When destiny comes knocking

Odhran walked out of a build that was own by the criminal organization that he worked for.. or that is to say he used to. He did one last job for them retrieving credits from a deadbeat who owed the organization, course it didn't take long for the Shistavanen to get the money and to bring it back to his boss. Nobody wanted to argue with a creature that was 2.2 meters tall, despite Odhran wanting them to not a lot of people would put up a fight. Of course, his boss wasn't pleased to hear that Odhran wanted to leave after all these years he brought in the credits and he was a good bodyguard for there heist and other things he wasn't going to let the shistavanen to leave just like that.

He needed to get off this planet if he stayed he would be hunted until his former boss gets what he wants or kills him, tho that wouldn't be a bad thing to die in battle. His red eyes scan the crowd in front of him for any sign that he was being watched if he was he would need to take out his former allies he's been itching for a fight for months. "Now what? What are you going to do? You left because of some kind of feeling?" Odhran glared toward the direction of the voice there was nothing there but a pile of trash "Shut up! You know we deserve better than being someones.. lap dog!" shistavanen growl in anger he brought his attention back to the crowd "You don't know what your doing.. You don't have a plan...and all those innocent you hurt!" again Odhran growled he didn't mind these 'voices' but this one, in particular, was a real moral compass and a complete pain to deal with "You don't have room to talk! You stood by watching them get hurt so don't try that on me..." he walked out of the alleyway into the crowd following the flow of the movement.

One of her searches had taken Jairdain to this planet. What she wanted was a special seed for her garden on Iridonia found only here. Having accomplished in getting what she had come here for, the master walked the streets back to her ship. Being blind did not stop her however and she moved with relative ease. However some details could be missed by her.

Mainly a detail such as the alleys between buildings. Like the ally she was walking past. The next thing she knew was she almost falling after a rather large and growling person bumped into her. Not having sight, she could not tell he wasn't human and just assumed he was a very tall man.

Turning her mental focus on him, she could tell something was wrong with him. It was almost as if there were two minds within him. In a way, it made her think of herself not that long ago. Time being relative, it had been a couple of years since she was a broken sith. She almost wondered which direction this man was headed.

"Excuse..."

Another person bumped into her from the other direction almost knocking her into the arms of Odhran.

Odhran was still arguing with himself to notice the raven-haired girl not until he felt a slight thud. His red eyes scan the area wondering who had run into him, was it someone from the gang he just left had they found him all ready? Tho to be fair he was fairly hard to miss and the eyes didn't help so if they did miss him they either weren't looking or not very bright. Cursing to himself for not paying attention Odhran looked down he could see the raven-haired girl stumbling a bit as if she had run into something could it have been her? His ear twitched in annoyance how could he be so careless not noticing the girl.. wait if he didn't see her then did she try to pickpocket him? The shistavanen had seen this tactic before when he was younger seeing someone run into a target and still their credits, but Odhran had nothing on him for her to steal or did she plant something on him.. a tracking device?!

"Excuse..."

The wheels of paranoia continue to turn in his mind before he could even ask what she was doing the girl try to say something but was nocked into by another passerby. Before he knew it the girl begin to fall instinctively Odhran reached out and caught her before she could hit the ground. He wasn't sure as to why he did this and for once he was at a loss for words "Erm..?"

If Jairdain could have seen, she would have probably jumped back in surprise or fear from Odhran, but she didn't. He caught her from falling and she regained her balance and appeared to look in his direction. Just from his touch, their close physical proximity and her hearing, she could tell he was taller than she was. Nothing beyond that.

"Thank you. I'm sorry about the collision. So many people here, I'm surprised."

Taking half a step back to give each of them a sense of personal space, Jairdain checked to make sure her own belongings were accounted for. Whoever had bumped into her the second time had not been one of the pickpockets and she didn't feel Odhran was one either.

"I'm Jairdain."

"Thank you. I'm sorry about the collision. So many people here, I'm surprised."

Odhran watches the girl closely she didn't seem to be the kind the person that would pickpocket anyone little lone work with the organization that he used to be with. He glances around them taking note all the people walking around he begins to look at the raven-haired girl a little confused "It usually is busy on the streets of Corellia." He stops for a moment tilting his head slightly as if he was listing to something other then the crowd of the people and other species on the streets "Shhhh." he growled out to whatever he was listing to.

