Tribunal Station

One of the awkward things about being the protege of Veino Garn, Saarai-Kaar and ORION head, was that sometimes he sent out missions, or asked for favors. And in this case, it was to check out Tribunal Station and start making preparations for a new Jensaarai compound within the station. Assess the station resources. Find some open space, or a place where they could park a bulk freighter and renovate the inside to link to the main station's power grid. Simple enough. She'd been doing much the same work on Anoat to help the efforts of Abaigeal E'ron Abaigeal E'ron and her detachment of Jedi. She'd sent a message back to them, inviting them to come visit and get a sense of things for perhaps establishing a Jedi quarter as well.

But first, she had somewhere to stop first. The cantina. She'd just docked her ship after a long trip through hyperspace and felt grimy, but that was normal. What she wanted was some rich food and stronger drinks. Nobody gave her as much a second glance as she strode through the labyrinthine corridors, passing more aliens than she knew expected. All of them radiating some sort of Force signature, and most carrying blasters, which she could tell were clearly not stock. That she appreciated.

Kida slipped into the door and took a corner table, kicking back on and resting her feet up on the table. Hopefully some of the Jedi would be joining her soon, or other Jensaarai. It was a lot of work for one person and she suspected part of the so-called "learning objectives" for the assignment was coordinating efforts and work to make large projects happen. But first, she was going to order some strong drinks and deeply fried food with fresh produce that wasn't freeze-dried spacer rations.

It took some effort to find the place, probably designed that way with purpose. From the outside it looked like a miss match of parts, it was an ugly thing but out here that did not matter. It was serving a purpose needed by the OPA.

Finally, Abaigeal’s ship touched down in the landing dock. After a long flight, she was tired and needed to unwind, and stretch the legs. Her cockpit of her old modified A-Wing did not leave much room to move. It was fast though. The canopy hissed open and she jumped out onto the wing, unzipping her flight suit, and tossing her helmet on the seat. A ground crew of five approached, and hooked up the ship to diagnostic machines, and began refuelling. They were efficient indeed.

The invitation to come here sent by Kida, a young girl she had the pleasure of meeting on Anoat, who had helped her with her own project, so now was the time to return the favour and find out more about this place. Kida mentioned that this would be a great place to help sure up more resources for the Jedi from all the traditions and Abaigeal was not going to let this opportunity pass.

“Which way to the cantina?”, she politely asked the ground crew. They simply pointed to the main exist of the bay. She left them to it.

Once in the corridor, it became clear finding the cantina would be difficult. The map was not much help, but she took the turbolift to the right level. A few directions more, and finally she reached the front entrance. Stepping inside, the atmosphere turned decidedly. It was a warm and inviting place, and a soft drone of music set the scene. More than ever, she wanted a drink.

A familiar presence clipped her force senses, Abaigeal turned to see Kida at a table, and so with drink in hand, Abaigeal joined her. “Well, here we are again”, she smiled, “Good to see you”. She pulled up a chair.

"And then!!!" Before Kahne could hear the finish of the joke a hand clasped his shoulder at the bar as he lurched forward slightly from the momentum. And all that could be heard was the drunk smuggler laughing. Kahne chuckled slightly but it was more so out of slight annoyance than anything. While he remembered his time of being completely drunk, and he hoped they weren't this bad. Kahne raised the shot glass to his lips and before it could touch his lips he felt the mans hand clasp his shoulder again in drunken humor. "And then!!!" Followed by laughter from the smuggler again and Kahne glanced around slightly before facing forward and he caught wind of the bartender and he simply shrugged his shoulders.

"He's not with me." Kahne said with a small chuckle.

"And then he said, These aren't the droids your looking for!!"

A small laugh came from the jedi Master at the punchline of the joke, but that's about all that he could muster as he drinked the shot at palced the glass back down on the bar next to a large handful of credits. "Make sure he get's home, or somewhere safe for the night." Kahne whisphered as he picked up that his fellow force junkies were in the bar as well. Kahne made haste to take a seat with them as he shook his head.

