What's Better Than One Reaper? Two Reapers

Dredge stood at the bridge of the massive battle scarred Omen class command ship, the living beast floated in the cold vacuum of space around the capital planet of the Primeval. Dredge looked upon the pitiful fleet the primeval had assembled and their pitiful flag ship the orders end. It was a disgrace to be seen with such amateurs in the art of destruction. Dredge had commanded billions of men and had vast Star Destroyers at his command to glass worlds. These people had a heavy cruiser at best.

"Weaklings, all of them." Dredge spat a curse to himself then looked over to one of his worker caste Vong.

"I was hoping I would not have to do this. But I suppose it is the only option." Dredge sighed and told his worker to send a message to the woman [member="Anja Aj'Rou"]. It would read as so

"Meet me on the Omen, your fleet is pitiful and weak. But I will make you strong. I will give you a proper command ship in which to serve the gods will. You have twenty minutes to be here if you want your fleet to posses a ship identical to mine."

The message to be delivered and Dredge was not one to be kept waiting. He had known the location of the sister ship and it was to be kept secret, but he would not be see with these children without it.

The message was received.

Anja was always particularly interested with [member="Dredge"] since their brief encounters; his own humor -- if you called it that -- matched her own, even if she never showed it.

The Host Lord smirked lightly at his comment and indulged the thought, wondering what he was even talking about.

"Prepare my shuttle.", she ordered as she walked down the corridors and into the hanger where a small personal shuttle lay. As the ship took off and headed for The Omen , Anja began to wonder what this was all about and soon enough her ship docked with his and The Host Lord was taken with a few of her guards and his soldiers to where he was.

Entering the room, Anja looked to dredge. "What is it?", she said: 19 minutes and 28 seconds later.

Dredge kept his hands folded between the small of his back tucked underneath the Massive Sith Sword on his back. He wore the thick demonic armor of the late Darth Vulcanus and he looked like a demon knight from hell itself. Dredge stared out into space at the primeval fleet and shook his head in disappointment. They required more diverse ships in their fleet, it simply was pathetic when he looked upon it in his eyes.

"Your people disappoint me host lord. Your fleet may be large but it lacks diversity and structure. And most of all it lacks a proper command ship in which to make your enemies fear the name Primeval. But I have not brought you here to tell you everything that is wrong with your defense. I have brought you here so I may fix it for you." Holding out his right hand a data pad was in it and it soon flicked on to show the ship they were on. The Omen

The massive two kilometer command ship dwarfed Order's End by over a kilometer. It was bigger and more intimidating than the ship, and had much more to offer.

"This is the Omen, but what most people don't know is that this ship is a living breathing creature. It is one with the gods and it is used to carry out their will. And another thing that people don't know, it has a twin. Another one just like it that I have tucked away on a nice little safe planet. You will be coming with me to retrieve it, then you will be abandoning that waste of a flagship and upgrading to this ships sister. We leave now." Dredge threw the data pad and looked to the Graug crew chief.

"Take us to Echidna." Dredge said and soon after the ship began to move changing it's alignment

Anja was quite impressed by what she's heard from [member="Dredge"] , after her meeting with Titan Industries she heard about organic starships and how they were in many ways superior to traditional designs. Nonetheless, this 'sister ship' seemed more than just that, it looked like a gateway through asperity for all who faced it.

The sudden course of Dredge, ordering his ship into hyperspace, came at a sudden surprise. Few were daring enough to be so commanding in the presence of the Host Lord but from what she heard about him and his people, she couldn't really care too much. He was indeed powerful and had many accomplishments together, what he could do for her -- for The Primeval -- was beyond measure by even the most abstract of imaginations.

"Echinda?", she asked despite given the feeling that it was redundant question -- she would find out soon enough.

The Host Fleet was probably panicking at this sudden move, but they wouldn't dare attack, and would instead wait for the ship's return -- if it did happen.

One couldn't imagine the surprise on their face when they did return, with two -- not one -- omen-class command ships.

