What Seemed Like a Good Idea Has Turned Into a Battlefield

“WE WANT BETTER CONDITIONS!”

“YOU HAVE BROUGHT MISERY UPON US!”

“LEAVE US ALONE, DICTATOR!”

That was it. Aliannah had just arrived to her palace on Lunar Meadow. After a long time spent on Coruscant, working in the Senate, she just felt like she’ll have to visit her home planet again. Not that she had spent most of her childhood there, but… it still felt so familiar, so comfy… It was the place where she could go for holidays or for a short break. She knew people love her and that she loves them. But she had never expected anything like that to happen. She didn’t want it to happen, but it was inevitable.

“WHY ARE YOU OUR LEADER?!”

People were angry, they stood outside the palace, knocking on doors, kicking the walls, destroying windows… And Aliannah stood inside the palace in her room. Sun shined into the little chamber and the High Queen, former Royal Princess, shivered. Why? What do they want from me?” Being an emotional and weak girl, tears flowed down her cheeks. The sun shined on her face, it stroked her cheeks, her crown, her hair… There was no one else in the room besides her. The guards appointed to protect her stood outside the room, ready for people’s invasion.

“Mother, please forgive me. I didn’t want it to happen. Father… I loved you as much as I love my people. Please forgive me…” she whispered. Her voice was mutated by the sounds of crying. People had loved her so much. Why did they change so suddenly? Did they start suspecting something? Had they lost hope in their leader? What was wrong?

“GO AND DIE, STUPID B**CH!”
Aliannah sat down on the carpet. Her pink dress was around her, it covered a small part of the floor. She knew some other Republic people were on Lunar Meadow too, including @[member="Khantor Ruu"] and @[member="Vaudin Miir"]. She didn’t know, that there were other powerful people there too, like… @Strask Ak’lya and @[member="Ayumi Pallopides"]. She just cried, hoping, that it would get better.

Strask stood alone, within earshot of the palace, but far enough away that he wouldn't be noticed. All was going well, and this world will fall. The republic was growing too powerful, and the easy way to stop that, if you didn't have an army? Start uprisings. And this time, the citizens didn't want a peaceful rebellion. Ah, well. It would have to do.

“GO AND DIE, STUPID B**CH!”
Well, that was taking it a bit to far. The leader didn't need that. The poor girl. Caught up in a struggle of galactic influence. If Lunar Meadows could fall, than other worlds could be freed from the Republic's stranglehold. @[member="Aliannah S. del D. Filia"] was just an innocent caught in the line of fire.

Yusan watched the crowd silently from a window which had been broken and glanced behind him at the Woman as she collapsed to the floor, he hadn't been there long but he had heard about the unrest through intelligence and some old friends. While he had no experience with running a city, much less a world, and he could see the sorrow and pain in her with one look.

"You know, everything always gets better, whether it takes a day or a year, things always turn around." He made his presence known in that instant, turning around to face her with his robes turning with him and hood over his head. "And there is no place for sorrow in this galaxy, sadness and pain just make things worse dont you think? Yusan Fenn, incase we havent met before." He walked over and held out a hand to help her up incase she had not done so already.

He himself had entered the palace alone while his contingent of droids remained on or around the landing site of the ship, he had made sure they had simple and clear orders to remove any hostile force, but to not kill them if such an alternative is available. He had brought about a hundred and had each of their ten squads on a one touch radio frequency should he need them. @[member="Aliannah S. del D. Filia"]

'Well that escalated quickly' Vaudin thought as he jumped out of his bed and ran to the window ro look at the crowd.

"Whats wrong Mr. Senator?" Asked one ofnthe girls that lay on the kingsized bed he had been given for his stay.

"Girls." He said shakingbthe other two who were still asleep. "You need to gwt dressed and get out of the palace. There is a mob storming the place."

He quickly pulled on his clothes trying to look official.

"I better go and check on the other senators."

Heir to the Emperor, Former Senator of Denon
@[member="Aliannah S. del D. Filia"] @[member="Vaudin Miir"] @[member="Yusan Fenn"] @[member="Strask Ak'lya"]

Ayumi had a slight growl to her voice while she moved, her jacket coming off to reveal a sleek bodysuit and her hair was in a tight ponytail. These were not the things she planned for but it seemed to follow her almost as her hands moved grabbing the mans wrist. the ones who stormed the area leaving them alone before her palm went into his throat getting a gasp and choke. She twisted and heard the snap before feeling it then kicked the back of his knee. "YOu know just once I would like to have an outing without fighting."

far out, man
Something felt off to the young Jedi, a nagging feeling through the force that something was inherently wrong with the area and the citizens. They had the air of convincing, as if someone else had pulled the strings. The force tugged him along, and he moved his way through the crowd. The Republic was not liked here very much, but the idea that a person would outright attack a Jedi, was less of a good idea. He wore the robings, but had the heavy brown cloak as to not draw attention to himself. He kept his hands folded, and simply watched. Protests that were peaceful, but justly upset, were fine. But he would quell violence, and force their hands to peace if need be.

