the Neimoidian Purses and Viceroy of the Trade Federation

Heveticus chuckled to himself when he received the reply. He would need to remember to be more careful with his flattery, as ignorance has a tendency to start hostilities. The B-1 droids had a reputation for incompetence... if the history of the Clone Wars was still accurate.

Heveticus arranged his trip to Neimoidia. He hadn't been to the Core worlds for some time, it would be an interesting experience considering the previous instability of the region. Fortunately for Maw Construction Group, they were a neutral company. If he had aligned his company after the attack on Kaeshana, he would risk not being able to move freely throughout the galaxy.

He arrived on the planet and arranged for a transport to take him to the droid foundries where his arranged tour and meeting with Viceroy [member="Herr Vanderhing"] was due to take place. Heveticus went to the foundry office and requested for the reception to direct him to the Viceroy.

The secretary, a B1 was currently on the phone. The droid wore lipstick and was programmed with a more feminine voice and personality. Vanderhing took great pride in mistreating his battledroids, specifically his B1s. So he put a large puffy black wig on the droid. He smeared lipstick over the droid's face and gave it large pink triangles as glasses with string coming from the sides and going around it's neck. It wore pink female clothing and were given fingernails extensions that were place upon the droid's finger digits. The droid was typing, pressing only two fingers down on the keyboard as it kept a phone between its head and shoulders. The droid took notice of the guest

"Hold on hun... The factory's got a guest" the droid hung up the phone and directed it's attention to the guest

"Can I help you?..... Oh Mistah Vandahing's office? Oh ya'll must be Mistah Maw!! Why he's in the back, just follow me...."

The droid lead the man to the foundry manager's office on the foundry, and knocked at the door. Vanderhing sat at the manager's desk with a cigar lodged in his mouth, having ousted the manager so Vanderhing could wait for Maw.

"Mistah Vandahing, ya'll have a guest" the droid said in a strange mix of a battle droid's nasally voice and a female

"Oh right.... Good evening Mr. Maw!! Droid, get back to work!!!"

"Roger, roger"

The droid left and Vanderhing extended his arm out for a shake

"Stupid battledroids!!! I can't stand them.... Anyway, you'd like to know about droids yes?"

[member="Heveticus Maw"]

Heveticus stared at the droid for a second, looking at its ridiculous outfit. He chuckled a little before responding to the droid. "Yes... I am here for the Viceroy," he said as the droid took him to the Viceroy [member="Herr Vanderhing"].

"Good evening, Mr Vanderhing. Yes, I would like to enquire about the advances you have made with your..."Heveticus paused for a second, remembering the B1 Secretary "...higher quality droids, like the Droideka and Magnaguard models."

Heveticus was eager to learn what is took to produce the higher quality droids. His area of operations, the Outer Rim and the Unknown regions did not have a manufacturer of quality droids. If Heveticus could make an advanced droid, he could exploit the market there and make a steady profit.

"If my history is correct, your Droideka were very effective. Heavy weapons and personal shields. I am interested with how you have modernised this model. You see... I am planning on building a small army, but I need them to be of high quality. I have the means to produce, but I not have the knowledge."

The Viceroy nodded his head and inspected the business man, taking note of his size but not saying anything

"Of coarse Mr. Maw..... The droideka are a personal favorite of mine, though as you can see I don't really enjoy the clumsy incompetent B1s...... If you haven't noticed by that secretary, I do like making a fool out of those tinheads" Vanderhing paused for a moment and thought to himself then continued on "Well I suppose we shouldn't be too harsh on them.... En mass they are quite effective, anyway I digress I have several droids I believe you'll enjoy seeing, I think we should work our way up if you don't truly mind...... In order to truly appreciate some of these droids you sadly must see their pathetic base model, so I'm sorry to say if you wish to see such advanced droids as the Commandos we may have to see the B1s"

Vanderhing grabbed his cane and limped out of the office door, urging the business partner to follow. Down the hall the factory could be heard quite loud. Gears grinding, cogs meshing, and assembly line workers chattering and tinkering. The walls were grimy and greasy, Vanderhing hated looking at factory walls so he often refused to come to Pure Neimoidia with its smog being belched into the air like a drunk man and it's grey colored water from the pollution. It was a filthy planet, but it has its own charm.