Dredge scoffed at the host lord in a humorous manner, she truly was clueless about wild space and it's past. It was there Dredge first brought the horde into it's prime of burning planets. But those were stories for a later date, right now they had a ship to retrieve from a Viking Sith. Walking over to the woman he looked down at her and his crimson eyes light up beneath his black helmet. His eyes did not convey hatred however, the low burning reds showed curiosity to the Host Lord.

"My home child, it was taken from me along with my empire. I once lead billions to burn and murder worlds across space." The man lifted his large iron covered hand and gently dragged the back of it against Anja's cheek.

"My time as supreme ruler has past, I have failed in my quest. But perhaps returning from the grasps of death has taught me to become more generous. Regardless my time for leading is over, but yours has only begun Host Lord. You will not make the same mistakes as I, and I shall help you in your quest to serve the gods." Pulling away his warm hand he turned to his crew chief and nodded.

The ship burst into hyperspace and it was time to return to Echidna after all these years of running. It was time to go home

The touch of his ironclad hand was the rarest touch she's had in many years; going back so far as to her youth when she killed the only one who had bestowed such a touch in cold blood during the Rite of Pain, one of the several passages into adulthood on her birth world. She knew his wasn't of affection -- or at least she assumed that -- and was equally curious to him as he was to her.

"Your home?", she muttered quietly at the thought. If he lead billions across the reaches of space and burned many worlds, then what challenges await her if he did indeed fail in his quest as he had said? She wasn't worried or fearful, but the very thought that there were powers out there greater than that made her think deeply about which path she must take. The Primeval aren't ones to show mercy to their enemies, for the unfaithful are truly dead, so much so that it's actually an escape for them. Only if they saw it that way.

She had wondered if his 'Gods' and her 'Gods' were the same, or perhaps related. These thoughts may have been blasphemous to her elders but she was far from close-minded in that regard. IT was very possible that they were, even more possible that there are other powers out there. Surely not as great, she could only believe.

Dredge let out a small evil chuckle, the woman was entertaining to say the least. A person of few words; Dredge respected that. The man looked down upon her and shook his head in a more entertained motion. He then walked past her to take a seat in the command chair on the throne room. Dredge snapped his fingers and a worker caste Vong placed a chair besides his own.

"Sit Host Lord, we should arrive shortly." Dredge said in a very calm voice, he was not one to be defied and when he offered a courtesy to someone he almost viewed as a peer. It was best to be taken.

However whether she sat down or not he began to speak of his former life. The life he lived before he died and returned to the galaxy. His home echidna and what it meant to him.

"Echidna is my home, I was born on Yuuzhan'Tar. However when the Vong fell during the gulag plague I became the ruler of planet known as Belgaroth when we were scattered to the wind. I soon traveled to echidna where I founded the horde. And the rest is history I do not wish to speak of." Dredge waited in his chair and this was the first time in a very long time he had had a conversation with someone he was not trying to kill. It felt good.

"Tell me of yourself Host Lord, surly you must have history."

Anja sat on the chair provided, and thought for a moment about what he said and what he had asked. Her past wasn't something she really ever thought would be asked about -- within her fleet she had no one whom she deemed a 'social companion' as one might put it and whilst it was hardly why the two of them were on their way to his home, it wasn't against her wishes to be just that.

"I grew up on a world that we simply called 'Paradise' or 'The Last World' as it was called by our elders. The First Prophet, the Faceless One, was our guide who led us there; originally believing it to be the birthplace of the first to follow our Gods but that belief had settled into mystery. To some it was quite a beautiful world, green pastures, grasslands, rivers, lakes. Full of life and at the Gods command we ruled it and as a test of faith we desecrated its beauty and turned it into a forge.", she didn't mean to give a history lesson but it was the best thing she could think of to say. Her own past was forged by this history and through it she was made, and became who she was now. The Host Lord.

"I was chosen to leave as both a champion of heaven and an exile of despair.", she added. It was on her success -- or failure -- that would determine how her name would be etched into the fabric of her people's history.