"It's about time, another one of those jokes and I might've gone sith." Kahne said as he glanced to Kida Tillian and Abaigeal E'ron Abaigeal E'ron

"How was your trip?"

Kida raised her glass of whiskey to the two Jedi as they approached and took seats. "Welcome to Tribunal Station, Master Jedis. Long time no see now that we've come all this way from Anoat." She downed the glass and set it on the table before leaning forward. "Trip was good. Do always enjoy my visits here. The Judges are good folks. Some a bit more eccentric than others..." She shrugged instead of finishing the question.

"Saarai-Kaar Garn sent me here to locate a place where we can establish a Jensaarai quarter here on the station." Kida raised a hand for another round. "You two think there's much use for a Jedi quarter here? I know it's not the usual crowd for most Jedi, but we all need each other's backs in this part of the galaxy."

As the other glass was placed on the table, the young woman moved her feet off the table and placed her elbows there instead, watching the other two and waiting for their answer.

Interstellar travel still struck him as an oddity, even as he became accustomed to it. The very idea that a man could step into a metal box and traverse the River of Stars at his leisure beggared the antiquated technologies of his home. Flight, even, was still an abstract notion. Anything other than a bird, or a creature designed by the gods for such things felt surreal.

As he stepped off the freighter that bore him to the station, he was immediately aware that the surface was not terrestrial. The sensation of gravity felt false, but gave him some comfort nonetheless. Several brows raised as they strode past the King, a man who stuck out for many reasons. Foremost, his lack of a shirt and the strange tribal tattoos that patterned his torso drew many gawking, leering gazes.

"The Cantina," he spoke up as one man passed by slowly. A statement more than a question, but his demeanor got the point across.

"That way," said the stranger, pointing out of the bay.

There were directions posted nearby. As he approached, he determined it was indecipherable. Enlil frowned. "Castles that float among the stars," he muttered discontentedly. "With decor sourced from a refuse pit. How homely."

He caught sight of a few people making for the turbolift and decided he would follow them: all of this to speak with more of the Galaxy's gifted on the fringe of civilization.

Honestly, the little he knew of Jedi and Sith, the less he cared to actually be associated with them. That didn't mean he would pass up an opportunity to learn more about them. How they conducted their affairs was important knowledge. To see them outside of conflict was perhaps even more important than to see them embroiled in it.

When they arrived, he saw the cantina in the distance.
"I wonder if they serve decent wine," he pondered aloud.

She gave Master Porte a respectable Jedi bow, "Master, it is good to see you again", he had once lurked about the temple of Voss when she was a child, Abaigeal had grown up knowing the stories of those masters back then. "My trip was long, but I am pleased to be here".

Kida got straight to business, as they took a seat at her table. "Well, it is different. But at this time we don't have many options so having another place to come and learn is a good thing. Besides it will take several weeks before Anoat is fit for living", he meant the building, the planet would take much longer to 'cleanse'. But they had to start somewhere.

"Is this all that will be joining us do you know?", Kida had mentioned the Judges, but Abaigeal was not sure if they would be interested in meeting with Jedi. Not with what they had on their agenda to discuss. But in the future, maybe they would come to learn the benefits of Jedi teachings, if only to improve their skills. Judges were simply too law(less)ful and would find the Jedi Way to restricting.

But you never know...

"Likewise, Master E'ron." Kahne smiled as he glanced to Kida and gave a small bow of his head. "It's good to see you too Kida." Kahne raised his hand towards the bartender and since he was there already he knew what Kahne was requesting, a glass of Corellian whiskey. "Do either of you want anything to drink?" Kahne inquired as he leaned back in the chair with his hands resting on either leg.

"It looks like it Abaigeal. I think the more places that are Jedi friendly would be the better. Even not exactly a large facility, but something as means of safe house of sorts. No telling when we can run into trouble on any planet. Anoat is still a work in progress. It's running along but it's taking time. Much of the planet needs to be cleansed."

Kahne glanced at someone who had just entered the bar and a curious look appeared on the face of the Jedi Master. "Is that who I think that is?" Kahne inquired referencing Enlil Enlil He had only met him once before, it was very brief. Then again, he might've been mistaken.