"I'm Jairdain."

Jairdain voice seemed to snap Odhran back to reality as he shook his head trying to clear his mind "I'm Odhran, what brings you here to Corellia?"

[member="Jairdain"]

Picking up on the curiosity from Odhran, she wondered why. When he made a hushing noise, it was Jairdain's turn to be curious as she hadn't said anything. At the question of what brought her to Corellia, she was at a loss for a moment.

The last time she had been here was due to a calling through the Force and she had found a boy named Kyla. Returning with him to the Silver Jedi, she had then lost contact with him due to her job on Commenor. That job often kept her away from the Silver's, but from time to time she was able to return to them.

Looking at Odhran through the Force though, she didn't think he would be happy with him. While she did not consider herself a Jedi any longer, she wasn't a sith either. This man could use the Force and must be why she was here.

"Honestly, I had no idea what planet I landed on..."

If he looked at her face, two things would clear. The first being she was blind. While her eyes were clear and unclouded, they were unfocused. The second was her honesty in her answer.

"So...I'm not sure why I'm here, but I think it just hit me."

"Honestly, I had no idea what planet I landed on..."

Odhran was, even more, confuse then he was before "No idea what planet she landed on?" he thought to himself. How could she not know she flew here didn't she? Or did someone else bring her here? He shook his head no that can't be right she said she landed on. He watch Jairdain for a few moments not sure what to say but to see if she was joking or not.

He notices that her eyes were unfocused Odhran tilt his head slightly as he raises up his hand and waved it in front of Jairdain. "Is she? Nah she can't be.." he thought as he continued to watch her closely for a reaction.

"So...I'm not sure why I'm here, but I think it just hit me."

Odhran nose wrinkled up in confusion "Think you may have hit your head."

[member="Jairdain"]

There were a few moments of silence between them, but Jairdain did pick up on the fact he was puzzled. Maybe it was because of her words or maybe the whole situation, she couldn't tell. When Odhran raised his hand to wave it in front of her face, she gave no reaction to it since she couldn't see it. It gave validation to him that she was physically blind.

When she said her reason for being there just hit her and he replied, she almost couldn't stop herself from smiling at least a little. A touch of humor would show in her eyes since she never was one to hide how she felt about anything in them.

"Yes, I suppose it did come out oddly. I can promise, I haven't hit my head recently."

Having been knocked out by hitting her head on Mirial, that had happened months ago in her life and hadn't done any damage to her.

Odhran notices that Jaidain didn't react to him waving his hand in front of her face "Ah crap..." he thought to himself. Now he felt even more of an idiot for waving his hand in her face even more so that he didn't figure this out earlier. How could he have been paranoid about this raven haired girl? "Well, I'm glad to hear that. Some of the doctors here are... horrible." he took a moment and thought about the last doctor he knew poor moran ended six feet under, getting into someone else business he shouldn't have.

He shook his head at the thought "Do you need to be... escorted to your ship?" he wasn't sure why he offered to help her it wasn't like him to do this. Could it be because Jairdain was blind and he was worried about her well being? Or was it something else?

[member="Jairdain"]

Being an empath, Jairdain was able to pick up on the various emotions of those around her. Her attention was focused on Odhran and as he realized she was blind, she knew it based off his emotions only.

"I'm not here to visit a doctor either. Actually I try to avoid them. Sometimes they want to offer me vision implants or suggest surgeries to fix my eye sight or lack of it."

Not below making light of what many people thought of as a handicap, it was a strength to her. Even she could not physically see, her sight through the Force lead her to see aspects and facets that were missed by regular sight.

"An escort through this crowd would probably be better than me blundering around. Thank you."

[member="Odhran Schwarz"]

Odhran grumbled his welcome to Jairdain, it wasn't normal for him to help someone out like this but then again him quitting his old job wasn't normal either. He walked next to the raven-haired girl as they weave in and out of the crowd towards her ship. He couldn't help but smile as he watches the crowd parting away from them after all who would want to mess with something that was taller than them or something that could possibly rip there heads off. Odhran enjoys having that capability having the people that know him turn the other way because they didn't want anything to do with him.