"And a champion you have become Host Lord." Dredge said in response to her story, she really had made the distance like he has done all those years ago. She would make many enemies, hell half the galaxy wanted to kill Dredgefor various reasons. The man chuckled again looking back over to his new social companion.

"Your world reminds me of my own, lots of green. You will enjoy it I'm sure, just be sure to watch your head. The Ragna dragons are more than likely loose since order devolved on the planet." Dredge sat back in his chair and the crew chief said something about exiting hyper space. The ship boomed out of hyperspace to a lush green planet filled with jungles and wild beasts. It was once the home base of the horde and company of a Circe Savan. Dredge smiled and looked over to the woman. Dredge was home

Lowering Into the atmosphere Dredge stood up and looked to the woman. "Shall we host lord?" He offered his hand to the woman to help her out of her chair.

Taking his hand she stood from the chair, "We shall.", she said in response -- having looked upon the lush world was the descended towards it. If this was the home of [member="Dredge"] there must be seem remnant of his past lurking; in some form or another. It was a bit curious, that, to think that the very ship that had brought fear into the hearts of billions would be found here of all places, the same world it all began.

She had a few thoughts of whomever had the ship but it wasn't important to her, she'd find out soon enough she thought, and with Dredge at her side she had no need to think too deeply for he seemed to have an answer for everything thus far.

She appreciated the conversations they've had on the journey there, to say the least, but now the next step -- the most important step -- had begun. Finding this ship.

[member="Anja Aj'Rou"]

the massive ship landed on the planet and it's massive legs made it stand upright. Lot let out a blast from it's horn and the jungle trees and plants flew outward and bent in a two hundred yard radius. Dredge and Anja walked through the halls of the ship until they reached the cargo bay. Dozens of men stood up in rows of straight organized formations. Yuuzhan Vong and Graug shifted and created a path in unison for the two that lead to a rather odd sight.

A black armored dragon slunk up from the floor and eyed the two of them with it's blood red eyes. It was massive up to twelve meters tall with a sick bladed tail that curled around it. As dredge and Anja walked past the Vong and Graug they turned to a left face and took a knee as they passed to show respect and service.

"Let us go for a ride." Dredge said and approached his dragon Nocturna.

She lowered her head and dredge scratched her muzzle gently.

"Get on." He said in a commanding tone to Anja

In all her days she has never seen such a beast and approached the commanding creature, climbing onto it as Dredge had asked.

"Where are we going?", she asked curiously.

The dragon worried her a bit; not because of its size or stature but because it was a living creature. To be at its mercy was an interesting thought to say the least. Of course she did so anyway.

She noticed the servants of Dredge paid it such respects and even now she was beginning to take notice of the world's jungles. "What a strange world...", she muttered. She's been to several by now and Gulamendis to some was bizzarre, but she had yet to find one as lush as this.

Dredge mounted the dragon and pressed a hand to it's head, the mighty force dead beast roared and Dredge mentally ordered a Yammosk commands for the great beast. The creature spread it's massive wings as the cargo doors opened up to let in the humid jungle air. Seated in front of Anja dredge sneered and the beast exited the cargo hold.

"Hang on or die." Dredge said and the beast plunged straight into a nose dive. Gaining speed the dragon brought it's wings out again and glided softly above the trees by a few meters.

After things had settled dozens more of the dragons followed behind them each with a rider and passenger that carried a rifle. The beasts flew in a pack with Dredge leading the front. They flew west and grew closer to their target, a large destroyed city and temple looming in the distance.

"Welcome to Echidna. Lovely place isn't it." Dredge said with a soft chuckle. The wind blew past them and the dragon roared once more, Nocturna was certainly a beautiful creature of death and destruction.

"We go to secure your new ship Host Lord."

The Host Lord held on tightly as the beast plummeted at high speeds; looking at the world below.

"I suppose.", she said in response to his question. She had almost forget they were here to secure a ship, and then he mentioned it; the fact hit her straight away.

She wondered where it was and why it was even out here.

"Yes. Let's find it.", she said affirming herself quite nicely. She wanted to see this ship.