Darin simply waited amongst the crowd, not giving his position away. The Padawan didn't smile, he just simply stood there amongst the shouting hordes of people.

Strask pulled out a pair of elecrobinoculars and surveyed his "troops" if they could be called that. They were well equipped, but that was it. No training, no time, just armed and directed. If he had more time, then they'd be a guerrilla force, but he had gotten here late, delayed by his time on Aeten II. But he was stuck with them. Oh, but that wasn't all. He had an elite group here, his Force-users and Spynet people. The force-users were mostly Sith, who had it out for any Jedi and republic people in general. But there was one, named Æthel, who didn't seem their type. He was quiet, almost silent, and rather brilliant. He brought something that he hadn't seen coming: a need to get his people free, no matter the cost. "Æthel, let's start this. Get ready to give the signal." Why him? Because unlike the others, he was one of them. The people would be free. As Æthel sent out a telapathic code word to everyone nearby, the crowds drew blasters. The ensuing firefight left most of the nearby guards dead or dying, and about six rebels in the same condition. Mob mentality and good equipment was brutal. "All right. Sith, get in there and give the Republic hell."

The Siege of Lunar Meadows had begun.

While the fellow senator spoke, people were already fighting near the palace. It was crazy. Lunar Meadow, formerly so peaceful, had become a planet of rebellions. Not only did rebels from this city rebel, but people from the other two towns destroyed their buildings, parks, even markets. This current time was difficult to Aliannah. Before she had come back, she had heard, that people are kind of... unsure and confused. The High Queen, who happened to be the Senator of Lunar Meadow, came, but instead of finding confused people, she saw rioting masses.

"Thank you for your help, Mr. Fenn," she said while crying. Her soft, innocent voice had been a thing people liked her for. And they also knew, that their ruler is fair, caring, so pure... Something had to happen. People of Lunar Meadow had collectively elected her to become the leader who unifies the three towns into one, strong government which would be worthy to be a member of the Galactic Republic.

Now they hated her.

"BURN THE FORT DOWN!"

Even Aliannah was able to hear that. "What? What are they doing? Guards!" These fifteen people standing right next to her room's door, waiting for the attack, now came in, feeling terrified. Aliannah could've sworn they were unsure, just like their commander was. Aliannah still sat on the floor, sun shining onto and around her. "Guards, what shall we do?" She said that all while crying. Everybody would've been able to see tears massively flowing through her face which was red from all of that. They all fell down to her pink dress which was already a bit wet. She was panicking.

Vaudin Miir

Planetary President of Iktotch
@[member="Aliannah S. del D. Filia"] @[member="Ayumi Pallopides"] @[member="Yusan Fenn"]

Vaudin raced around the corner of the palaces upper floor and pulled his comlink t his lips.

"This is Senator Miir!" He said not slowing from his run, "get my security team up to the Queen's floor now baracde the doors until we can get her outta here! And ask those Jedi to get their buts up here we jave a situation."

Vaudin raced to the Queen/Senator's quarters and opened the door slowly. The poor girl was in shambles. She sat on the floor of her room crying. Vaudin walked in and did his best to be sympathetic but they needed to hurry.

"Senator Aliannah, we need to get you out of here now." He said moving to grab her hand gently. Poor kid. "I know it's hard but you can't do anything from here love."

Vaudin nodded to Fenn and checked his comlink the Jedi were coming with Vaudin's team, but how were they going to get her out?

Yusan waved his hand before walking over to the window, speaking as hes legs carried him across the floor. "I do believe he is right, it is time for both of you to leave this Palace if possible, a battlefield is no place for a queen." He didnt mean it as an insult, just an observation. All they would do is get in the way if his assumptions about them were indeed correct, further more they would not have the guts to use deadly force if necessary and there was no doubt someone else at work here, he didnt know who though. Reaching down he grabbed his comlink.