Tho now he was helping someone to there ship must have been an odd sight for anyone on around them to see. His red eyes scan the area around him wondering if there was anyone there he would know.. if an old friend of his would attack them but so far he didn't see anything that would even hint that there would be one. His ear twitched as they picked up conversations of random people or race as they walked by. "It's dangerous to travel alone... especially in your.." Odhran pause for a moment trying to come up with the right word and wondering if he would insult her or not "Condition.."

[member="Jairdain"]

Her being blind limited what she could tell about her surroundings, however, her hearing was excellent and could tell he was taller and larger than she was. That itself wasn't abnormal and Jairdain fully accepted this. One thing she could not tell was that Odhran was not human. In her vision, everybody was equal. This included him. When he commented it was dangerous for her to travel alone, she had to chuckle a little.

"It's a danger to even get out of bed."

At least he didn't make fun of or taunt her in any way and attempted to smooth over anything that could be considered offensive.

"Don't worry about upsetting me. I know I'm blind."

As they walked, she picked up from him that he was enjoying something. Their walk back to her ship was uneventful and the bustling crowd moved away from her. The reason was lost on her though.

"What are your plans after dropping me off?"

[member="Odhran Schwarz"]

"It's a danger to even get out of bed."

He couldn't help but smile Jairdain comment was true for him as well in his former job it was dangerous to look at someone the wrong way. Tho he used to the feeling of people looking at him weird mostly because of how his race looked they weren't seen all the time outside there home. Odhran was one of the few that wanted to explore the galaxy how his career begins well... that wasn't in his control.

"What are your plans after dropping me off?"

Odhran thought about it he was planning to get off the planet as soon as possible but he wasn't sure how he was going to do this. As for credits he had a few not enough to buy a ship as for the rest organization refuse to give to him before they wanted him dead.Either way, he looked at it going to be difficult to get off the planet. "I'm planning to get off the planet.. as to how yet."

[member="Jairdain"]

It was sly humor, but Jairdain picked up the fact he found it in her statement. Not able to see his face, she couldn't tell Odhran smiled. However, she actually appreciated the fact he had decided to help get her back to her ship. When he answered her question of his plans, she knew what she had to do.

"You want off the planet, but don't have a ship? Odhran, I can offer you a position on my ship if you want. Having droids do pretty much everything on it for me, gets rather lonely and it would nice to have some company. At least until you decide where you want to go after getting off this planet."

This man had yet indicate he intended to harm her. Dark he might be, but something within him kept him from striking at her. It might have been normal for him to hurt and harm, but maybe it was the Force that stayed his hand. Whatever it was, Jairdain choose to take advantage of it and offer him a chance. If he accepted and took up a position on her ship, then she would tell him he could use the Force. Until that though, she assumed he would scoff and not believe her.

[member="Odhran Schwarz"]

His ears perk up at Jairdain offer was she really offering him away from the planet? He couldn't believe what he heard he wouldn't have to spend any of his credits and while traveling in space he could come up with what he wanted to do. Something in knew that this had to happen in order to find his way... to what he was still unclear of. Looking back his red eyes look over the skyline of the city was he ready to leave? But then if he stayed what had he got? Former friends trying to kill him if he stayed he would be on the run and possibly dead... what kind of life was that?

"I'll take you up on your offer."

He let out a small growl as he thought about the possible future it was the time that he needed to think on that. Maybe later he would come back and take his revenge on the criminal organization but until he will stay hidden from the planet and learn what he can to survive.

When Jairdain offered him a bunk and employment on her ship, she picked up that it was something he was interested in. He was curious though and seemed like he just didn't quite believe what she offered. However as he processed what she offered, what his situation was here...Odhran came to a decision. He accepted her offer and they reached the spaceport at that point.

Her actions served purposes for the both of them. Jairdain felt she could count on him to keep her safe as they journeyed together, even if it wasn't in his nature. Maybe he had a soft spot for blind women. As a benefit for him, she would attempt to introduce him to the Force and awaken that knowledge within him.

"I'm glad I have some bit of ability to come and go from places and don't need to worry about clearance getting out of here."

As part of the royal family's circle of employees from Commenor, it granted Jairdain a touch more freedom to move around than what he might have had on his own.

"Ready to go or do you need to get anything?"
