Stories tend not to have an epic climax written within the first chapter, and the stories that we craft upon the forum are quite similar. It's hard to say that the story isn't going anywhere when we've only done something around 10-15 posts.
It may be wise to see how the story progresses a bit before assuming that it will simply go nowhere.
Then again, I'm just a space tick, not a bombshell genius, so what would I know.

Short of [member="Lorelei Darke"] posting in response to both Xis and me, or some counter-slicer posting (probably a hired gun), the ground part will progress much more than the space part will. I have to let opposition respond to my actions before I can reply in it.
Perhaps Lorelei would actually accept my attempt at negotiating reparations, in which case that would be my distraction in space for you. And then I could perhaps get Ringovinda StarYards to sell orbital drydocks on the condition that the One Sith folds.