"Squads Alpha and Beta, i want you to beeline it to the Palace so as to provide additional support for the building, deadly force is authorized if only necessary, otherwise you will keep your weapons to stun or aim to cripple. Squads Charlie, Delta, and Echo. We need a destraction, fire into the crowd on sight, weapons on stun or crippling shots are prefered. Squads Foxtrot, Gamma, Hellion, Iccaris, and Jupiter you are to remain by the ship and wait for further instructions."

He shut down the comlink, in a few minutes it would be getting loud, very much so to the point that the riot will be turning into a bath of blood. His eyes found their way back to the two while he pulled his helmet off his belt and held it in his hands, his pistols and saber hanging from their places as his cloak parted to reveal the armor. "Now, perhaps we should get you out of here, no?"

"I will not leave this place. It is my home, they are my people. I won't turn my back on her. I understand why they're rioting. I have my forces here, I can go and speak with my people," Aliannah argued. "I know you want to help and I appreciate it. But I don't want to run away like a fool..." She rose up from the ground and headed to the door. "Guards, come with me!" she said only a moment before stepping out. She wanted other Senators to follow. She wanted them to participate in defending the palace as much as possible. It was like a relic which had belonged to her family for a long time. Of course it wasn't the most important thing there was, but she really didn't want to lose it.

"Commander Jack, take your units to the front door. Like my colleague said, shoot people only if it's really needed." The Commander nodded and ran away with her troops. Aliannah had recovered some courage, but she still cried. It was too much for a young leader, a young Senator like her. She was only barely over 18 years old.

"GET OUT OF OUR PLANET, REPUBLIC! IT'S LUNAR MEADOW'S PROBLEM, NOT YOURS!"

Ayumi moved, the few soldiers she had with her doing as needed and as ordered but whatever was happening here they needed to work to make sure it was put down. Couldn't have a huge rebellion in the middle of the Republic it would have to be put down hard and she moved grabbing another mans blaster and slamming it into his face. Then she pulled holding the rifle towards him to make sure he wasn't moving while she stepped back a little and moved to join the others while letting her eyes go from focused to more personal. More relaxed and nice without that wanting to break the leader of this rebellions back over her knee.

OOC: I'm alone? I thought I had at least one other person. Ah, well. Those Sith Knights will be useful, I guess.

The bloodbath that @[member="Yusan Fenn"] was expecting would have about as much oil as blood, as Squads Alpha and Beta found that Lightsaber and Droid don't end well for the latter. The Sith were making quick work of the droids, as Strask climbed down from his vantage point. He needed to clean up the mess, but he needed to not be recognized. This wasn't CIS work, so he was not Viceroy here. Æthel drew a pair of blasters and followed. "This may be harder than we thought. We've got unknown forces inbound, and those war droids won't go down as easy as one may expect. I swear to you, I will do whatever it takes to free your planet." The man nodded, and Strask, in a typical agent manner, pulled out a KYD and stalked over to the battleground, his fur discolored and his eyes hidden by a pair of special-made contacts.

Yusan hummed as he stood on the balcony now over-watching the crowd, His droids had done well at first up until they started to go offline on his datapad causing the vice chancellor to frown. He let his eyes sail over the crowd before he turned nd headed for his sip so that he may return without incident, once there he would gather up his men and dela with this personallly and then that would simply be the end of it. He had a feeling though that it was not as simple as just taking out some citizens with stun weapons, no something more was here now. And he would see to it that the inciter was eliminated once he reached the dropship and linked up with his troops to organize a successful removal of the threat before it became far to strong. @[member="Strask Ak'lya"] @[member="Ayumi Pallopides"] @[member="Aliannah S. del D. @[member="Vaudin Miir"]'s comlink crackled with a long-distance, rerouted transmission.

"Oy, Vaud. Heard it's a mess over on Meadow. I've got a couple of...contacts onsite, or close enough. Lemme know if you need'em and they'll show."

Vaudin heard the voice and was surprised his Master had got ahold of him.

"Yeah things are a bit...touchy at the moment. We may need a hand before long." He was taking a position at a back entrance to avoid being flanked his peope we're already taking a few losses as the angry mob stormed the young queens palace.

"Some one made these folks real mad, Jor." Vaudin said as he began firing at some advancing militants. "Don't know what it is but their hotter than plasma cutter about something."

@[member="Vaudin Miir"]

"Sounds like ten pounds of trouble in a five-pound bag. There's a good man in the neighbourhood, Vaud. I'll throw him a line, see what he can do. Well, I say 'man,' what I mean is-"

The transmission cut out. Jamming.
