Congratulations you have found a safe-place for those of a like mind as you. Scum and Villainy isn’t a faction, it isn’t a cartel and it isn’t a singular location; no this place is something far more then any of that. Scum and Villainy is an idea, a formation of information and resources in order to allow those who play the real side of the Star Wars galaxy to talk, plan and most importantly be given purpose in a galaxy that, lets face it, we run. So what can I do here?
Upon joining the faction you will want to head over to the introduction thread. Here you can post a little bit about yourself as well as your area of interest and talents. It will most likely be this little blurb and your own character sheet that potential partners will want to look into upon consideration of hire or full paid hire of you.
Following this the faction is here to help you. Jump into the Mission Terminals and take a job, go out and get yourself a reputation, be it for efficient completion of the many possible tasks available to you or a notorious name for dropping cargo a few too many times. If you are starting out visit the resources page to find companies that are friendly and useful to our kind as well as Cartels and Syndicates looking for members to join their full time retainer lists.
In the end, after all the role-play is done why not just throw up a casual thread and hang with others who play the criminal elements or join our Discord and have a laugh at each others expense.
So is this a faction or not?
Yes and no. While it acts as a series of independent operators and a hub for criminal elements the faction can and will still operate as a minor faction if the member base agrees. We will use minor status in order to build tech and submit locations under a common title and yes, if it fits the theme and people want to we will rebel against majors trying to take territories that are of interest to cartels and syndicates.
Will you ever go Major?
Never say never, but probably no.
Can I be a Force-User here? Do you have a dedicated force order?
You can be whatever you want to be, it’s in the joy of being a mercenary, criminal overlord or bounty hunter. We wont ever have a dedicated force order, because we aren’t an establishment so to speak. However nothing stopping you making a Force using cartel and advertising them through us.
