While Jennifer had unknowingly approached Eziekel a whole lot of other things happened around her she didn’t really seem to take too much note of at first. The most importantly of them, all being the adventures of a certain Ropo that had just awoken from its sleep. Its escape from the comfort of the top of a box and the heroic sprint through deadly traps whom other people referred to as
boots, was not noted by Jennifer until late in its adventure where it had jumped to what it thought to be safety and climbed the leg of... Jennifer herself, fleeing into one of the many pouches and pockets attached to her trousers.
Even though Jennifer probably did have a secret, partially hidden compassion for cute animals, an event such as this, where she merely saw a blur of white fur... To say the least, it didn’t exactly make her think of “cute animals.” Especially considering their stinky surroundings.
A scream, probably the most girly scream Jennifer had ever made came from her as she saw the fur enter one of her many pockets, the shock provoking the reaction.
“W-WHAT was that!?” She asked out loud, yelled rather as she stared down towards the pocket where she through the fabric could feel the heat from the fur ball becoming larger for a second, then retract, repeatedly. The only obvious explanation to that would be that it was, 1. Either out of breath, or 2. frightened? Probably...
At the tone of Jennifer’s voice one would have been able to hear that she had, perhaps, become just as frightened as the furball, her curiosity however seeming to take its grasp around her as she quickly seemed to calm down, sort of serious even, her eyes still fastened upon the pocket. Without a word, she put her other hand on the other side of her trousers, pulling a short, rather old and used looking, vibro blade (That stood in deep contrast to the rest of her outfit) from in-between a case and a pouch that was both attached to her trousers, the blade almost hidden until now.
Careful not to stab herself she twisted the blade in her hand so she would be able to bring the blade into the pocket should whatever was in it resist or become violent, using her free hand to somewhat gently poke the side of the now filled pocket with her finger she would wait.. Perhaps attempt to stab it if it went bezerk! But... Should no reaction come from that, Jennifer would sheet the knife and a second after push from under the pocket to, in one quick motion, turn it inside out.
Surely now, something would reveal itself.. And she hoped… Perhaps to this godly Force thingy that it wasn’t a Space Spider.
