Private What Lies in Darkness...

Darkness. Odin was familiar with it. His time among the Jedi, and his seclusion as a monk, had not guarded him from the evils of the world. He faced them. His duty was to rid the galaxy of what he could, and in order to do that, he needed to understand it. Darkness was not simply darkness. There were complexities to it. Nuance and shadow made it hard to detect at times. Not everything was overtly evil, and while the monk had wished everything was as simple a matter as light and dark he often found the galaxy was gray.
This did not mean he accepted it.
Darkness corrupted whatever it touched, and the light healed what the darkness destroyed. This was the path he had chosen to walk. Odin was a light bearer, a carrier of the cure the galaxy needed.
He was a lone.
The trip to Ambria was like any other pilgrimage he had taken. The Force Nexus which was at the center of the planet was not one any would miss. The Vessel of Bogan was a large tower which had taken over three centuries to construct. It was a marvel of engineering and a archeological wonder. There were several reasons for Odin's interest. What drew him most was the way in which is was powered. It was said the tower had been powered by the fear and pain of the slaves which had been used to construct it. His mind was curious as to how one would bind such emotion and feeling to an object.
Odin was familiar with ways he could project the light and the peace he carried within, but to bind and emotion to a thing was... different.
His walking staff clicked against the stone as the darkness of the place washed over him. He could feel its presence, the fear and suffering which had been caused so long ago. As though the slaves still lived, he could sense their cries of anguish and pleas for freedom as his calloused hand pressed against cold stone.
He wept.
There was nothing he could do to save them the pain, but perhaps there would be a way to loose what had been bound to the tower itself. This was his purpose.

The Vessel of Bogan.

Long has she wanted to explore its mystical footprint. She knew about the history of Ambria - of the creation of this obelisk. She had studied its creation to the point of a fanatic.

When she got a breather from the Solanaceae, Auria decided to investigate what made this creation tick - or more specifically, to figure out a way to recreate it without ruffling Confederate feathers. Hiring a ship to the Dark planet, even though it was in Silver space, was easy enough. It was not a luxury yacht, but at least it had a hyperdrive.

Setting foot on the planet, she could immediately feel it - the whole area exuded Dark energy. The actions must have been truly atrocious to achieve this kind of power. She did not even have to ask for directions - she just followed her nose. Auria had always been more attuned to the Darker, more destructive energies. The Nexus here was stronger than on most other places - few could rival it.

Yet.....

As she approached the giant obelisk, there was something that very slightly tainted the Dark energies that swirled around the obsidian structure. Putting her mind to it, she could finally pin the taint - the stinking Light Side. What was a Light Sider doing this close to the Nexus?

Feeling her way through the mystics, she pinpointed the area the taint was coming from. Following the Force-trail, she finally spotted the source of the taint. A guy with a walking stick? Really?
"What are you doing here?" she asked him, a dark brow lifting as she approached him.

His tears were not the only sound which echoed around the hall. There were footsteps which bounced to his ears. Odin was aware that he was not alone, but the darkness he held hid the aura.
He knew it. Something dark, someone dark, was here as well.
"Frak."
The curse was uncharacteristic of him, but even though he was a monk, the Jedi was not perfect. He was not one to curse often however, but the unexpected visitor was going to complicate his plans. There was nothing he could do to free the souls which had been trapped there, but he could investigate the nature of the nexus and see if it could be prevented in other places.
Her voice called out to him. What was he doing there?
"Learning," he said as he looked over his shoulder.
She was beautiful. Of course she was. What dark sider was not a temptress in their own way. Yes, his view as a monk likely tainted his view of how things worked in this regard, but Odin held a mystical view of the battle between light and dark. She was a devil, a temptress to him. He needed to be careful.
"Same question, why are you here?"
